GAMBIER'S REASONLESS KILLER PAIR NOW BOTH SET FREE I'm not sure what initially sparked my curiosity in true crime,   Sitting here thinking about it, as far as I can recall, the first true crime book I ever read was way back in the late 70s, I can't even remember who it was about, The first book I remember was on Neddy Smith, And I think that was the book that turned me on to true crime.  Since then, true crime stories have been floating around in my head.  In 1986, I moved to Mount Gambier, in the southeast of South Australia.  I left Mount Gambier in 1990 to move back to Adelaide.  In those four years, somehow, I managed to be in close contact with at least one murdered person, one woman who vanished from the planet's face and one murderer. There may have been more in each category, but these are the ones I know about.  I will skip quickly through the two cases that this story is not primarily about.  1. Rachel Martin. I knew Rachel Martin's family quite well and used to go out to her parent's property in Kongarong to party quite often. Unfortunately, Luke Simpson murdered Rachel in July 2021. I will add more to this story separately later.  2. Margaret Burnie. Once again, I knew Margaret reasonably well. She had been inside my house a few times. I even gave her a lift from Mount Gambier to Naracoorte 5 days before she disappeared. On 25 January 1988. Margaret had an argument with her mother, walked out of her mother's house, and vanished. Once again, I will post the whole story of this later.  Today's story involves a lady I have never met, Veronica Jane Hay and a man I certainly have met. On numerous occasions, Michael Peter Webb   I know nothing about Hall's story before the main event except that she is an indigenous woman and has a long charge sheet. She also has a daughter, Tamara Jane. Other than that, anything else I say about this woman would be pure speculation.  The other person in this story is Michael Peter Webb.   I first met Webb in 1987. I was sharing the house with my then-girlfriend and another guy from the same area of southern Adelaide where I grew up. The place was great. We had no neighbours. The closest other live in the house was 500 meters away, and the elderly couple who lived there were both deaf as doorposts. All other neighbours were shopping centres, warehouses, Pizza hut etc., and So, In this house, we would have regular Friday night drinks and card nights, loud music playing on the record player, or live bands in the shed, up to 20 people in the lounge, all playing cards. Drinking and smoking some weed.  One weeknight, the phone rang, and I answered it. It was a bloke asking for my girlfriend, so I called out for her, and she talked on the landline phone for about 10 minutes and then hung up. We are going to Kingston. She told me, When I asked her what was going on, she told me two of her friends from Adelaide were on a motorbike, headed our way for a couple of weeks, but one bloke needed to be picked up and driven the rest of the way to the mount. They would meet us in Kingston, 160km away. Off we headed, arriving in Kingston one and a half hours later. We agreed to meet these guys at the Big Lobster. Now, On the way,

SPOTLIGHT EVIL DRUGS AS MAN KILLS 2 FRIENDSIt was Friday, April 27, 2012. The dirt road was dry, VERY dry,There was three people in the four-wheel drive, 40-year-old Philip Jonathan Thomas, 41-year old Christopher Bennet Sandison and his partner of 13 years, Cindy Haynes. All three people in the vehicle knew the owner of the property they were heading for, Shane Jon Shove, who owned a house on Jim Jolly Road in remote Sandalwood in the South Australian outback. The area known as Sandalwood consists of 3 houses and a hall. Sandalwood is the sort of place you go when you don't want to be disturbed by the modern world. It's dry and dusty, 176 km east of Adelaide. The closest place to civilisation is Karoonda, 28 km back towards Adelaide. OUTBACK SOUTH AUSTRALIA All in the car, where headed out to Sandalwood for a weekend of shooting, drinking, smoking some weed, a bit of meth and generally just being out in the open air. Build a campfire at night and drink, smoke and tell a few yarns and have a few laughs. Cindy was also there to get some more tattoo work done as Shove was a bit of a backyard artist when it came to tattoos.The weekend had been going great, probably a little too much drinking and a bit too much drugs, but everything seemed relaxed. However, Shove became more and more paranoid over the few days that Thomas and Sandison were there to steal his weed. The group had run out of beer by Sunday lunchtime, so Sandison drove the 56 Km round trip to Karoonda to get some more.While he was gone, Shove's paranoia over Thomas and Sandison stealing his pot had peaked. SPOTLIGHT EVIL DRUGS AS MAN KILLS 2 FRIENDS Shove grabbed a gun and pointed it at Thomas. All Thomas managed to say was, what the hell are you doing?. And Shove fired, hitting Thomas strait in the heart. Thomas