Why you are afraid to disappoint people?
2026/10/25
Why are we afraid of disappointing people, and how can we stop people-pleasing and live more authentically? In this episode of Spiritual Sense, we explore the psychology of people-pleasing, the fear of rejection, the need for approval, and how to find emotional freedom by letting go of other people's expectations. Why do we feel guilty when we say no? Why do we worry so much about what other people think of us? And why is it sometimes so difficult to put our own needs first without feeling selfish? This conversation explores the deeper reasons behind our fear of disappointing others, including our attachment to approval, our fear of judgment, and the beliefs that shape our relationships and behaviour. Together, we look at how self-awareness, setting healthy boundaries, and spiritual growth can help us break free from people-pleasing, overcome the fear of rejection, and develop a healthier relationship with ourselves and others. In this episode, we explore: Why we are afraid of disappointing people The psychology of people-pleasing and seeking approval How the fear of rejection influences our decisions Why saying no can trigger guilt How to stop worrying about what others think Setting boundaries without feeling selfish Letting go of external validation and other people's expectations Finding inner peace through self-awareness and personal growth At Spiritual Sense, we explore consciousness, spirituality, self-discovery, and the nature of human experience. Our conversations invite you to question familiar patterns, deepen your understanding of yourself, and discover new perspectives on living a more conscious and meaningful life. If you are interested in spirituality, consciousness, emotional intelligence, personal development, and self-awareness, subscribe to Spiritual Sense for more thought-provoking conversations. The question to reflect on: Are you making choices that feel right to you, or are you living in fear of how other people might react? #SpiritualSense #PeoplePleasing #SelfAwareness #Spirituality #PersonalGrowth
The voice that says you are not good enough
2026/10/18
Have you ever noticed that the harshest voice in your life can sometimes be the one inside your own head? That inner critic tells you that you're not good enough, that you're falling behind, or that you don't deserve the happiness and success you want. Over time, these thoughts can become so familiar that you start believing they define who you are. But what if that voice isn't telling you the truth? In this episode of Spiritual Sense, we explore the inner critic, the stories we tell ourselves, and how negative self-talk can shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us. Discover how to recognize these thoughts without automatically believing them, create distance from old patterns, and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself. You don't have to fight every thought that enters your mind. Sometimes, the first step toward freedom is simply realizing that a thought is not a fact, and the voice in your head does not define your worth. You are more than the story you tell yourself. If this resonates with you, please like the video, share it with someone who needs to hear this message, and subscribe to Spiritual Sense for more conversations about mindfulness, self-awareness, and spiritual growth. Learning how to stop reacting to difficult people is one of the most powerful steps you can take towards emotional freedom. In this episode, we explore: Why certain people trigger strong emotional reactions. How to recognise your emotional patterns. The difference between reacting and responding. Wake up from your old story
2026/09/27
What if the story you've been telling yourself about who you are isn't the whole truth? We all carry stories from our past — about what we're capable of, what we deserve, what happened to us, and who we believe we have to be. Over time, those stories can become so familiar that we stop questioning them. But your past doesn't have to become your identity. Changing your life can begin with recognising the stories you've been repeating and asking whether they still belong to the person you're becoming. You don't have to deny your past. You don't have to pretend difficult things didn't happen. But you can choose to stop allowing an old story to define your future. Sometimes awakening means realising that the chapter you're living from is no longer the chapter you're in.
Love your parts - stop fighting with ego
2026/09/20
Love Your Parts — Stop Fighting With Ego What if you didn't have to fight the parts of yourself you don't like? We often treat our fear, anger, insecurity, doubt, and difficult emotions as things we need to get rid of. We fight them, judge them, and try to become someone we're not. But inner peace doesn't necessarily come from defeating these parts of ourselves. It can come from understanding them. Your ego isn't something you have to destroy. It's a part of your experience that has developed to protect you, make sense of the world, and keep you feeling safe. The more you fight yourself, the more inner conflict you create. Instead, try becoming curious about what you're feeling. Notice the thought without immediately believing it. Give yourself permission to experience the emotion without allowing it to control you. You can acknowledge every part of yourself without letting every part run your life. Sometimes healing begins when you stop asking, "How do I get rid of this part of me?" And start asking, "What is this part trying to show me?" #SpiritualSense #Ego #SelfAwareness #InnerPeace #SelfAcceptance #SpiritualGrowth #Mindfulness #PersonalGrowth #InnerHealing #Consciousness
What If You Don't Have to Work So Hard?
