Emphasis: Worship and Grow
2026/09/29
As we see the facility update taking shape, what does God want the church within those walls to become? As we begin the short series Devoted: Living Out Our Vision, we will spend two weeks in Acts 2:42–47. In this passage, we discover what it means to live as the church God originally designed. Looking to the example of the early church, we’ll begin with two of our four anchor words: Worship and Grow.
Disciples: The Perfect Meal
2026/09/21
Can you imagine being invited to a holiday meal with Jesus? As we continue our series, Encounters with Jesus, we’ll look at a time when Jesus invited his disciples to a Passover meal, as recorded in Matthew 26. As they ate, Jesus taught the disciples that the ancient meal pointed to Him!
Disciples: Caught In The Storm
2026/09/14
One of the most famous encounters with Jesus took place when the disciples were caught in a violent storm while on the Sea of Galilee. As the waves crashed over their boat, they reached a point of desperation and cried out to Jesus. But this familiar story is about more than Jesus calming the storms in our lives. It reveals something profound about the identity of the One who is in the boat with His disciples. In this message we consider how we encounter Jesus as the One who is Lord over the storm, Lord over creation, and Lord over our lives.
Nicodemus: Good, But Not Good Enough
2026/09/07
“Born once, die twice. Born twice, die once.” That may sound like a riddle, but it conveys a deep spiritual truth. As we continue our Encounters with Jesus series, we will turn to John 3 and meet a religious leader who was deeply respected. Yet when he encountered Jesus, he discovered that being good was not good enough - he needed spiritual birth.
The Crucifixion: Is Seeing Believing?
2026/08/31
In this message, we will ask the question, “Is seeing believing?” In this account of Jesus’s crucifixion (Mark 15:22-39), there are individuals who physically witness the same circumstances; however, their responses are drastically different. As we follow Jesus, we likewise encounter two different responses: “For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To some we are an aroma of death leading to death, but to others, an aroma of life leading to life” (2 Cor 2:15-16).
The Leper: A Healing Touch
2026/08/24
In the Old Testament, one name for God is Jehovah Rapha, which means “the Lord your Healer.” Have you ever thought about the many different ways in which God heals? In our current series, Encounters with Jesus, we’ll consider an account from Luke 5. A man with a physical disease comes to Jesus with a desperate request for healing. Jesus's response reminds us that He is not repelled by our needs but moves toward us with grace and compassion. Join us as we reflect upon the ways in which we too can be healed by a touch from the Master’s hand!
Peter: From Failure to Fruitful
2026/08/17
Have you ever wondered if failure is final? This must have been a question on Peter’s mind. He had boldly promised never to deny Jesus, yet he did. As we continue our Encounters with Jesus series, we'll read a powerful account describing our Lord, who is a Master at restoring broken people. I look forward to seeing you this Sunday as we explore John 21 and consider how Jesus transforms failure into faithfulness. It is good news that Jesus offers hope for those who wonder if God could ever use them again!
He Had It All, Almost
2026/08/10
He was a young man who had it all, almost. The account of the Rich Young Ruler is one of the most memorable encounters Jesus had during His earthly ministry. A young man comes to Jesus with life's most important question: “What must I do to have eternal life?” Yet, after Jesus answers him, he walks away sad.As we continue our Encounters with Jesus series, we'll discover why a man who seemed to have everything ultimately left without the one thing that mattered most.
Thomas - From Doubt to Declaration
2026/08/03
Can a single encounter with Jesus change everything? As a follow-up to our recent series on revival, we turn our attention to individuals whose lives were forever transformed by meeting Christ. These accounts highlight how the Lord meets people personally right where they are. As we begin the new series, Encounters with Jesus, we will consider a man remembered for his indecisive faith, yet one dialogue with the Lord changed his outlook forever.
The Revived Life
2026/07/29
Over the last seven weeks, we have asked the Lord to Revive Us Again. As we conclude the series, we look to Ephesians 5 for a description of the revived life. In this passage, we are called to awaken from spiritual slumber by turning away from the deeds of darkness. The revived life focuses upon daily walking in the light of Christ through the power of His Spirit.
The Greatest Awakening
2026/07/22
Throughout history, genuine revival has transformed churches, communities, and nations as the Lord has worked in His power. As we continue our series, Revive Us Again, we will be encouraged to hear from Brig Jones as he speaks from Acts 2. We will consider how God empowered the early church to change the world and what that means for our mission today.
God Can Do It Again
2026/07/15
We celebrate a significant milestone this weekend - the 250th birthday of the United States of America! Along with joyful celebration comes an opportunity for reflection. We thank God for the freedoms we enjoy, for the sacrifices of those who have gone before us, and for the Christian influence that has helped shape our nation's history.
As we continue our series, Revive Us Again, we turn to the words of an ancient prophet who looked upon his nation and prayed, “Revive Your work in these years” (Habakkuk 3:2). This week we celebrate God’s blessings, reflect on present needs, and ask the Lord to move powerfully in our generation!
The Road Back to God
2026/07/14
Jacob is one of the Bible’s most recognizable people. As one of the patriarchs of Israel, he played a significant role in God’s plan to establish His covenant people. Yet Jacob’s story is also a reminder that even those greatly used by God can experience seasons of spiritual drift and compromise. As we continue our series, Revive Us Again, we will examine what many consider the first example of revival in Scripture. After years of distraction and compromise, God called Jacob back to a renewed commitment in Genesis 35.
Guest Speaker: Dr. Tom Phillips
2026/06/29
As we continue our series on revival, Dr. Tom Phillips, vice president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association joins us and shares a loot at how God has moved through America's history in times of darkness to renew and revive the church, which then turns into great evangelistic movements that have seen great numbers of people come to know Christ.
Return to the Word
2026/06/22
“Every revival in the Old Testament rested solidly on a new and powerful proclamation of the Word of God.” - Walter KaiserAs we continue our new series, Revive Us Again, we will explore one of the clearest examples of spiritual awakening in the Old Testament. Through the ministry of Ezra, God brought renewal to His people when the Word of God was once again placed at the center. Ezra demonstrated a true heart for God's Word as he studied it, obeyed it, and taught it to others. What followed was an incredible transformation of lives, first on a personal level and then throughout the nation.
