I often struggle with the balance between living in the moment and looking forward. As someone who used to always be chasing the next high from life learning to live in the present & stop trying to plan my life to the enth degree has been a huge life lesson and personality shift. What I learnt was, my constant need for seeking out the 'next' was because I was so unhappy in the present & so deep in my comparisonitis. Today I chat through the healthy balance of wanting more, but not being unhappy with your life as is. Wanting more is not a crime.
