First (finally)  podcast !! For my first podcast, I've picked out a  hot topic especially at this time of the year.  I'm sure you have noticed that contents to do with sun safety, predominantly talks about precautions and prevention. However, one important point that gets toned down and what I will be discussing in my first podcast is to do with Vitamin D. Yes, sun rays are to be protected from, but we cannot neglect the fact that this is also a source of  Vitamin D.  One hand we are advised to protect from the sun and the other hand to spend more time in the sun to promote its synthesis. How do we strike a balance between these two theories? This is what I wish to explore a bit in this podcast. Along with a brief introduction to vitamin D and different types of Vitamin D available. I will also touch upon its pluses and minuses and a bit of pharmacology.
