Don’t Assume You Have More Time
2026/10/18
We make plans, follow routines, and assume there will be more time for what matters most. But what if that assumption is shaping our faith and our relationships? In Luke 3, John the Baptist calls people to turn from sin, trust the coming Savior, and let that change show up in everyday life. This message explores why faith cannot be inherited, how turning toward God changes our choices, and why Jesus’ return gives us a reason to share His hope with others. Listen and consider one person you could lovingly point toward Jesus this week.
Who Did Jesus Say He Was?
2026/10/12
What did Jesus say about who He was? At twelve years old, His first recorded words offer a revealing answer. Through the story of Mary and Joseph finding Jesus in the temple, this message explores His identity as the Son of God and His mission to save us from our sins. It also asks a personal question: do we know Jesus, or do we simply know facts about Him? Listen and discover how learning about Jesus can lead us to love Him more and put our faith into practice.
When Life Doesn’t Go as Planned
2026/10/05
What do you do when life looks nothing like you imagined? The familiar story of Jesus’ birth includes difficult circumstances we often overlook. In Luke 2:1–20, we explore the manger, the shepherds, and the hope Jesus brings into an unsettled world. This message reminds us that difficult circumstances do not automatically mean we have failed God. Whether you’re facing disappointment in your relationships, work, or health, listen for encouragement to welcome Jesus into the mess and find peace in his presence.
The Tender Mercy of God in Luke 1:57–80
2026/09/27
Life moves quickly. Between crowded schedules, constant information, and everyday responsibilities, it can be difficult to slow down long enough to recognize what God is doing. Luke 1:57–80 invites us to stop, reflect, and see one truth woven throughout the story of John the Baptist’s birth: God is merciful. After Elizabeth gives birth to John, her family and neighbors recognize God’s mercy and rejoice with her. They ponder what they have witnessed and ask what God might do through this child. When Zechariah’s speech is restored, his first response is praise. Filled with the Holy Spirit, he looks beyond his own circumstances to the coming Savior. Jesus is the promised Redeemer who comes to save, forgive sins, and bring light to those living in darkness. God does not offer salvation because we have earned it. He acts because of His “tender mercy.” In Christ, forgiveness is complete, and those who have been saved are called to serve Him. Like John, followers of Jesus can help prepare the way for others to encounter the Savior who brings light, forgiveness, and hope.
When Life Feels Impossible
2026/09/21
What do you do when a situation feels impossible? When relationships are strained, money is tight, or your own strength runs out, trusting God can be hard. In Luke 1, two unexpected birth announcements reveal God’s power and invite two different responses: doubt and trust. Through the stories of Zechariah, Elizabeth, and Mary, this message explores why nothing is too hard for God—and how we can bring our hardest situations to Him. Listen and consider what it would look like to trust God with the challenge you’re facing today.
Why Trust Luke? | Evidence Behind the Gospel’s Account of Jesus
2026/09/14
Questions and doubts do not have to weaken faith; they can become an invitation to examine the truth more carefully. Luke was not one of Jesus’ original disciples, but he approached the story of Jesus as a physician, historian, and careful investigator. Drawing from eyewitness testimony, he compiled an orderly account so that readers could have confidence in what they had been taught. Yet Luke offers more than historical evidence. His Gospel presents a vivid portrait of Jesus as the Savior who sees people others overlook, welcomes those burdened by sin, and seeks those who are lost. Jesus extends grace to the sinful woman at Simon’s table, calls Zacchaeus out of isolation, and ultimately gives His life so that undeserving people can receive salvation as a gift. This confidence in Jesus also leads to discipleship. Following Him means more than agreeing with His claims; it means placing Him first and learning to live with His compassion, loyalty, and concern for others. Whether someone is questioning Christianity, returning after being wounded, or growing complacent in familiar faith, Luke invites every reader to look closely at Jesus, receive His grace with joy, and follow Him with renewed certainty.
The Way Forward | How to Keep Following Jesus When the Path Is Unclear
2026/09/07
It is easy to move through life without knowing whether we are actually headed in the right direction. We can follow our instincts, let our past define us, or allow the values around us to determine where we are going. Philippians 3:12–4:1 offers a different way forward: keep looking to Christ and keep pressing toward the life to which He has called us. Paul makes clear that becoming a Christian is not the finish line. Because Christ has made us His own, we pursue Him—not to earn His love, but because He first pursued us. We can leave both our accomplishments and failures behind, trusting the mercy and grace of Jesus as He continues to transform us. That pursuit also changes where we find our identity. Our citizenship is in heaven, so the culture around us does not have the final word about who we are or where we belong. We may not see the entire road ahead, but we know the One leading us. Our hope rests in Christ, who will return, transform His people, and bring them home. Until then, Paul’s instruction is simple: stand firm in the Lord.
What Does the Bible Actually Say About Women Pastors?
2026/08/24
Few Bible passages create as much tension as 1 Timothy 2:12. Does it mean women cannot lead, teach, or use their gifts? In this message, Pastor Eric walks through the larger context of Paul’s words to Timothy and explains Trinity’s understanding of the roles of men and women in the church. Along the way, he makes an important distinction: men and women are equal in value, significance, and worth, while Scripture gives them different responsibilities within the gathered church. This message also explores the many ways God uses women to teach, disciple, serve, lead, and share the good news of Jesus.
Algorithms | How Social Media Shapes Your Attention, Faith, and Spiritual Formation
2026/08/17
Every time you scroll, watch, click, or follow, something is competing for your attention—and that attention is shaping you. In this message, we pull back the curtain on how social media algorithms work, why the content in your feed isn’t there by accident, and how hours spent online can influence what you believe, value, and pursue. Technology itself isn’t the enemy. The danger is using it without realizing how it may be forming us. Scripture gives us a better question to ask: Is what I’m giving my attention to helping me follow Jesus, or quietly pulling me somewhere else?
Your Past Is Not the End of Your Story
2026/08/10
Purity culture was meant to help a generation honor God with their sexuality. But along the way, some of its messages left people carrying shame, pride, unrealistic expectations, and the feeling that their past made them damaged goods. This message looks honestly at what purity culture got right, where it caused harm, and why Jesus offers something much better than a pledge or a perfect past. Your story is not over because of what you've done—or what's been done to you.
The Biggest Difference Between Jesus and Islam
2026/08/02
Islam and Christianity have more in common than many people realize. Both talk about one God, prophets, and living a life of faith. But one question changes everything: Who is Jesus? Whether you're curious about Islam, have Muslim friends, or simply want to understand your own faith better, this message will help you think clearly, love people well, and keep Jesus at the center.

2026/07/12
What happens when working harder still is not enough? God Is Filling His City
2026/06/15
What does a house look like when nobody moves in? The walls are there. The roof is solid. But it is lifeless — because it is empty. In Nehemiah 11, God does something practical and beautiful: He fills the city He just rebuilt. And the people who volunteered to show up? They were honored for it. This message is about more than ancient history. It is about where God is at work right now — and what it looks like to actually join Him there. Whether you are figuring out faith, wondering where you fit, or trying to be a better parent, this one is for you.
