Description

The podcast I've been ideating on forever, a place where my stream of consciousness can flow. Touching on all things; from hockey to history, to true crime and how it always relates in one way or another back to mental health. I make analogies, and I speak my mind. And it's taken a few decades to get here, but I'm better than every and will get better every. single. day. Come along, let's build something together.

mental health issues as a youth?
2022/06/28
PBS just released a documentary about mental health and it’s affects on youth. It’s opened up a whole new conversation in my head and I encourage you to check it out. ‘In Plain Sight.’

the power is back on
2022/06/24
Hey y’all it’s been a minute but the power is back on!
#8-Taylor Swift, my first password
2021/11/12
Taylor Swift (for the SEO), had everything to do with all of my passwords when I was young. 15 years later, I can relate to her on a whole new level. #StoryTelling. Check out my latest podcast, uncut and unedited. That doesn't mean it's dirty, it just means I recorded and uploaded in under an hour.
#7: #75Hard Recap ish
2021/09/10
I finished #75Hard. I learned a lot about myself. I learned that I'm capable of a lot. I learned that I have the greatest wife who ever lived. I learned that I have several great friends. I learned that I had several fake friends. I learned not to give a F#$%. And I learned that we're all capable of awesome shit.
#6- Happy Birthday to Me
2021/08/31
Birthdays have always been love/hate for me. I'm not good at receiving gifts or praise, believe it or now. And this year especially, I don't feel like I deserve any special attention. BUT, after the year I had of extreme growth, I'm thankful to be where I am. Hard lessons, tough truths, and amazing support. Thanks for the memories 27; onto the next.
#5: Add Value or Shut Up.
2021/08/22
We live in a world where everyone is an 'expert' and everyone's opinion is valid. Maybe so, but it is not your place to know everything or be the one who gets to decide what is true and what is false. Sometimes, it's better to shut up and accept that you don't know.
#4: No sleeves in the gym anymore
2021/08/07
It took a while, but I've found value in knowing that where mental health and physical health intersect is where you begin changing your life. Listen in to hear about how struggles with body image directly impacted my mental health and how committing to myself and putting ME first has changed everything for the better.
#3: Quit Making Excuses...
2021/08/02
How much time would you have saved yourself, in any realm of life, if you quit making excuses and started making progress instead? You're capable of more than you're telling yourself. Listen closely!
#2: You change your life when you show up as you are
2021/07/28
I spent most of my life trying to fit the mold that I thought other people were looking for. My mental health took a backseat. My physical health took a backseat. My closest relationships took a backseat. I thought, very honestly, that if everyone loved me that I would be okay with not completely loving myself. I was wrong. This podcast is inspired by the book 'The Mountain is You' by Brianna Wiest; if you're looking for a book to read, go order it.
#1: What's up? It's Brady!
2021/07/25
I quit caring what you might think of me putting myself out there and I went ahead and recorded myself. This is me and this is my way of being accountable to myself and therapeutically working through my mind. I hope you'll take a listen.
