Martine Brisson | You're Not Broken: Anxiety, Forgiveness & Emotional Freedom
2026/10/23
What if you didn't have to be afraid of your own feelings? In this episode of Coach-2-Coach, Greg Fisher sits down with coach and hypnotherapist Martine Brisson to explore anxiety, trauma, forgiveness, and the freedom that comes from understanding our experience differently. Drawing on her years of working with people facing emotional challenges, Martine shares how she combines coaching, hypnosis, and an understanding of the Three Principles to support her clients. They discuss why forgiveness is about freeing ourselves rather than excusing another person's actions, how our thoughts can shape our experience, and why difficult feelings don't mean there's something wrong with us. You'll also hear a memorable cannonball metaphor, a conversation about creating trust with clients, and Martine's invitation to stop resisting our emotions. A thoughtful conversation for coaches and anyone interested in emotional wellbeing, personal growth, and living with greater freedom. Learn more about Martine at martinbrisson.com. Life’s Got Your Back with Mama J (Jacqueline Hollows)
2026/09/17
In this episode of Coach-2-Coach, Greg Fisher talks with Jacqueline Hollows, affectionately known as Mama J, about following life's breadcrumbs, recognizing your own genius, and trusting the next step. Mama J shares the remarkable story of how a piece of paper found among her late father's belongings introduced her to Michael Neill and the world of coaching. That first breadcrumb eventually led from a career in IT to addiction recovery work, the Three Principles, and the creation of Beyond Recovery, which brought a new understanding of wellbeing into UK prisons. She talks about building a £90,000 prison pilot when she didn't yet have a business, following each step without needing to know where it would lead, and the transformations that followed. We also explore what happened when that chapter of her life came to an end, the challenge of letting go of the identity of being "the prison lady," her work helping coaches and accomplished women follow what they genuinely want, and the "genius thread" she believes runs throughout our lives. Mama J also shares the story behind her memoir, Wing of an Angel, and leaves us with a beautifully simple reminder: Life's got your back. Take the next step and let life show you what's next. You’re Only One Thought Away with Maureen York

In this episode of Coach-2-Coach, Greg Fisher talks with coach Maureen York about listening, innate wellbeing and the simplicity at the heart of transformational coaching. Maureen shares how she discovered she'd effectively been coaching for years before she ever knew to call it coaching, and how that natural ability to listen and create space eventually became her full-time practice. They explore why Maureen works with people rather than labels, how an understanding of the Three Principles transformed her own experience, and the distinction between being well and knowing that our wellbeing is innate. Maureen also shares stories from her coaching practice, including a client who came to her wanting to find true love, and discusses the growing role of AI in coaching and why she sees technology as an addition to, rather than a replacement for, genuine human connection. The conversation ends with Maureen's simple invitation: You're only ever one thought away from having a perfect day. Learn more about Maureen and her work at maureenyork.com.
