    On this episode Phillip is joined by his friends Tim Martin and Arsenio Alverez III. (Unfortunately Chip is not on this episode.) It's a very special episode where Phillip, Tim, and Arsenio start the show by talking about how hard it is to make a short film, the love of film, and the short films that Tim and Arsenio have been working on. After introducing Tim and Arsenio, Phillip then starts the conversation by asking several questions for them to discuss (play along if you want); What movie or incident made you want to become a filmmaker?, As a movie lover would you rather lose your sight or lose your hearing?, What was the first movie that you saw in the theater?, Who are your top five favorite directors?,  Who are your top five favorite actors?, What are your top five favorite movies?, and What is a movie or scene in a movie that really stuck with you? They were even able to have Chip participate with answers that he sent in to the show. Also Phillip reads some answers by one of the frequent listeners, Brandt. Phillip then gives his Phil's Film Favorite of the Week; F/X (1986). They wrap up the show by talking about Tim and Arsenio's short films.     On this episode Phillip, and his cousin Chip, talk about the 1996 Naval comedy film Down Periscope which is available on HBOMax right now. They start by paying their respects to Ray Liotta who passed away on May 26th. Then Phillip makes a correction from last week's show. Next they dive into the main information about the movie. It's then time for the recasted segment, where they recast the movie with their choices of actors today. They read listener opinions about the movie, and then they dive into the film and talk all about their thoughts on scenes and characters throughout. After giving their ratings to the movie, they talk about why this movie sticks in their head and heart. They read some critic reviews, and then wrap up the show. It's then time for RECASTED, where Phillip and Chip say who they would cast in Starman if it were made today. Phillip reads Listener Opinions, were people write in and comment on what they think about the movie. Then it's time to dive deep into the movie, and give out facts to go with it. They both then talk about what parts of this movie are in their heads and hearts. Then they read the Rotten Tomatoes consensus and then rate the movie themselves. Phillip ends the show with Phil's Film Favorite of the Week; Friday Foster. He and Chip also talk about how bad the movie Airheads was that Phillip saw for the first time the other day.     On this week's episode Phillip and his cousin Chip are in the same room for once. They both went and saw the newest Nicolas Cage movie in the theater and it was so much fun. They start the show by making a small correction from last week's show. They then have a  SPOILER FREE discussion about The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent. They talk about how it made them feel and the tone of the movie. They highly recommend it to anyone. Then instead of recasted, they do a reimagining of the movie with a different actor, and they each pick a different actor. It's then time to give their 1 to 5 star rating for the movie. Phillip then gives Phil's Film Favorite of the Week; Le Samourai (1967). It's then wrap up time.    On this episode, Phillip and Chip are still stuck together in the old west, but this time in Minnie's Haberdashery. After discussing their friend Tim Martin and his team's wins at the New York International Film Festival, they start to get into Quentin Tarantino's 2015 film, The Hateful Eight. Then it's time for RECASTED, a segment of the podcast where they tell who they chose to be in The Hateful Eight if it were made today. It's then time for LISTENER OPINIONS, where Phillip reads the comments from the the podcast fans, off of Instagram and Facebook. They then walk through the film and discuss the parts that really stuck out to them. It's another great discussion. Afterwards, they rate the film 1 out of 5 celluloid hearts.    This week's episode Phillip and his cousin Chip tackle 1939's Stagecoach. They start the show by paying respects to Bruce Willis who has retired from acting due to aphasia. Then the promote their friend's short film Sushi, which has been winning awards at the film festivals. Phillip then reads the main information for this movie. It's then time for the RECASTED segment, where they recast the movie with today's actors. They read some listener opinions about the film, and then they dive deep into the John Ford directed western Stagecoach. (Chip had never seen this movie and it was a fun discussion.) After giving their own ratings for the film, it's time for another segment. Phil's Film Favorite of the Week, and it is A Fish Called Wanda (1988).
