Note: this episode was released in December 2020. Kathleen Cook is the senior admin of the Product & Marketing Organization, Finance and Business Transformation teams at Starbucks Canada. She started as a store manager in 1996 and throughout her journey, she has held 10 different roles to date in a variety of functions. Today, we focus on her current role as a senior admin to give partners a glimpse into this role, and the key skills required to succeed.

Note: This episode was originally released in December 2020. Now vp of Operations Services, Ferdinand Heyde joined Starbucks in 2004 as a store manager. His career journey has spanned a variety of roles, including district manager and regional director. In 2016, he even had the opportunity to do a time-limited assignment supporting Store Development, where his combination of field knowledge and leadership skills helped him remove barriers for his new team. As this is a critical quality for every leader, today we dive into his approach on removing barriers.
