As parents, do we actively listen enough? Do we make time to really be present and give quality responses to our kids? How often do we get it wrong and rush responses or give hurried and bad advice? Do we listen to talk? This episode explores the reality that even though we are often preoccupied and busy, we should really be making space to hear our children. Arranging to talk at less stressful times of the day or admitting when we've gotten it wrong, apologising and putting things right all show our children that we respect them and in turn how we would like to be treated too.
