The Science Behind Why Sensitive People Feel Everything So Deeply/ Part 1
2026/06/09
What if the thing you've spent your life trying to fix is actually one of your greatest strengths? In today's episode, we explore the science behind sensitivity, empathy, compassion, and the highly sensitive nervous system. We'll discuss why some people experience emotions more intensely, why they notice things others miss, and how sensitivity influences relationships, healing, creativity, and emotional well-being. We'll also explore the difference between sensitivity and trauma, why safe connection is essential for healing, and what modern neuroscience is teaching us about the brain's remarkable ability to change. My upcoming book series, Becoming Sensitive Again, is almost here. 📖 Volume One: Understanding the Wounds That Shaped Us — July 14, 2026📖 Volume Two: How Safe Connection Heals Our Relationship to Self — August 11, 2026 These books bring together seven years of research, personal experience, interviews, attachment theory, neuroscience, and trauma recovery to answer one question: What happens when we stop trying to become less sensitive and start learning how to feel safe enough to be ourselves? Special AnnouncementIf you've ever felt misunderstood because of how deeply you feel, this episode is for you Follow for updates on the book launch : https://exposenetwork.weebly.com/transformed-journey.html Check My documentary series on relationships: Yhttps://www.youtube.com/@ExposeNetwork22

These awe-inspiring tales will motivate you to take action and make a difference in your own life. So tune in and be ready to be inspired! Don't forget to subscribe and leave a review to help us spread the word. LEARN MORE HERE In this episode, I talk about the importance of self-worth and how changing the meaning of past experiences can improve our lives. I share how as a little girl, I blamed myself for my father's absence and believed I was unworthy of love. I chose emotionally unavailable partners, punishing them for my dad's death. I also talk about how being a highly sensitive person seeking attention and approval from others led me to suppress my feelings, which caused negative patterns, self-rejection, and body shame. However, through my journey, I found solace in spirituality and a connection to something greater than myself. I learned the power of self-reflection and changing the meaning I gave to past experiences. I also discovered the importance of listening to my inner self and prioritizing my well-being.   I believe that everyone has the power to shape their own lives and choose how they interpret their experiences. It's crucial to give ourselves time and space to listen to our inner selves and learn to express our feelings healthily.    I invite you to tune in to this episode, where I share my story and insights that I hope will inspire and empower you. Thank you for your support, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the episode.
