Sunday October 18th, 2026: Delight in Communion - Pastor Brady Rose
2026/10/18
Beginning with 1 Corinthians 11, Pastor Brady invites us to “get our shovels out” and dig for the gold God promises in Holy Communion. Many believers feel little when the bread and cup are passed, yet Scripture calls this table an anchor for our faith and our fellowship. By tracing Paul’s rebuke of the divided church at Corinth, Pastor Brady showed how Communion (1) proclaims our oneness in Christ and (2) cost the Host His own broken body and shed blood. Because Jesus paid everything, we come with gratitude, reconciliation, and delight in one another—making this meal the richest feast on earth.
Sunday September 20th, 2026: A True Disciple Does Anything to Attain Christ - Pastor Brady Rose
2026/09/20
Pastor Brady used the familiar account of Zacchaeus to illustrate what a “true disciple” looks like. Zacchaeus was rich, corrupt, and hated, yet he was desperate enough to climb a tree just to glimpse Jesus. Jesus, in turn, shocked the crowd by inviting Himself to Zacchaeus’ house before Zacchaeus had done a single thing to clean up his life. That scandalous order—grace first, transformation second—broke money’s spell over Zacchaeus and produced radical restitution and generosity. The message pressed listeners to examine whether Jesus’ grace has produced similar fruit in them, especially in how they handle their time, abilities, and money. Generosity, the pastor insisted, is the dashboard light that reveals whether Christ truly rules the heart.
Sunday August 16th, 2026: Last Lap Christians - Pastor Brady Rose
2026/08/16
Pastor Brady reminds the church that an eternal perspective is essential for joyful, faithful discipleship. Paul compares the Christian life to the Isthmian Games familiar to Corinth, urging believers to run, fight, and train like athletes who want to win. That means laying down personal rights for the sake of the gospel, exercising strict self-control, pressing through suffering, and guarding personal integrity so we are not disqualified. This message calls every believer—young or old, just starting or in the “fourth quarter”—to become a “last-lap Christian” who hears Christ say, “Well done,” not merely, “Well begun.”
Sunday August 2nd, 2026: Psalms 143 & 145 - Wes Payne & Billy Enos
2026/08/02
In two short messages explored twin movements of the believer’s life. • Psalm 143 shows David in deep distress: he confesses his sin, remembers God’s faithfulness, and submits to God’s will while asking for rescue. • Psalm 145 lifts our eyes from survival to celebration, urging daily, generational, and eternal praise for the unmatched character of God. Wes and Billy weave personal testimony, vivid metaphors (“rebar” monuments of past deliverance), and a clear gospel invitation: the God who saves us in crisis is the same God we must honor with every breath.
Sunday July 19th, 2026: I Will Bless the Lord at ALL Times - Pastor Bubba Rose
2026/07/19
Through personal stories (a 34-day mission in Togo during a prison break, and his wife Nedra’s recent traumatic injuries) Pastor Bubba illustrated how praising God in the dark releases miracles and steadies the heart. Biblical examples of Paul and Silas in prison and Job in loss reinforced the call. Bubba includes all of us in an invitation to surrender every unresolved fear and trust God’s mysterious purposes.
Sunday July 12th, 2026: Remember - Coach Ronnie Plyler
2026/07/12
Preaching from Psalm 77, Coach Plyler traced Asaph’s journey from desperation to confidence. Asaph began in anguish, crying that God seemed absent, but he pivoted—“I will remember the works of the LORD”—and faith returned. The sermon wove together modern stories (a Golden Gate Bridge survivor, a 50-cent-piece object lesson) and personal testimonies of cancer, marriage, and parenting to show that remembering God’s deeds is not sentimental nostalgia; it is a spiritual discipline that steadies the mind, fuels prayer, and invites fresh obedience. The congregation was urged to fight “stinking thinking” by reading Scripture, speaking life-giving words, and praying—then to mark God’s interventions so future storms will find them anchored.
Sunday July 5th, 2026: From Blessing to Gladness - Brian Harrell
2026/07/05
Psalm 67 stands in the very center of the biblical story. It takes us back to God’s promise to bless Abraham, echoes the priestly blessing of Numbers 6, and points forward to the day when all peoples worship before the throne in Revelation 21. The psalm shows a clear movement: 1. God's gracious face shines on His people; 2. That blessing is meant to make His ways known among all nations; 3. The result is worldwide, joy-filled worship; 4. Ultimately the whole earth lives in reverent awe of Him. In Christ those promises reach their peak: at the Feast of Tabernacles Jesus announced that living water would flow from everyone who believes in Him, turning the mission from “come and see” to “go and tell.” Indwelt by the Holy Spirit, every believer now carries God’s presence outward so that people near and far may share our joy.
