Main Corpse Horror d’Oeuvres | Ep. 98 - Valentine Velvet & Wounded Revenge
2026/02/03
This week, the Creeps be doin the things, the Valentine's Day themed flavored? things. I know, we actually found some. We are trying Red Velvet Resse's Cups! Then, Kelsey's brought us an ongoing trial in England, where Claire Bridger was accused of stabbing her estranged husband. She claimed to jurors she "blacked out" and attacked him after he told her that her pet dogs were euthanized. We're very sorry that this story is full of sadness and rage. They also talk about the ratio of Fall to Spring themes, cream cheese, sad spoilers, and nasty men.
Main Corpse Horror d’Oeuvres | Ep. 97 - Crumbl Biscoff Brownie & Dumb Old Texas
2026/01/22
For this episode, Kelsey picked up a couple of mini special cookies from Crumbl. Here's what we tried: Dubai Biscoff brownie, and some sort of ice cream themed cookie, (Chocolate Vanilla Ice Cream Cookie Swirl?) Then, Matt brings a dumb dumb, a car thief in Lakeway, Texas. A car thief caught by a sting operation, where a bait car was waiting all by itself, although not quite, because the inside was chock full o' cops. They also talk about jacking, other cookie flavors, a '97 Honda Accord, checking your back seat, sparking truck nuts, and not sharing your favorite Fritos.
Main Corpse | Ep 109 - Tomatillo & Walk For Peace
2026/01/13
This week we're trying Tomatillo Mexican Grille, because these fine folks pulled us in by our heart's love of all things cheese, as you well know. They're located in the food court of the Meadowbrook Mall at 2399 Meadowbrook Mall Rd, Bridgeport, WV. Open daily 10am-8:30pm, Sun 11am-5:30pm. Here's what we tried: Chips & Salsa side, and we will tell you now, don't sleep on that super fresh salsa. For our main we selected a Chicken bowl with cilantro lime rice, black beans, lettuce, grilled peppers and onions, shredded cheese, grilled chicken, guacamole, spicy queso, pico di gallo, spicy aioli drizzle Then, Kelsey's got a recent story for ya. She's covering the Walk for Peace in the US. It's a 2,300 mile journey across the country for 120 days, in which Buddhist monks are walking from Texas to Washington DC with an adorable pup companion named Aloka. Because we all need some peace right now. And puppers. The Creeps chat about mall food hangouts, mental exhaustion, cyclists, sort of paying it forward, and podcast topic preferences. They also want to remind you it's winter, be aware of icy conditions outside, stay safe, care for your fellow neighbor. Cheers to warmer weather.
Main Corpse Horror d’Oeuvres | Ep. 96 - 4d Crystal Jewels & Florida Guys
2026/01/06
Editor Britte is back with another weird random candy they saw on the internet. Your Creeps are trying Kohakutou, a Japanese sweet made with sugar and agar agar, that's crisp on the outside and very much like soft jelly in the middle. They're vegetarian and gluten free. The ones we got are not the viral handmade Silky Gems, but instead Amos 4D Gummy Crystal Jewels, with the bag containing three different double flavors: Strawberry Mango, Green Apple Grape, and Blueberry Grape. Then, Matt gets back into our love of Florida Man since the Creeps talked to each other about the HBO series It's Florida, Man. Matt brings you a lovely tail of assault in a Wendy's drive-thru, in which some idiot named Josh threw a live alligator through the window at the worker, to the horror of onlookers behind him in line. Did we even need to say that was Florida? Of course not. The Creeps also talk about Matt trying spicy dried mango at a Vegas Raiders game (you're welcome, I bought those because they're awesome), overpowered flavors, the word stan, caramel apple pops, what not to do in a drive thru, and cocoa wheats.
Main Corpse Horror d’Oeuvres | Ep. 95 - Bubs Tutti Fruiti, Vanilla Frost Sprite & Frankie the Flamingo
2025/12/30
The Creeps are still on the Holiday nonsense but aren't as festive this week. However, they're feeling better and are back with sassy intros again. This last episode of 2025 brings you a viral trend that we once again had to catch up on by the time y'all have already had it. That's right, we're trying weird Swedish candy! We have Bubs soft foam tutti fruitti sour Diamonds or Rhombs (I guess because they're sort of rhombus shaped?) And there was even a single banana caramel we found snuck in the bottom of the back like a stowaway. It didn't taste nearly as great as these. The hype was real, you absolutely have to track these down. After that, they wash those down with the crispness of new fallen snow. For our Holiday Season Fest that will never die, they also tried the new seasonal Vanilla Frost Sprite! Then, Kelsey takes us to a zoo in Cornwall, where Frankie flamingo flies the coop, cage, roost, nest, what do flamingos live in? On? Around? Certainly not the cold cement of England. Not this flamingo. The Creeps also talk about sniffles, candy shop scoops, Spotify Wrapped listening age, slippin tastes, animal cuteness, shared music interests, and Grandma stuff. Shoutout to Poppin Candy for Britte's obsession.
