In this episode we introduce James. James started out in a strict Jehovah Witness family, brought up with a lot of violence in the house, it gave him a grounding and extreme stress tolerance which meant crime was not as intimidating as it would be to the rest of us. We continue season 3 and our exploration of the shadow with Ross Bowden. Ross is a former Royal Marine and I sat down to chat about his experience of becoming a Marine. In this episode we introduce the concept of the shadow or the shadow personality. First brought to prominence by Carl Jung, the idea is based around there being a darker side lies within us all. You only have to look the fascination the public has with psychopaths, serial killers and gangsters to get a glimpse into this.
