Description

Hey! My name is Sade Fonseca, a Certified Health Coach and fellow mom of 1. I specialize in helping postpartum mothers to overcome anxiety and overwhelm so that they can feel vibrant and thrive in motherhood. I started this podcast to share more of my experiences as a mother on her own postpartum journey that has also faced many struggles. My faith in God has led me to view motherhood as a sacred calling from above and that I need to be my best self in order to honor my calling. I didn’t want to just barely survive as a mom, I want to thrive! I hope my stories can help another mom like me!

Mama, it’s okay if...
2022/01/25
Sometimes as mothers, it’s hard for us to tell ourselves that “it’s okay” or to accept that everything doesn’t have to be exactly as planned. Things can happen, life happens and we’re not always gonna have a good day. In this episode, I’m just giving a little bit of encouragement to moms that feel like they can’t tell themselves that “it’s okay” ....but really it is
Breastfeeding Struggles
2022/01/04
Breastfeeding is beautiful and it’s also hard! I just wanted to bring you some truths about my experience with breast-feeding and share how long I have been on this journey. It’s really not the easiest thing in the world... I touch on a little bit of education and knowledge that I think moms should have prior to even giving birth. There are things that you may face on your journey and it’s so important to prepare for those types of situations. No one wants to feel like they were just thrown out in the ocean with no idea of how to actually navigate breast-feeding.
Moms Raising Babies & Businesses
2022/01/04
It’s possible to do both mama! Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t. Of course it’s gonna be hard... beck motherhood in itself is hard. Yes you will be be taking on more responsibilities. But think about your future and the life you will be able to create for yourself...for your children... and possibly those around you. Isn’t that worth it for you?
The Truth About Becoming a Mother
2021/12/29
The truth is sometimes before becoming a mother you don’t see the realities... a lot of times we see something like that of a fairy tale. They don’t depict the truth on tv shows very well. We always see everything but what we need to prepare for motherhood... I’m just getting real honest about it in this episode. This may be a trigger for some.. sorry in advance.
Faith in God Pulled Me Out of The Trenches
2021/12/23
I did many things that helped me to overcome postpartum anxiety and depression... but my most powerful routine was prayer, devotion and having strong faith in God! I knew I would get better. He is really who helped me to come out of the trenches when I felt like I wasn’t gonna make it. God pulled me up on my feet and that’s what led me here to wanting to help more women get through this. I had a vision that this was my calling. In the moments when I was in the most pain and in the depths of darkness... my faith in God was a light at the end of the tunnel.
Is it Time to Start Educating & Preparing Mothers for Postpartum?
2021/12/07
This episode is very short and simple. It comes from a question that I thought should be brought to light. This discussion is specifically surrounding the issues that are currently taking place in our societies, as well as the alarming statistics... why they may be increasing and how we can better prepare/educate our mothers long before they actually give birth.
Mental Health is Health
2021/11/29
Mental health matters. It is a part of your overall health. Health is not just about what you’re eating, if you’re exercising or if you even lost weight - it’s more than that. It is about every aspect of your life coming together, full circle. In this episode, I will be talking specifically about mental health in this episode. In my opinion, people are disconnecting mental health with your overall health and not realizing that it is a part of your Health. In my some senses it can even be looked at as one of the most important parts because a lot of things begin in our mind. What we tell ourselves, the words we speak, who/what we’re interacting with, who we keep in our circle.... all of these things affect your mental health. Whether it be good or bad. Mental health matters - don’t let anyone tell you different.

Being aware of what a mama should expect after giving birth and during the postpartum period... this is such an important topic. In this episode I just give 7 postpartum facts that I think can be helpful to note before hand.

Mom Guilt: Wanting to Take Some Personal Time
2021/11/09
If you’re a mama like me I’m sure you’ve had your experience with “mom guilt”. It creeps in so easily and then fills up the entire space. If all you wanna do is take some personal time for yourself, what is so bad in that? Why is this so wrong? Why do you feel guilty about it? In this episode I share my experience with mom guilt and how other moms may be going through the same things too. It’s not easy if you’re always in mommy mode and wanting some personal time should not be wrong. You’re not being selfish and of course you don’t dislike being a mom. You just want a lil time off. I totally get it mama! I’m right there with you.
“I don’t feel like I’m good enough” - YOU ARE ENOUGH
2021/10/21
Not feeling like you’re good enough as a mom? Not feeling like you’re good enough? A lot of moms that I encounter are saying the same thing. If you are feeling this way or ever felt this way before, please take a listen. Mama, YOU ARE ENOUGH! You are more than Enough!
Transitioning into Motherhood and Releasing Limiting Beliefs
2021/10/11
In my opinion, Motherhood is a calling a, a path, & an ongoing journey. We learn, we cry, we win, we fail, but we keep going. Most mothers want to be an example for their children. To me the only way to truly do this is to practice what you preach. If you’re holding unto self-doubt, lacking self-worth, have a low self esteem, talk bad about yourself, or just don’t love yourself.... what do you think your kids will see, hear, learn and then practice? Only by removing these unwanted layers or releasing these limiting beliefs about yourself - can you truly be a reflection of who you want them to grow up to be. Children that love and believe in themselves, has to start knowing this at home. If you’ve struggled with some of what I talk about in this podcast, please know that you’re not alone and it’s not going to be perfect at all! We all go through phases and stages. But, I would like you to think about “what example you are being to your kids?” And, “are you letting go of the things you don’t want to take into your future?”