dropped to the floor and was dead before he hit the ground. His body left laying on the back Verandah just as Sandison pulled up the drive with more beer. Cindy, who had witnessed the killing of Thomas, ran out the front of the house to warn her partner, but she was too late. Shove had run around the house and confronted Sandison asking him why he was trying to steal his drugs. When Sandison replied that he wasn't, Shove shot him in the head.Cindy ran to Sandison and held him in her arms as he died. All Shove could say was. Tell them I did it in self-defence.Cindy phoned the police and hid in the four-wheel-drive until they arrived and arrested Shove. SPOTLIGHT EVIL DRUGS AS MAN KILLS 2 FRIENDS During his court case, the prosecutor told the courts that Shove became more and more paranoid as he consumed more drugs. He believed the two blameless men were out to steal his pot.Shove's parents, via a letter, informed the courts that their son's paranoia was linked directly to his drug abuse since the early age of fifteen. The Judge stated that this was a cautionary tale of the effects of drug abuse. The lives of Two innocent men senselessly ended. In doing so, Shove has destroyed his own life and that of many others. Shove pleaded guilty and accepted that he had no justification for doing what he did.Initially, the Judge set a non-parole period of 33 years. But because of his guilty plea and the fact that he showed he was genuinely remorseful and ashamed. The Judge lowered his non-parole period of 26 years.

BODY FOUND VICIOUSLY STABBED It was Wednesday, 11 January 2012. This time of the year, in the tiny Adelaide hills town of Kersbrook, the temperature was starting to climb towards the days top of 31° celsius. The majority of the town's population of 450 people were already up and about or at work. However, a semi-retired man was out for his twice-weekly walk. He would walk about 3 kilometres out of town along the South Para Road and then return. BODY FOUND VICIOUSLY STABBED The man was about 50 meters past the official government sign, "KERSBROOK", walking at a meandering pace. He noticed what looked like a pair of legs poking out from leaf litter. This was down an embankment about two and a half meters from the roadside.  He climbed down the embankment and thought the man may have been asleep. But also noticed the shirtless body was covered in blood. The walker picked up a stick, poking the body and saying, 'Are you all right mate?' but there was no answer,  The walker returned immediately to his house and phoned the Police. Informing them that he thought he had found a body. The Police arrived about 20 minutes later, with the walker showing the officers where the body was. Immediately the South Parra road was closed off to traffic. As more Police arrived, they noticed that the body was dressed only in tracksuit pants and was shirtless. There was no wallet, mobile phone or identification. There were signs of significant head injuries, and blood was everywhere over the body and ground of the surrounding area.  PUNCHING SOMEONE ON THRE GROUND At 4:45 In the afternoon, a man approached an officer at the scene. He stated that when he was heading home two days previously, the man had seen a group of young men in the area near where the body's discovery, "They seemed to be punching someone on the ground" as he roll played the punching motion to the Police.  Another man came forward, stating at around 5:45 Monday evening, he had seen a white Nissan EXA pulled over to the side of the road close to where the body was found.   Police put out TV and radio please for help, and they soon discovered that the body was that of 27-year-old JAYSON DOELZ.   Jayson, Originally from Queensland, along with his partner and young son Isaiah, moved to Glenelg just over 12 months before his death. Back in his home state, he had been in trouble for a few different crimes, including Vehicle theft; He brought his family to South Australia for a new fresh start. He had enrolled in a couple of Tafe courses and had recently obtained his Fork Lift licence.  A coroner examination of Jayson's body revealed his body had more than 80 separate injuries, including nine stab wounds.  COULD NOT FIND A REASON FOR JAYSON'S MURDER  Police tried every avenue open to them but could not find a reason or any likely suspects for Jayson's murder. A $200,000 reward was on offer, but still, no one would come forward with any hard information.   The Police had their suspicions of who had done this. They hounded those believed responsible, but no proof could be found and still no one was talking.  In 2016 someone came forward with an anonymous tip about a Black Ford Falcon ZR6, stating that this car's boot (Trunk) transported Jayson before they murdered him. The problem with the car is that it is possibly the most challenging vehicle in the world to access,

