235. The Day You Realise Alcohol Isn't Special
2026/10/20
Imagine pouring yourself a lovely glass of chilled white wine, then forgetting about it until it's gone warm. Or leaving your G&T so long the ice melts. If you've spent years thinking about your next drink before you've finished the one in your hand, this might sound impossible. But these little moments reveal an enormous shift. In this episode, I explore how alcohol becomes so important in our lives, how it gradually loses its special status and why forgetting about your drink might be the ultimate sign of take-it-or-leave-it freedom. Want to stop thinking about alcohol so much and start enjoying that freedom yourself? Let's talk about how I can help you get there. 234. Client Success: From Struggle to Ease with Paul
2026/10/13
Paul was already working on changing his drinking when he came to me. And he was having some success. But it was hard. It felt like a constant struggle. Working with me 1:1, we changed that. The struggle went away and his experience became completely different.  In this week’s episode, Paul shares what made the difference and what drinking feels like for him now. If drinking less feels like far too much work, come and work with me 1:1. Your first step is to book a free consultation call: https://tidycal.com/90dayslater/consult
232. Were You Good Last Night
2026/10/06
Were you “good” last night? Maybe you only had one glass. Maybe you didn’t drink at all. Or perhaps you planned two, drank four and woke up thinking you’d been “bad.” We attach an extraordinary amount of moral judgement to drinking, and it can feel completely normal. But turning what you drank into a verdict on you gets in the way of the very thing that helps you change: understanding what actually happened. In this episode, I’m exploring why planned drinking isn’t “bad,” why not drinking doesn’t earn you a gold star and how replacing judgement with facts helps you make better decisions about alcohol. You don’t need to become a good drinker. You need to get good at making decisions about drinking. Ready to stop fighting with yourself over alcohol and get to the point where you can genuinely take it or leave it? 233. I'll Deal With My Drinking Later
2026/10/06
If you’ve been telling yourself you’ll deal with your drinking when work calms down, life gets less busy or the holidays are over, this episode is for you. Because what if you didn’t wait? Imagine going into the holiday season already feeling differently around alcohol, enjoying the dinners, parties and wine without it taking over. If you want to start changing your drinking now, book a consultation call with me and let’s talk about what’s possible: https://tidycal.com/90dayslater/consult
231. The Treat Trap
2026/09/29
What if thinking of alcohol as a “treat” is actually making you want it more? We attach wine to Friday nights, holidays and special occasions, then wonder why not having it can feel like we’re missing out on the good bit. And if your “treat” is happening every night, it’s worth getting curious about what’s actually special, the wine or everything you’ve taught yourself that wine means? In this episode, I explore the difference between having a treat and treating yourself, why simply replacing wine with another treat can keep alcohol on its pedestal and how to start taking some of that meaning back. Because the goal isn’t to find something that can compete with wine. It’s to get to the point where wine is no longer automatically the answer. Want to get to the point where you can genuinely take alcohol or leave it? Book a free consultation call with me and let’s talk about what’s keeping your desire switched on: https://tidycal.com/90dayslater/consult
230. The Myth of “I’ll Enjoy It More With a Drink”
2026/09/22
Do you really enjoy dinner, Friday night or a holiday more with a drink? Or has your brain simply learned to connect alcohol with all the things you already enjoy? In this episode, I’m breaking down the learned link between alcohol and pleasure, and showing you how to start giving the pleasure back to the experience. Because wine might be enjoyable, but it doesn’t get to take credit for the sunset. Want to get to the point where you can genuinely take alcohol or leave it? Book a free consultation call with me and let’s talk about how I can help you make drinking less feel easier: https://tidycal.com/90dayslater/consult
229. Future Regret vs. Present Comfort
2026/09/15
You KNOW you’re going to regret having another drink tomorrow. You know you’ll sleep badly. You know you’ll wish you’d stopped. And yet, right now, another drink still feels like the better option. Why does present comfort so often beat future regret? In this episode, I’m turning that question on its head. What if you took regret off the table completely? What if tomorrow you weren’t allowed to beat yourself up, make new rules or promise to do better? I’ll show you why that question might change the way you make decisions about drinking. Stop trying to figure this out on your own. Book a free consultation call with me and let’s talk about how I can help you make drinking less feel easier: https://tidycal.com/90dayslater/consult
228: Micro Quitting: How You Give Up Before the Drink
2026/09/08
What if you’re giving up on your drinking goals long before you pour the wine? Micro quitting is all the tiny ways you start backing away from what you want, the “we’ll sees”, the quiet negotiations and even the belief that change probably works for other people, but not for you. In this episode, I’m showing you how to spot where you first quit and start rebuilding trust in yourself instead. Don’t let listening to this become another micro quit.  Take a step towards the relationship with alcohol you actually want and book a free
227. The Urge After the Urge
2026/09/01
You get through one craving. Then another. You’re doing so well. And then... BANG. The next one hits and suddenly you’re pouring the wine. In this episode, I’m talking about the urge after the urge, why cravings can come in waves, why the second, third or fifth can be the one that catches you out and what to do when it does. If you’re tired of cravings being the moment your plans go out the window and you want to actually change that, book a free consultation call at https://tidycal.com/90dayslater/consult  I’ll help you understand what’s driving your urges and build the skills to stop automatically answering them with a drink.