Main Corpse | Ep 108 - Christmas Ghost Story 2025
2025/12/24
This week, we're a day late and a few dollars short. The Creeps stay festive and hold a Victorian style feast on a millennial's budget. We try a classic tiny pecan pie from Walmart, interestingly decent Crisp Apple Jason Universe themed Angry Orchard cider, and just the weirdest stuff we could find at Aldi: iced soft gingerbread things and Spritz orange wine that finally opens around the ten minute mark. We think it's wine, we're not sure. Also, Kelsey talks about her solo trip to Martinsburg, WV. She visited Sumo Fusion, located at 1331 Edwin Miller Blvd. Their open daily - Mon-Thu 11-9:30, Fri-Sat 11-10, and Sun Noon-9:30. She tried incredible appetizers and enjoyed shrimp dumplings to her surprise. Matt's favorite special is back! This year's Christmas ghost story will be read by Kelsey. We've chosen The Phantom Toe by two initials or whatever. (Author unknown) The Creeps also talk about how bad that pumpkin ramen was, beloved Appalachian folktales, making punch, powdered sugar giving the Christmas spirit, the horror of getting buzzbombed off a buzzball, and the horror of beloved but now defunct restaurants.
Main Corpse Horror d’Oeuvres | Ep. 94 - The Drunken Raccoon Holiday Special
2025/12/18
The Creeps wish you a Happy New Year and a very Happy Hondadays, getting real creamy with it, as they try limited edition Coke Zero Holiday Creamy Vanilla. They also try the new Peppermint Stick Kit Kats! Then, "The Story America Needed Right Now" Matt's story of animals misbehavin' involves animal control officers responding to a wee bandit, a raccoon who just wanted a beverage. The little guy broke into a liquor store in Ashland, Virginia, and had one heck of a time. The Creeps also talk about being coke fiends everywhere, tiny versions of candies in years gone by, and the snocap war.
Main Corpse | Ep 107 - Holiday Ramen Death Florp & Raëlians
2025/12/09
This week, to continue our holiday nonsense festivities, Kelsey has brewed up a few ramen against better judgement and an afront to several deities. The Creeps are trying, for your pleasure and their disdain, weirdly accurate Pumpkin Pie, a savory Turkey Dinner, and S'mores flavored ramen cups, in a segment that will just have you asking, Why? Then, you get yet another Classic Matt Episode: We've got a cult! Although this one might be a bit different, as Matt explains he couldn't find crimes they've been accused of thus far. Matt talks about the beliefs, practices, and weird angel stuff of Raëlism, the alien cult that started in 70's France, founded by Claude Vorilhon, or as I suppose they'd prefer to be called, Raël... The Creeps also talk about florping noises, psychics, needing wine, weird logo choices, and crying from one of the worst snacks ever tried. Trigger warning, a considerable amount of the front portion of the episode contains wretch noises and ramen slurping. If that bothers you, this is not going to be your episode.
Main Corpse Horror d’Oeuvres | Ep. 93 - More Christmas Treats & A Christmas Love Story
2025/12/04
The Creeps send you more holiday cheer, as Kelsey tries the new Reese's Sugar Cookie Big Cup, and Matt talks about trying McDonald's new Grinch Salt dill pickle dusted McShaker Fries that come in the new Grinch meal, but did not come with a shaky bag. Then, get really plush, cushy and comfortable, as Matt talks about stumbling upon odd love in the outdoors of Waukesha, Wisconsin. Be careful where you sit after this one. The Creeps also talk about sick days, Friendsgiving plans, what to put on fries, Dr. Phil, and hey go watch Legal Eagle.
