What makes a good summer song? Simon and Anders discuss this in todays episode. They recall the days of making summer mixed tapes and playlists. And they mention a few early influences of music. Obviously, as usual, the episode ends with a few Indiego North summer song examples!

In this episode Anders & Simon char about the very first song they ever wrote together - called “Red Alert”. At the end you will hear an early demo, with a female lead vocal, and then the final one as released by Indiego North in 2019.

Today we chat about an old favourite of ours: The song Coming Home. It’s a rather autobiographic song, where Simon and his wife were living far apart, only seeing each other about twice a year. Later then moving on from that. The whole vibe and feel of the song is very much inspired by the UK band Keane and their sound, which Anders explains more in depth.
