In this week's "True Crime Tuesday" episode the SIP n UnWINE ladies discuss the case of George Waterfield Russell Jr., a serial killer who took the lives of three women back in 1990 in Seattle, WA. Martia said this was one of the darkest episodes she's ever had to host. Richard Ramirez dubbed the Night Stalker was an American serial killer, serial rapist, kidnapper, child molester, and burglar whose crime spree took place in California between June 1984 and August 1985. He was convicted and sentenced to death in 1989. We also give an update to Sip N UnWINE’s episode #43 with the Nancy Crampton-Brophy murder case.

It was February 4, 2007, Super Bowl Sunday.  A 9-1-1 call would be made from the Bennett's household around 11:30pm, to report a murder.  Paris Bennett,13, made a call that would change his family forever.  The monstrous crime he committed left a grieving mother, Charity Bennett with more questions than answers. Until her son Paris confesses to her why he violently killed his 4-year-old sister, Ella Lee Bennett.  

In this week's "True Crime Tuesday" episode, the SIP n UnWINE ladies discuss a couple of strange cases... including one that took place here in the U.S. and the other that took place in India. We also revisit the Lorenzen Wright case and provide some recent updates. The Lorenzen Wright case was featured in Episode 8 "Into the Night" if you want to go back and listen.

On May 1990 when Marlene Warren opened her door and was shot in the face by a clown delivering carnations and balloons to her home in Wellington, a suburb of West Palm Beach, Florida. Police later arrest Sheila Keen-Warren for the crime.

Lacey Hirst-Pavek lived a perfect small-town life in the state of Washington.  Lacey is married with two children to a loving husband, Danny Pavek.  Unfortunately, for Lacey this all came crashing down when a rumor that Danny was having an affair, with a young woman by the name of Michelle Kitterman, began circulating the town.  Hirst-Pavek is furious with the news, and decides to take matters into her own hands, or should it be said, someone else’s.  She unhesitatingly proceeded with a murder for hire by brainwashing three people within this town to not only harm Michelle, but the baby that was created within the affair.

In this week's "True Crime Tuesday" episode the SIP n UnWINE ladies discuss the case of George Emil Banks. He committed a massacre against his own family members back in 1982 and this case is one of the most horrific acts of familicide in U.S. history. George went to prison for his crimes, but he was deemed incompetent and was granted a stay of execution. Listen to the episode and chime in with your thoughts about this case.

Amy Allwine, 43, was found shot to death on November 13, 2016, inside the family's Cottage Grove home.  Amy's body was found lifeless by her then 9 years old son and her husband Stephen Allwine.  The scene was staged to look like a suicide. But the Cottage Grove Police Department would discover something more sinister. This true crime would not only involve a murder but the intertwining of the dark web, greed, lies and infidelity. 

In this week's "True Crime Tuesday" episode the SIP n UnWINE ladies discuss the case of Frances Newton. Her estranged husband and two young children were shot to death one night while they were sleeping. There was no forced entry and only one suspect. Over 30 years later there are still questions about the evidence and facts of this case.  Make sure you listen till the very end for BTS outtakes, because we like to end things - on a lighter note!

On November 21,1987, in Holland, Michigan, there would be a double homicide that would shock a community and make headlines across the state. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department would have more questions than answers as to who would commit this brutal murder. A young couple, Rick and Gail Brink, would be found murdered at their residence by Rick Brink's parents. There would be no evidence left behind and no signs of a burglary or forced entry into the home. So, without any possible leads, this case would go cold for over two decades. But, in the year of 2011, the Brink's case would be reopened and gain the momentum it needed to be solved. The Ottawa cold case unit would get the big break; they needed from an unlikely witness to expose an unlikely suspect.