Australian True CrimeJoshua James David Slape is a monster.Plain and simple, an absolute monster. FIRST KNOWN RAPE At the age of 19, Josh attacked his first KNOWN adult victim. He raped and indecently assaulted a woman on June 10, 2017, at Josh's Glenburnie farm, just 9 km from Mount Gambier in South Australia's South East.The woman was part of an Equestrian event on Josh's farm. She had put her children to sleep and was dozing off in her swag when awoken by Slape walking on her swag. He told the woman "not to leave him sexually frustrated". Instead, he forced her to perform some sexual acts on him and then forced himself upon her. The woman later informed police that she felt "trapped and powerless and couldn't breathe once he was on top of her," Being mindful that her 13-year-old son was asleep very close by. SECOND KNOWN RAPE On January 7, 2018, the second incident happened at the Kongorong Rodeo, 26 km from Mount Gambier.The woman, a family friend of Slape's, was lying in her swag. Slape was all of a sudden on her swag,"Slape just climbed in once again said, "Don't leave me sexually frustrated" He pulled down her shorts, Digitally raped her then raped her with his penis. During forensic tests, Slape's DNA was found in the underwear and swags of both women.Slape was arrested and bailed out, Not too long after, charged again with maintaining an unlawful sexual relationship with a child under the age of 17 and engaging in multiple sexual acts at several towns around the southeast with a 15-year-old girl.Police once again charged Slape with indecently assaulting the same child three more times over three months, once again in different towns around the South East. Slape was again arrested. Once again sent to the Mount Gambier jail but released soon after on the strict condition. He was not alone with the 15-year-old girl under any circumstances. Then a couple of weeks later, the pair both attended a birthday party and managed to slip away together away from the other people under the pretence of feeding hay to the horses.One of the other guests spotted the two together alone and phoned the police.Slape was immediately arrested and hauled off to the Mt Gambier Jail.This time the courts refused bail. Australian True Crime Eventually, police dropped the charges against Slape for maintaining an unlawful sexual relationship with a child.  BIG ANGRY FINKS BIKIE. To understand this story, you need an introduction to five people. Person one is Michael Varehov. Born in China in August of 1968, his family moved to Australia when he was fifteen. Michael looked Chinese, so you would often see him disguising himself by wearing dark sunglasses. Michael grew up in Australia but kept some of his childhood contacts back in China. Because of This, Michael was the perfect go-between, especially in the drug scene. Michael set up deals between Chinese triad members and Australian Bikie clubs at an early age.  At the age of 25, the Police arrested Michael for selling single deals of heroin to locals in the Elizabeth shopping centre in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. While he was awaiting trial on bail, he was busted once again with heroin,   This time, Police arrested Michael, and another Northern Suburbs man with 10.9 kg of pure Chinese heroin, along with eight other men Australia wide as the drugs were part of a massive 47.7kg importation via Perth and destined for dealers all over Australia.  Sentenced to six years Michael received six years imprisonment.  Ten years later, in 2004, he was again in trouble for his part of a massive methamphetamine importation group. This time the importation was centred around Dubbo, NSW, and was the largest importation of illegal drugs on record at the time.  Person two is a man named Bradley Eric Fowler. Although available public information on Bradley is hard to find, there are sealed court records concerning a rather large case in the mid-80s in a secluded part of South Australia. I am not 100% convinced this is the same person involved in both cases, but the people's ages and a few more details match up. Because of not being 100% guaranteed, this is the same person. (I'm only 90% sure) and the fact that if it is the same person, at the time of the offence back in nineteen eighty-four, the person named on court documents would have been a minor, So I will not publish information on the crime from back then. However, as evident later on, I needed to include Bradly in this story. BIG ANGRY FINKS BIKIE Person 3 is PATRICK FRANCIS MCCARTHY, Born in 1962. At the time of this story, Patrick was a fully patched member of the Finks MC.  