Sunday June 28th, 2026: Laying Down Our Rights - Pastor Brady Rose
2026/06/28
Paul’s instructions about meat sacrificed to idols expose a danger still alive in us: knowledge that serves self instead of love that serves people. 1 Corinthians 8 presses every believer to ask, “Am I using what I know to build others up or to puff myself up?” Pastor Brady walked through the passage, spotlighting Paul’s own anguish for people (Romans 9) and calling us to a life where every gift, opinion, and freedom is gladly laid down for the good of a brother or sister and for the rescue of the lost. 1 Corinthians 8 | Romans 9 | Galatians 4:9 | Jeremiah 9:23:24
Sunday June 21st, 2026: The Godly Man - Pastor Brady Rose
2026/06/21
On Father’s Day our pastor paused the 1st Corinthians series to address “What is a godly man?” from 1 Timothy 6:11 ↗ . In a culture confused about gender and masculinity, Scripture paints a clear picture: a man of God belongs to God and is marked by what he flees, pursues, fights for, and remains faithful to. The message called men to reject passivity, embrace biblical responsibility, and depend wholly on Christ for strength.
Sunday June 14th, 2026: Right Where You Need to Be - Pastor Brady Rose
2026/06/14
1 Corinthians 7:17-24 Paul answers the Corinthians’ anxious questions about jobs, marriage, status, and change. His bottom-line sentence: God already knows your situation and can work through it. Secured in Christ, believers are free to stay, serve, or move without panic, because identity is anchored vertically in Jesus, not horizontally in work or social standing.
Sunday June 7th, 2026: God's Wisdom for Troubled Marriages - Pastor Brady Rose
2026/06/07
1 Corinthians 7:10-15 Paul’s teaching in 1 Corinthians 7 calls husbands and wives to see their marriages through the lens of eternity, not just the momentary pressures of “for better or for worse.” God’s covenant love, revealed in Christ, makes marriage a lifelong, gospel-shaped union that should not be dissolved lightly. Yet Scripture also names a narrow set of situations—adultery or an unbelieving spouse’s departure—where divorce and remarriage are permitted. The sermon urges believers to take this “long view,” draw on God’s grace, and pursue holiness and peace in every marital circumstance.
Sunday May 31st, 2026: God's Wisdom for Marriage and Singleness Pt. 1 - Pastor Brady Rose
2026/05/31
Paul answers the Corinthians’ questions about sex, marriage, and singleness by showing that both marriage and celibate singleness are gifts from God, designed for purity, partnership, prayer, and mission. Sex inside the covenant of marriage is good and protective; singleness, properly embraced, creates unique freedom for undivided devotion to the Lord. Whichever season we are in, deep contentment comes from receiving God’s assignment and living selflessly for His glory.
Sunday May 24th, 2026: My Body Belongs to God - Pastor Brady Rose
2026/05/24
Sunday May 17th, 2026: A Wake Up Call From God - Pastor Brady Rose
2026/05/17
Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 6 are a spiritual wake-up call: God’s people must not drag one another into secular courts over personal disputes. Such lawsuits tarnish the gospel, ignore our future role in God’s kingdom, violate the way Christ designed His church, and contradict the new identity we have received through being washed, sanctified, and justified in Jesus. The passage presses each believer to prize the reputation of Christ above personal rights and to live in a way that makes the watching world ask about the hope within us.
Sunday May 10th, 2026: The Hard Work of a Healthy Church - Pastor Brady Rose
2026/05/10
Paul confronts the Corinthian church for tolerating a shocking case of sexual immorality that even pagan culture found repulsive. 1 Corinthians 5 becomes a template for loving, restorative church discipline: persistent, public, unrepentant sin must be addressed for the good of the sinner, the church, Christ’s honor, and the watching world. Drawing on Matthew 18’s four-step process, Passover imagery, and numerous New Testament texts, the sermon urges believers to treat sin seriously, pursue repentance, and embrace the protective blessing of biblical community.
