Episode122(3) In continuation of the last episode where the episode ends with the king explaining to Panchavan Madevi citing the many factors leading to the swaying of a plant but which is always attributed only to the wind. Likewise the kings mindset has many reasons which instigated him to embark on this magnum venture to construct the temple. The queen is enthralled to hear this. After this she bids adieu to the king and moves ahead to give orders to the soldiers.The king instructs Pazhuvettaiyar to tighten security at the castle when the Pandiya soldiers reach there to enact their dance drama. He also thinks about what Nayanmar story he is bound to tell his queens when he meets them. He intends to discuss it with the Thaliserry ladies whom he is going to meet tonight. He eats and slips into a deep slumber. The scene shifts to the harem where Panchavan Madevi has a slight displeasure about the chief Queen who is not showing interest in the temple work. She also thinks about sending Rajaraji a spy to the Thaliserry ladies place to ensure the safety of the king. She writes a note to Saavurparanjyothi to take care of Rajarajis lodgings. She bathes and eats . The author gives us an insight into the hamam and other Royal spa treatments offered to the Queen's in that era. Rajaraji enters and the queen gives her the note and asks her to depart. Rajaraji enquires about Saavur Paranjyothi to Muthanaponnangai and learns the following. He is been appointed by the king to safeguard the Thaliserry ladies who are involved in temple work.He is born to an Yavanar clan man and a Gangar devadaasi. He is at present returning back after completing last rites of his mother.

சக்ரவர்த்திக்காக இறக்கின்ற உரிமையை எனக்கு கொடுங்கள் Episode 122(2) This episode continues with the king expressing his concern about the slave soldier who had died. He intends to go in person to Naartharmalai. He enquires Panchavan Madevi about other news in his kingdom. She tells him the following news:(1) The brahmans wanted to meet the king regarding the sacred thread issue with the karumaars. The king is angered and denies, but he comes to know that they have approached the Royal chief Guru Esaana Siva Pandidhar. The king is annoyed and decides to have an audience with them. (2) The queen then gives him a joyous news that many kings from neighbouring kingdoms have sent gifts and good wishes to the King for embarking upon the task of construction of the magnum Temple. The king is delighted. (3) The king is deeply moved with anguish to hear about the suicidal attempt of three Maravar Youths as a token of their love and sacrifice to the king for his temple construction.(4) The kings Chief Queen and other queens have expressed their desire to meet the king at the harem, and also requested for the order to conduct the most acclaimed Hanuman act played by the Pandiya soldiers. The king approves and asks Panchavan Madevi to accompany him to meet the Thalicherry ladies. She denies and the king is overwhelmed to see her selfless nature.She then expresses her deep concern about the King's health and here we can see a romantic moment and exchange of love and affection between the king and his beloved Queen.

ஓ... இறப்பே நிகழ்த்துவிட்டதா⁉️ 😱 என்று சக்ரவர்த்தி சட்டென்று கேட்டார் #Comments by Mrs. Lakshmi Rajkumar # Episode 121(1) As we step in to listen to the Third Book of this magnum literature Udaiyar, I express my gratitude and reverence to the author Thiru Balakumaran Sir🙏 and Uma ma'am for her exemplary recital and efforts to enable us to savour this book through her🙏. In this episode the author takes us through a visual tour of Nartharmalai, a town where the mountainous rocks are cut and chiselled and deported by elephant driven carts to Tanjore. These rocks will be sculpted and used in the construction of the Temple being built by Raja Raja Chola. The economy of the town is depicted tastefully here.The chieftan of Nartharmalai recieves a handwritten message from the king on a palm leaf, which states that Sadasiva Achariar will be the head of Nartharmalai and the surrounding villages hence forth. This message is being spread everywhere. The head and chief sculptor Sadasiva instructs other sculptors to conduct auspicious poojas and to start the work. He has a verbal discussion with the accountant regarding the financial matters and advices him to rent a house which shall function as a bank to ensure monetary safety.

நார்த்தா மலையில் முதல் வேலையில் நரபலி விழுந்தது #Comments by Mrs. Lakshmi Rajkumar# Episode 121(2) In this episode we see that the accountant keeps two Maravars as security guards and also the author gives us an insight into the different types of heads known as karnathaars allocated to handle financial aspects of different departments like temple,agriculture, artillery, army, village,horses, castle expenses etc. We can also see how Sadasiva the head sculptor exhibits his inherent pride by venting out his anger on another chief sculptor, which is noticed by the Accountant. After offering prayers to all the Deities Sadasiva orders the slave solders to start the work. The author describes the strenuous manual work undertaken by the soldiers to crack the mountainous rocks, with just big hammers and chisels. During this work Sadasiva cautions the chalukya soldiers to move away, as a boulder was rolling down towards them. Due to their negligence,lack of awareness and swiftness the boulder rock smashes one of the chalukya soldier to death. This sad incident leaves Sadasiva agonized. The accountant is delighted to see Sadasivams agony.