Previous to today's story, the most significant charge laid against Patrick was in 2009. A woman was travelling down Greenhill road at Uraidla when she stopped to let another car reverse out of a driveway. Patrick was behind the woman and got angry that she had blocked to let the other vehicle out into the traffic. Patrick tailgated her while yelling abuse out the window at her. The woman then did what she claimed was possibly the stupidest thing she had ever done in her life. She gave Patrick the finger then turned it into a doctors surgery car park. Patrick then blocked the exit to the car park, preventing her from leaving. The woman claimed that when she got out of her car. Patrick slapped her around the back of the head and abused her. Including telling her, "I know where you live, and I will come and get you tonight" When the Police came to interview Patrick a couple of days later, Patrick refused to answer any questions the Police asked. The courts eventually dropped the actual assault charge, but Patrick was fined $400 for refusing to answer questions and had recorded a conviction. Persons 4 and 5 are two women.  One of the women, a 23-year-old from Victoria and a 29-year-old from Aldgate who was the Neice of  Due to suppression orders,

This is a South Australian True Crime Short story Thursday 14 January 2022 WOMAN BLEEDS OUT DUE TO SIZABLE LEG WOUND A 26-year-old woman, Ursula Williamson, has been charged with murder after she stabbed a 55-year-old Pennington woman to death.The stabbing occurred at a block of units owned by Anglicare, on Brooklyn Terrace, Kilburn, about 1 am Thursday 14 January. WOMAN BLEEDS OUT DUE TO SIZABLE LEG WOUND WOMAN BLEEDS OUT DUE TO SIZABLE LEG WOUND .As the emergency crew arrived at the scene, they discovered the woman had a stab wound to the leg. HELLS ANGELS EXPLODE in carFor this story, we have to dig deep into a bit of the history of the people involved. Our first person of interest in this story is Vahe Hacopian.Born in 1979, Vahe was several times a convicted drug dealer.Believe it or not, Vahe twice got busted trying to mail drugs thru Australia post.The first time in 2001 when he attempted to send 3kg of Marijuana, via Australia post.He then tried to post them to a Sydney address through the Greenwith post office in the highland village shopping centre, Golden Grove.The drugs were intercepted, Vahe was arrested, and Police also raided his home, finding another eight kilograms of cannabis and two unlicensed firearms. This time, because it was his second similar charge, Vahe ended up with being sentenced to four years and seven months, with a non-parole period of three years.The second person of interest in this story is, Barzan Palani, of Walkley Heights.This known associate of the Hells Angels was due to face some pretty heavy drug charges in April of 2010.He was summonsed to face trial in the District Court, Charged with possession of methamphetamines.He also faced charges, in the Adelaide Magistrates Court, of taking part in the manufacturing of a commercial quantity of a controlled drug.These charges were laid in May of 2009, following the discovery of a Mawson Lakes amphetamines laboratory. He also faced charges of unlawful possession. 80 shots from a military assault rifle HELLS ANGELS EXPLODE in carWe will come back to these two gentlemen, in a minute or two On 21st August 2009, someone fired about 80 shots, from a military assault rifle, at 3 houses.The first home hit was a property, in Railway Terrace at Edwardstown at 4:30 am. About 45 minutes later, more shots from the same weapon were fired into a house in Peppermint road in Lewiston. Then another 15 minutes later, more shots rang out, hitting a home in President Ave, Andrews Farm. All three places were associated with the Hells Angels. Quite a few Angels believed it was Vince Focorelli and the New Boys who were firing at their houses indiscriminately. The big problem was that even though the houses were associated with the Angels, Two of the houses were lived in by families that had nothing to do with the bikie world. Things quietened down for a short while, but all knew Something was brewing. On 9th February 2010, Vahe Hacopian hired a white holden commodore from the Adelaide airport.The following day, just before 5 am, he drove the Holden to Walkley Heights and picked up Barzan Parlarni. It was of the opinion that the two men, were on a mission to plant a bomb, and assassinate Vince Focarelli, but Something went terribly wrong. The men had their homemade bomb sitting on the centre console of the Holden.They drove the car to Truscott Road at suburban Enfield and parked out the front of an unoccupied house. They had parked just around the corner and less than 50 meters from Vince Focorelli’s house in Newton Terrace. It is believed that at 5:20 am, Vahe had undone his seat belt and turned to get out of the vehicle when the bomb went off, instantly killing both men. Vahe’s door was blown off, and his body was blown into the street, landing six meters from the car. Barzan, still in his seat belt, was slumped forward, dead. HELLS ANGELS EXPLODE in car The roof of the car was torn open like a sardine can, and debris was strewn over a 35-meter radius from the explosion. Several close by houses had their windows blown in.The Police immediately swung into action, calling out the bomb squad,

