The Mark of the Beast in the Book of Esther
2021/10/10
"The true believer cannot obey decrees or conform to fashions, which break the law of God. He must obey God rather than man, and leave the consequences to him. Haman was full of wrath. His device was inspired by that wicked spirit, who has been a murderer from the beginning; whose enmity to Christ and his church, governs all his children"(MHBC 430)
A very black and mournful scene here opens, and which threatens the ruin of all the people of God. Were there not some such dark nights, the light of the morning would not be so welcome. I. Haman is made the king's favourite (v. 1). II. Mordecai refuses to give him the honour he demands (v. 2-4). III. Haman, for his sake, vows to be revenged upon all the Jews (v. 5, 6). IV. He, upon a malicious suggestion, obtains an order from the king to have the all massacred upon a certain day (v. 7-13). V. This order is dispersed through the kingdom (v. 14, 15).

Anthony's Testimony
2021/10/06
God Is Love Ministries: “Sharing (or giving) a testimony” in is telling someone else about your relationship with God.
In Acts 13:15 Paul tells us, “If you have a message of encouragement for the people, please speak.” When the opportunity arises for you to talk to someone about your faith, “please speak.”
Some people have an easier time than others speaking about their faith journeys. If you find sharing comes easy for you, do so freely. You will find many times to speak a word of encouragement to others.
Don’t be embarrassed or apologetic if this is difficult for you. This is an opportunity to share your story – one you are familiar with.
Think of a time in your life (and there will be many) that you felt helpless or alone and God came and filled the gap in your life. Look for ways to share that in conversation. If a friend laments about a problem similar to one you faced, empathize, then tell how God helped you find a solution. Finding that connecting point opens the door for your testimony to be received.
2 Corinthians 3:3 says, “You are a letter from Christ…written not with ink but with the Spirit of the Living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”
Even if you never say a word or write a note, you are sharing your testimony by what you do and the way you live. People are watching you as you navigate each day. They see how you respond to difficulty and adversity, and that speaks loudly all who are observing what you do.

Do You Trust God?
2021/10/03
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. Proverbs 3:5-7
We can learn to trust God. Think of a friend you trust—someone that you would let watch your children or share a deep personal secret with. Why do you trust them? How did you learn to trust them? I would imagine it’s because of a few key factors.
You know them personally.
You know they are dependable.
You know they are for you.
You know them personally
The Bible talks about how much God desires a close personal relationship with each of us. He’s not a distant God, trying to play hard to get in the clouds. He pursues us and loves us and wants to be known by us.
You know they are dependable
Our God is a God who comes through for you. Not every now and then. Every. Single. Time. God doesn’t come through for you because you deserve it or because you’ve been good. God comes through for you because that’s who He is. Remember when God’s been faithful to you before and let that build your confidence in Him. You can trust God because He’s faithful.
You know they are for you
“For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” — Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT)
God loves you, and He likes you. He’s in your corner, and He wants the very best for you. When you remember how He feels about you, it becomes a lot easier to trust Him and His plans for you.

They Overcame Him By The Blood of the Lamb
2021/09/05
Revelation makes a prophecy that there will be Christians who overcome the devil by the "blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony" Rev 12:11. How do we make this prophecy come true in our lives? Find out in this episode.
Fig Leaves
2021/08/20
They saw that they were naked — That is, that they were stripped, deprived of all the honors and joys of their paradise state, and exposed to all the miseries that might justly be expected from an angry God; laid open to the contempt and reproach of heaven, and earth, and their own consciences. And they sewed, or platted fig leaves together — And, to cover at least part of their shame one from another, made themselves aprons — See here what is commonly the folly of those that have sinned: they are more solicitous to save their credit before men, than to obtain their pardon from God!
The history of every temptation, and of every sin, is the same; the outward object of attraction, the inward commotion of mind, the increase and triumph of passionate desire; ending in the degradation, slavery, and ruin of the soul (Jas 1:15; 1Jo 2:16).
Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, was “slain from the foundation of the world.” Sin is what necessitated the death of the Lord and therefore sin occurred at the foundation of the world – known to us as the six days of creation.
We look around us and see death, troubles, misery, and pain, but God sees a plan that will bring many sons to glory and one which is worth the cost to have creatures that can appreciate the greatness of His marvelous plan. Never underestimate the immense glory of what God has done and is doing in this on-going bubble of time and space!
Today, God is inviting you to give your worries to Him. He promises to uphold you and come to your aid. He is with you. He says to you… “‘Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” (The Bible, Isaiah 41:10)
Don’t make excuses, just humble yourself and come to Jesus…
Walking on Water
2021/08/17
God Is Love Ministries:
The Lord says, “Call upon me in the day of trouble. I’m the one who delivers, rescues, and redeems. And I will do it.”
As promised in Joel 2:42, Acts 2:21, and Romans 10:13, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” The Lord does just what He promises, and in so doing His name is glorified.
The Israelites saw the delivering power of God when He brought them out of slavery in Egypt and into the land promised to Abraham.
The deliverance from Egypt points to the greater deliverance from sin, death, and hell. Jesus died on the cross and rose again on the third day to fulfill the ultimate rescue mission. All who call upon Christ for deliverance will not be turned away.
