Welcome back to Guided by Grace, a Christian podcast! In Episode 13: The Body of Christ , we mark the end of one season and the beginning of a new one in discipleship. After a time of growth, reflection, motherhood, and renewal, we pick up where we left off with being set free in Christ and step into a deeper, more intentional walk within the body of Christ. This episode invites you into a season of maturing in faith, renewing the mind, and learning what it truly means to grow together as believers. Through Scripture and reflection, we explore the importance of the church and why God never intended for us to walk this faith alone. We’re back after an extended period, and I want to apologize for taking so much time off. After facing Covid-19, I was led into a deep emotional healing, learning, and growth stage. I’m still in this stage, but this wouldn’t be an authentic journey if I didn’t tell you the story while I’m going through it. This episode is dedicated to allowing God’s will to be done in situations and times where you wonder, “where is God?” Scriptures: Habakkuk 1:2-4 Psalms 55:16-18 Hebrews 11:1 Jeremiah 29:11 Bible App: https://www.bible.com/app Are you looking for a church home? Today's episode is the third of the series ‘Reading the Bible and Understanding God’s Authority. The main points to take from this are comparing and contrasting fact vs. story, answering questions you get about the Bible, and facts about the Bible you should know. In the world we live in now, false prophets are on the rise, everyone has a say, and the authority’s given to anyone with a voice. But we have chosen God as our voice, and as our foundation, we have faith in Jesus Christ, his son. We are smoothing out the bumps (also known as doubt) in this foundation with absolute fact. This is the second episode of the series reading the ‘Bible and Understanding God’s Authority. The main point to take from this is the definition of authority, examples of authority in the real world, and why I choose to believe God’s word as my ultimate authority, and why I follow it. The word of God was there from the beginning of creation, and his all-knowing authority is what leads to an abundant life. This episode will give insight on how to study the Bible and who God is. We are going to slowly break down the Bible to understand it’s authority in our life. Scripture: Genesis chapter 1-3 Romans 13:1-3