Bikie True Crime Australia Michael (Mousey) Sfyris, born in 1966, was well known to the law, especially when it came to assault. In 1995, Sfyris was locked up in jail on assault charges, when he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He was successfully treated with chemotherapy resulting in a 100% cure. He was soon after released from prison, on bail. KEPT HIS NOSE CLEAN For 12 years, He kept his nose relatively clean until 2010, when his previous partner lodged claims against him, alleging 14 counts of aggravated assault, committed between 2009 and 2010. The alleged offences included manhandling during and after her pregnancy. And that he had taken hold of her by her throat and threatened her with a gun. During the court case for these offences, Sfyris shouted abuse at investigating officers, calling them liars and telling them that it was a huge mistake to be keeping him in jail. DENIED ALL ALLEGATIONS His lawyer told the court, Sfyris vehemently denied all the allegations and questioned why Police had taken so long to lay the charges. Sfyris was released on bail a week later with the charges still pending.April 2010, Sfyris was charged with affray, after he and good friend and fellow bikie Vince Focorelli were seen limbering up outside the pairs jointly owned, Ink Central tattoo parlour, on Hind lee street, in the centre of Adelaide. Bikie True Crime Australia Soon after, some reports say 5, Others claim up to 10 Hells Angels walk up and start attacking Sfyris and Focorelli, punching and beating them. Security vision showed Sfyris using a chair to hit one angel and Focarelli swinging a metal pole at the group. One of the Angels managed to grab the pole from Focorelli and used it to beat him. Focorelli and Sfyris escaped with a few bumps and bruises. When the court case came about, both men pleaded not guilty as they were only defending themselves.The Judge agreed, and both men were released without charge.On November 1st, 2011, Sfyris was celebrating the Melbourne cup at the Highway Inn in Plympton with several other bikies, including once again, Vince Focorelli ANOTHER FIGHT BROKE OUT Another fight broke out, and several people were injured. At least one man was punched in the head, and several bottles and glasses were thrown. Police were called and Sfyris and several other men were arrested.Once again, at the court cases, all charges were dropped due to lack of evidence. The CCTV footage didn't show much of anybody doing anything wrong, and no person was willing to speak out, so everything was dropped. Eventually, Vince Focorelli sued the Police for court costs and won.In December 2011, Sfyris and 2 other fellow bikies walked into a Hind lee Street falafel house, walked straight up to a man seated in the business and started assaulting him. Sfyris gave the man a hiding, Police were called and Sfyris and his 2 accomplices were carted away. I fear God While waiting for his case to appear in court, Sfyris wrote the Judge a letter, painting himself as a devout Muslim, believing that Allah "hears and sees all things". The letter continued, "I am 46 years old, and although not educated, I am life-wise, I am a father who is being denied his right to father. I have not been in prison since I had cancer some 15 years ago. I am very proud of that fact. Contrary to popular belief, I do my best to live a righteous life. I fear God and believe my actions will be judged come Judgment Day.A few months later, the trial, was held via video link, as Sfyris was already serving time for the assaults on his former partner. LISTEN TO THIS STORY HERE Bikie. No matter what path someone may have travelled in the past. Their family still deserve to know what happened to them or at least know where they are, dead or alive. Brought up in a privileged lifestyle until the age of fifteen, Of his two siblings, His sister became a lawyer and his brother a firefighter. Steve was picked on and bullied at school because of dyslexia. On one occasion, Steve lashed out and beat a student senseless. He decided this was a good time to leave the Banksia Park High School. Aged just fifteen and on leaving, he went bush, working on a station in the Flinders ranges. All the time Steve was away from Adelaide, he had thoughts that the kid he had beaten had died or suffered major injuries. On returning to Adelaide, Steve bumped into the kid and was so relieved that he hadn't seriously hurt him. Steve apologised, and all was forgotten ODD JOBS TO BIKIE Over the next couple of years, he did odd jobs and hung around people in the bikie scene. Eventually buying his own bike and joined the Gypsy Jokers. In 1992, Steve and his then partner, Kim, had a baby girl. They named her Blayze. A couple of years later, the couple went their separate ways as Kim had enough of the biker lifestyle. Half the time wondering if the next guy they saw was going to try and kill kidnap or injure her and daughter Blayze. Because of Steves lifestyle choices. In 2001 on the Gypsy jokers annual run, the first leg of the ride ended in the south Australian town of Beachport, 380 km south-south-east of Adelaide. There had never been any trouble on any of the Gypsy Jokers previous runs, but this one was different. TACTICAL RESPONSE GROUP The South Australian Police’s new branch was the TACTICAL RESPONSE GROUP. The TRG were not far away in another town on a totally unrelated matter.The TRG sort a reason to prove their existence was warranted. 