Main Corpse | Ep 106 - Sheetz Holidaze & Brides of Christ
2025/11/25
This week, to continue our festivities, Britte suggested a holiday treat that our dear beloved editor has now tried several times: The Holidaze sub from Sheetz, which features sliced turkey and all the trimmings on a bun: there's stuffing, gravy, cheddar cheese, and a side of cranberry sauce for dipping or throwing atop your sandwich if you're into that. Then, Kelsey grabbed Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake flavored coffee creamer to try because we absolutely had to. Then, you get a Classic Matt Episode: We've got a cult! Matt talks about Franz Edmund Creffield and the Holy Rollers, a cult in Oregon in the late 1800s. Spoilers of the Dark Tower Series around the 15-17 minute marks. The Creeps also talk about cola, corners, Bubba, books, pine tar, long walks, Oregon 10's, and that Matt was apprehensive to try the sandwich. He's not a Thanksgiving foods mixer, or any food mixer really. They also delve into their extreme love of all other things Sheetz. They also also talk about the Proud Meat Podcast. Go have a listen if you like.
Main Corpse Horror d’Oeuvres | Ep. 92 - Christmas Treats Begin & Local Murder
2025/11/18
Our snack segment is plum full to the brim with holiday cheer! We're trying a few festive snacks to continue what we've done with our Fall thing. To keep us going right along we have Little Deb's Christmas Tree Brownies. They're green. We also try Tastykake's Caramel Apple mini donuts. They look good, Editor Britte wouldn't know, they were left out of trying them. Then, Matt gives an update on a trial for the murder of Dallion Lewis, which occurred in September, 2024. Kameron Griffin of Akron, Ohio was tried and convicted in October of this year, with three other crimes in the case yet to be deliberated. Articles credit to wboy. The Creeps also talk about chocolate and wielding the power of brownie, discontinued cakes of Christmas past, and they question odd flavor editions of treats.
Main Corpse | Ep 105 - Great Harvest Cafe & Daisy Link
2025/11/11
This week, Britte grabbed snacks from a Great Harvest Bakery, we found out later its a national chain, just a smaller one... Located at 3000 Jerry Dove Dr. Suite 100, Around Bridgeport, wv. Open Mon-Fri 7 AM-5 PM, Sat 8 AM-4 PM. Here's what we tried: Trek bar with chocolate and cranberry (their version of a granola bar), they also had a pecan sticky bun Then, Kelsey talks about a Florida woman arrested for shooting her husband in the leg, becomes mysteriously pregnant while in prison. The Creeps also talk about long distance hiking, no bakes, poor punks, JD Vance eyeliner, and a partial hatred of pecan rolls.
Main Corpse Horror d’Oeuvres | Ep. 91 - Cider Donut Cashews & Fieri Tequila Update
2025/11/04
In this episode, we're eating the best nut ever. We're trying Apple Cider Donut flavored cashews from Planter's. Then, Matt's bringing it back. We're rolling out again. He's got updates on the Guy Fieri tequila situation, the Fieri fiasco where a million dollars worth of his proprietary alcohol was pilfered and plundered. Article is from New York Post's Shane Galvin. The Creeps also talk about grocery games, other nuts, horrible country music, and sophistication.
Main Corpse | Ep 104 - Fall Treats Finale & Time Travel
2025/10/28
This time we maybe found The One. We tried Entenmann's Pumpkin Muffins, Tastykake pumpkin spice mini donut thingys, and Great Value Caramel Apple Coffee. Even though this is more of the Fall stuff, they're both extremely excited about this. Then, Matt goes off the deep end with a continuation of Urban Legend Fun Fact Nights. Our last full episode was the first one in that new little series. Matt covers a few instances of supposed time travel, starting with evidence in the South Fork Bridge photo, and then Mike "Madman" Marcum (which we promise is where the true crime comes in with alleged theft of large power transformers), and then finally (Editor Britte's long time favorite story) the time machine of John Titor. The Creeps also talk about getting shocked, kids asking why, Supernatural, Scooby toys, and the things you'll listen to for friends yet again somehow.
Main Corpse Horror d’Oeuvres | Ep. 90 - More Candy Corn & The Burbank Butt Sniffer
2025/10/21
In this episode, we're eating candy corn whether you like it or not. Spiced cider, caramel apple, sweet maple, salted butterscooch, and purmpern spice, according to Kelsey. She also brought Brachs Mellowcreme Caramel Apples that are red, green, and brown. Also, TROPICAL AND OR LEAF FLAVOR WHY YOU THERE. Then, Kelsey wants to know if you're ready for her tale, and you're not. She finally broke Matt with this one. July, Burbank, hot outside, Matt's 37 years old and doesn't live anywhere near California. A man follows a lady shopping at Nordstrom Rack and later Walmart, smelling her butt all the while. It's a story for the ages. And it's a story that happens more than once. (Credit KTLA Mark Sternfield) The Creeps also talk about how far we've fallen, Swifties, the things you'll listen to for friends.