2026/09/13
What If You Don't Have to Work So Hard? What if the answer isn't always to work harder? We can become so used to pushing, striving, achieving, and trying to keep everything under control that we forget another possibility exists: slowing down. Sometimes we believe that if we stop pushing, everything will fall apart. We convince ourselves that our worth comes from how much we accomplish, how productive we are, or how much we can carry. But constantly pushing yourself doesn't necessarily mean you're moving in the right direction. There is a difference between dedication and exhaustion. Between purposeful effort and endlessly trying to prove yourself. Sometimes clarity comes when you stop forcing. Sometimes the next step becomes visible when you finally give yourself permission to pause. You don't have to earn your right to rest. You don't have to be productive every moment. And you don't have to carry everything alone. Perhaps the question isn't "How much harder can I work?" Perhaps it's "What would happen if I stopped fighting so hard?" #SpiritualSense #Overworking #InnerPeace #Mindfulness #PersonalGrowth #SpiritualGrowth #SelfAwareness #WorkLifeBalance #LetGo #MentalClarity
Stop Giving Away Your Power
2026/09/06
Stop Giving Away Your Power How often do you give your power away without even realising it? Every time you allow someone else's opinion to determine your worth, someone else's behaviour to control your peace, or someone else's approval to decide how you feel about yourself, you hand over a part of your inner power. But your power was never meant to live in other people's hands. Spiritual growth is often about coming back to yourself — recognising what you can control, releasing what you cannot, and choosing not to let external circumstances dictate your inner state. You don't need everyone to understand you. You don't need everyone's approval. And you don't need to keep explaining yourself to prove your worth. Sometimes reclaiming your power simply means becoming still, becoming aware, and remembering who you are beneath all the noise. Your peace is yours. Your choices are yours. Your energy is yours. Stop giving it away. #SpiritualSense #InnerPower #SelfAwareness #InnerPeace #SpiritualGrowth #PersonalGrowth #SelfWorth #Mindfulness #LetGo #Boundaries
Why your mind won't leave you alone
2026/08/30
Why does your mind keep talking, analysing, replaying conversations, imagining what could go wrong, and searching for answers even when you desperately want to switch off? Sometimes the problem isn't that you think too much — it's that you've never learned how to step out of the constant conversation happening inside your mind. In this episode of Spiritual Sense, we explore why the mind can become so relentless, what may be underneath overthinking and mental noise, and how you can begin creating space between yourself and your thoughts. You don't have to believe every thought that enters your mind. You don't have to solve everything right now. And you don't have to fight your mind to find peace. Sometimes, peace begins when you simply stop engaging with every thought. ✨ In this episode: • Why your mind keeps searching for answers • The connection between overthinking and inner unrest • Why trying to control every thought can make things worse • How awareness can create distance from mental noise • Learning to be present instead of constantly analysing • Finding stillness when your mind won't slow down If this resonates with you, like, subscribe and share with someone who needs to hear this today. #SpiritualSense #Overthinking #Mindfulness #InnerPeace #SpiritualAwakening #MentalPeace #SelfAwareness #PersonalGrowth
The hidden cause of overthinking
2026/08/23
Why do we overthink so much, even when we know it isn't helping? Sometimes overthinking isn't really about the problem in front of us. Beneath the endless thoughts, questions, doubts and “what ifs” can be a deeper need for control, certainty or emotional safety. In this episode of Spiritual Sense, we explore the hidden cause of overthinking and why your mind may keep pulling you into the same cycles. More importantly, we look at how you can step out of those patterns and reconnect with a deeper sense of peace. You don't have to believe every thought that enters your mind. Sometimes the path forward begins when you stop trying to control every possible outcome — and learn to trust yourself, life and the present moment. ✨ In this episode: • Why your mind keeps overthinking • The hidden fear underneath constant analysis • Why seeking certainty can create more anxiety • How overthinking disconnects you from the present • Moving from mental control to inner trust • Finding peace without needing all the answers Subscribe to Spiritual Sense for more conversations on spirituality, consciousness, healing and personal growth. #SpiritualSense #Overthinking #Spirituality #InnerPeace #PersonalGrowth #Mindfulness #SelfAwareness
How to Stop Overworking When You Cannot Switch Off
2026/08/16
Do you ever feel like you’re constantly doing something, but never truly resting? Even when the work is finished, your mind keeps going. You’re thinking about what needs to be done next, checking your phone, planning, worrying, or feeling guilty for taking time for yourself. In this episode of Spiritual Sense, we explore why switching off can be so difficult and what may be happening beneath the surface of our constant need to stay busy. Sometimes overworking isn’t just about ambition. It can be connected to our need to feel valuable, productive, in control, or needed. We can become so identified with what we achieve that simply being still starts to feel uncomfortable. But rest isn't laziness. Slowing down isn't failure. And your worth isn't determined by how much you accomplish. This conversation explores how to recognise the signs that you're pushing yourself too far, how to create healthier boundaries with work, and how to reconnect with yourself when life has become a constant cycle of doing. If your mind struggles to switch off, this episode offers a chance to pause, reflect, and consider whether you really need to do more—or whether you simply need permission to rest. You don't have to spend your entire life trying to catch up with it. Sometimes the most important thing you can do is stop. Listen, reflect, and join the conversation on Spiritual Sense. Hand over your worries to God

I’ve Read So Many Spiritual Books… So Why Am I Still Stuck
2026/07/12
You've read the books. You've listened to the podcasts. You've watched countless videos on spirituality, mindfulness, and personal growth. So why does it still feel like nothing has really changed? In this powerful episode of Spiritual Sense, Michael McIntosh and Sister Shireen explore one of the biggest misconceptions on the spiritual path: the belief that more knowledge automatically leads to transformation. While wisdom can inspire us, true growth only happens when we begin to live what we've learned. Together, they discuss why so many people become trapped in a cycle of consuming spiritual content without experiencing lasting inner change. They reveal the difference between intellectual understanding and embodied wisdom, and how simple daily practice can create the breakthroughs you've been searching for. If you've ever felt like you're doing "all the right things" but still feel anxious, disconnected, or stuck in old patterns, this conversation may provide the perspective shift you've been looking for. In this episode you'll discover: Why spiritual knowledge alone doesn't create transformation. The hidden trap of consuming too much self-help content. The difference between knowing the truth and living it. How to break free from spiritual stagnation. Practical ways to embody wisdom in everyday life. Why awareness without action keeps us stuck. The simple habits that lead to lasting inner peace. If this episode resonates with you, please like, subscribe, and share it with someone who may need this message. Your support helps us continue creating conversations that inspire greater awareness, compassion, and spiritual growth. #SpiritualSense #SpiritualGrowth #SelfAwareness #Mindfulness #InnerPeace #PersonalGrowth #Consciousness #Meditation #Wisdom #Healing #SelfDiscovery #Podcast #Awakening
