This project is a partnership between RTÉ, the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, and University College Cork's Atlas of the Great Irish Famine.

We meet an American “relief worker”, who describes her experiences while living in Ireland during the Famine. The Relief Worker is played by Anne Byrne.
5. The Mother's Story

A destitute young mother describes the horror of being evicted. The young Mother is played by Aisling Kearns.
6. The Emigrant's Story
2021/08/30
We meet a young Irish Emigrant, who has a rude awakening in Liverpool. The Emigrant is played by Caitriona Ennis.
