There are lots of things to protect with your social media platforms and your website. Are you on top of them? Or are bad actors smearing your name and reputation just to get a reaction. Time to ban, block and delete the bots and the bad actors! You must monitor your areas and respond to customer requests. Who does it in your business? Don't forget to detach yourself for auto-renewals of Black Friday deal commitment deals from last year - you KNOW they will renew higher! Sometimes you don't get notified. Mark it in your calendars for next year. Pay attention. Also adjust your hours on your Google Business Profiles for being closed on Thanksgiving. When big emergencies happen like hurricanes and tornadoes in your area it's best to be quiet about your brand and industry postings. Be more community focused and help people locate Red Cross Shelters or stations where food and water is being distributed. Use your social media feed to assist in recovery and not blather on about how great your business is doing. Be sensitive to other people's situations. Listen in. I share my FEMA experience from 1997.