I Hate Missing Out
2026/08/04
“I hate missing out.” This is something I used to say on repeat. By then I had decided to change my drinking and was committed to that plan, but would sometimes feel overwhelmed with full-blown fear of missing out. And as we approach the big party season it’s something I’m being asked about more and more. In today’s podcast I show how this fear of missing out does not have to act as a stop sign. I talk about how we can use it to question the type of person we want to be and how we are choosing to show up in the world.  I show how getting into a spin about missing out can impact our life in more ways than just a lack of wine. And I’ll show how you can actually spin this sense of lack as a tactic to go out and get what you do want. If this resonates, I can help you break the pattern and create lasting change. One More Won't Hurt
2026/07/28
“One more won’t hurt” is an innocuous-sounding phrase that keeps so many people stuck drinking. It’s easy to understand why. It’s just one. What difference will that make? In this episode, I explain why it does matter - a lot. And how this actually has nothing to do with the alcohol you want to consume.  If you find your resolve collapsing whenever you think one more won’t hurt, then this episode is for you. If this resonates, I can help you break the pattern and create lasting change. Book a free consultation call with me here: https://tidycal.com/90dayslater/consult

Anticipated Pleasure
2026/07/14
Anticipated pleasure is a powerful thing. It’s basically fast forwarding the tape to experience the sensation of future pleasure now.  We do this as children when Christmas is approaching: from our minds we can create the physical sensation in our bodies of all the excitement about the presents and the fun we’ll have when Christmas finally arrives. As adults we do it with holidays - we spend time daydreaming about what we’ll do on when we’re relaxing in the sun: all the fun we’ll have, all the activities we’ll do, how wonderful it will feel. We do the same thing with alcohol. Most people start drinking in the evenings. This gives you all day to start sensing the anticipated pleasure you will get from that first sip. You may start experiencing this way ahead of the moment when you open the bottle and pour the glass. It’s holding out a promise of release and relaxation and enjoyment that’s definitely coming later, which can help you to push through the day.  Anticipated pleasure is powerful. In this episode I explore how we create anticipated pleasure, why it matters and how to use it to your advantage. If you want to change your relationship with alcohol, you will want to listen up. If this resonates, I can help you break the pattern and create lasting change. Book a free consultation call with me here: https://tidycal.com/90dayslater/consult

2026/07/07
Decisions are beautiful things. They are where we find the power to create the lives we want for ourselves. How we learn to evolve into the highest version of ourselves. Tune in to learn how to take back control of your decisions and create the life you want to live on purpose. If this resonates, I can help you break the pattern and create lasting change. Rebelling Against Yourself
2026/06/30
Rebelling against yourself as you take steps to change your drinking can feel frustrating and infuriating - but is extremely common. How this shows up in my world is when you decide to do something about your drinking, you sign up to do the work - whether that’s following along with me on the podcasts and taking action or when you say hey Anna I want to work with you to get results faster - then at some point you reach a point of rebellion. You start to work against yourself, blame the tools, other people or yourself for your drinking, stop taking responsibility and self-sabotage. Today I talk about why this happens and how it shows up. I also share four simple ways you can move out of rebellion and back into empowerment to create the results you desire. If this resonates, I can help you break the pattern and create lasting change.