100 odd bikies in a small country town was reason enough.The commissioner of police, or the deputy commissioner ( both of them denied they placed the call) ordered the TRG to Beachport.Over the next couple of hours, the police force swarmed to over 180 officers. The police tried everything they could to provoke a fight but nothing was working. SO HARD IT BROKE HIS JAW The cops, fined a couple of Jokers for speeding and one for noise pollution. Still the Jokers would not fight back, they were all having too much fun inside the hotel. Next thing, Under orders from their commander, One of the police walked up and kicked a harley over. The noms that were out on the verandah keeping eyes on things, went inside and informed the jokers what the Police had done. Next thing you know, The Jokers were streaming out of the pub and commenced punching on with the cops. Steve managed to find the commander in the middle of this affray, punched the commander so hard it broke his jaw, Steve then picked up the commanders hat and wore it for the rest of the fight. The fight continued for a couple of minutes, but even though the cops outnumbered the bikies almost 2 to one, The Bikies unmistakably won the fight, with the cops limping away with their tail between their legs

BORA ALTINTAS FINKS BIKIE COLD-BLOODED EXECUTION ON THE STREETThis is the story of a FINKS MCC associate and Boxing state titleholder, gunned down in the street, Twice. Bora Altintas was one of those who found crime, everywhere he went,Born in Turkey on 20 October 1967, a young brother to Lora.Bora, Lora and their parents moved to Australia, and that's when the crimes of Bora began.He had been in constant trouble with the law since he was a young child.Dragged before the Children's Court on numerous occasions. All threats of detention and any punishments handed out proved fruitless.As an adult, his early rap sheet included. Escape from custody, wilful damage, resisting arrest, unlawful possession, shop breaking and theft, and possessing Indian hemp. FIRST PRISON TERM His first prison term began in 1986 when the then 19-year-old Bora and two friends broke into a bookmaker shop. Waited for the owner to return and threatened the owner with a baseball bat and a toy pistol. Making off with more than $13,000The bookmaker recognised the young men, and it wasn't long before the courts charged Bora with armed robbery. The court case was in November 1986. Bora received a sentence of two years and six months imprisonment, with a non-parole period of twelve months,Paroled after 12 monthsThe next major crime added to his wrap sheet was in March 1989, for selling 191 grams of heroin in three separate deals. While in prison on remand awaiting his court trial, he assaulted two correctional officers. When he did make it to court, he received an additional five years for each count of heroin dealing, added on top of the remainder of his armed robbery charges, a further seven months added for the Assault on the guards. The final judgement and sentence. Eleven years and four months incarceration with a non-parole period of 8 years. Later reduced to five years on appeal, taken from the time of the original crime of Armed Robbery, back in 1986. BACKED BY THE FINKS On his release in 1992, he took up professional boxing, backed by the Finks MCC.His fighting career only lasted two and a half years, but he certainly made his mark. His first professional Fight, on 26 April 1992, held at the Old Lion hotel againstNew Zealander, Moses Ulai. This Fight was also Moses's first professional Fight, which Bora won via a technical knockout in the third round. For this time of year in Adelaide, It was Unusually cold when the daily maximum only reached 22 degrees Celcius. Earlier in the day, just after 7 am. Firefighters from the Salisbury Command Fire Station in Adelaide's northern suburbs. Received a dispatch call to attend a house fire in Parafield Gardens. They had been sent to a house, on fire, on Jackson Street, some 8km away. Jackson street was your typical suburban street for this part of Australia. A quiet street with just 23 single level houses on it, located 21km north of the centre of Adelaide. When the fire responders arrived at the address, they had found a house engulfed in flames.  SCENE THEY WILL NEVER FORGET Once the firefighters extinguished the fire. Inside the chard remains, the responders found a grisly scene that no one will ever forget. The mother of the house, 31-year-old Meredith Pearce, was in her bedroom. She was bound and tied up to a chair. Forced into her mouth was a torn section of a blue towel.
