In today’s episode of Solace™, our host Mystery Onka Itumeleng reminds us that God sees, God knows, and “He is a very-present help in the time of trouble.” Psalm 46 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." The reality is that there will be difficult times, but God promises to be our refuge. With everything going on in the world today—the wildfires, the racial upheaval, the unrest in the Middle East, the hurricanes, the massacre of innocent people in Afghanistan, the earthquakes, the political conflict —“When buildings [are] crumbling and our world is shaken. God has not failed us. He has promised to be with us in the middle of tragedy. We sometimes think that when we find ourselves in difficult circumstances, God has abandoned us, but this is not the case.” He cares, He cares, He cares…He always cares! Commit to the Lord whatever you do, And he will establish your plans. The Lord works out everything to its proper end—even the wicked for a day of disaster. Proverbs 16:3-4
