Today Pastor Todd discusses the individual encounters of various people with Jesus after His resurrection, and the transformative impact these encounters had. He references 1 Corinthians 15 as the main scripture for his sermon and then focuses on Jesus' appearance to two travelers on the road to Emmaus as described in Luke 24. Pastor Todd emphasizes that the travelers' recognition of Jesus was a profound experience that ignited their faith and compelled them to share the news of Jesus' resurrection with the apostles. He explores how some of the closest disciples doubted the news of Jesus' resurrection at first, even when the news came directly from Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and the mother of James. Despite the skepticism, Peter chose to investigate the news himself. Upon finding the empty tomb, Peter marvels at the event, showing a significant shift in his belief. Pastor Todd shows us how encounters with the resurrected Savior can deeply impact and transform our faith and bring others to a new faith in Jesus.

Pastor Todd teaches us today about the significance of the blood of Jesus, based on the Christian faith. He dives deep into multiple Biblical scriptures and narratives, starting from the book of Genesis, where blood first appears in the context of the story of Cain and Abel. Pastor Todd also addresses the Christian narrative around blood offering, specifically in the case of Abel, and explore why God chose Abel's offering over Cain's. He also shows us the symbolic representation of blood as both life and a voice that cries out to God, using the narratives from the times of Noah, the aftermath of the flood, and the liberation of the Hebrews from Egypt. All of these things set the stage for understanding the significance of Jesus' blood in our Christian faith.

Pastor Rick Evans highlights Jesus' words to the people on the hillside the day that Jesus preached His sermon from the Mount. He tells them that they are the Salt and light of the world. Likely not everyone grasped this. However, there are people who when they hear the Word of the Lord and press in in worship feel the truth and life of Spirit of God. There is something that affects them. Let's listen in to learn more.

Pastor Todd Mozingo shares with us a "Positive Warning", a reminder, an attempt to refocus us on what is important. "Sometimes we, as believers, worship God for how He worships us." Listen in to learn what this means.
