Hi, my name is Evelyn and I’ve experienced quite a lot of trauma throughout my life. But it doesn’t end there. I’m currently battling newfound trauma, in addition to my childhood trauma. In my search for help, I’ve realized that trauma is a subject matter society chooses to keep in the dark. Something that you work on and “keep to yourself.” Not anymore! To that I say, “Let’s Trauma-Bout It!” No judgments. True stories. Most importantly, a safe space to talk about trauma and leave feeling like a weight has been lifted off of your shoulders. Let’s stick together and grow together!

Living/Leaving Paradise(?) Part 1

Surprise, surprise we are moving back home to Tampa, FL! Goodbye Key Largo, FL! In this first episode, I'll be covering our time (almost 6 years!) living down here in the Florida Keys and cover what started off as an exciting start to our new move into an unexpected and depressing turn of events. Follow me down the rabbit hole of my time here in what many call "paradise" and what it was truly like to live here! Part 2 coming soon!

This episode continues where I left off on episode one about my mom who’s been the biggest contributor to my trauma. I go into what it was like growing up with her, her denial, forms of trauma she inflicted upon my siblings and I, and my final opinion of what I think will happen with our relationship in the future. I know I’m not the only person who has mommy issues, so hopefully someone can relate to my story.
