I Want to Hear Your Voice | Tom Soares

Tom Soares is a Winnipeg-based actor, voice specialist, coach and theatre educator. He's worked with many of our friends in Winnipeg's theatre community, including, but not limited to, the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Prairie Theatre Exchange, Manitoba Theatre for Young People, Rainbow Stage, Shakespeare In The Ruins, Theatre Projects Manitoba, Dry Cold Productions, Sarasavati Productions and Winnipeg Jewish Theatre.
He is currently teaching voice and acting at the University of Winnipeg. Privately, he teaches presentation skills and public speaking in one-on-one sessions and custom workshops.

Christopher Brauer is an Associate Professor at the University of Winnipeg and teaches acting and directing in the Department of Theatre and Film. His credits include directing shows for companies like Dry Cold Productions, Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Shakespeare in the Ruins, and more. He has also worked as a Text coach for many of Shakespeare in the Ruins' shows.

Sometimes It Just Happens | Jessy Ardern

Winner of two Sterling Awards as well as two Harry S. Rintoul Awards, Jessy Ardern is a playwright currently living in Edmonton who specializes in adaptation and interactive works. She is back in Winnipeg this autumn with a new work, R+J: Closing Night, which will be Theatre Projects Manitoba's most ambitious show yet.

Carolin Schroeder is a stage manager and arts administrator, born in Germany and now calling Winnipeg home. She's worked with RMTC, Dry Cold Productions, the Winnipeg Fringe Festival, Rainbow Stage and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet school, just to name a few.
Carolin stage-managed our spring co-production of The Perfect Man with Winnipeg Studio Theatre and the Gargoyle Players at The Gargoyle Theatre, which ran from May 6-17, 2026.

Sam Hutchings is a theatre multi-hyphenate—dancing, singing and acting on stages across Canada and even on film! She's currently a Musical Theatre instructor at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and she also works as a stunt performer for film and television. If that wasn't enough, she is currently apprenticing through Intimacy Coordinators Canada to complete her certification as an Intimacy Coordinator.
Sam will be originating the role of Stephanie in our spring production of The Perfect Man at The Gargoyle Theatre, running from May 6-17, 2026.

Victoria Exconde is a performer, choreographer, and teacher based in Winnipeg, MB. She is also the leading actress in the tv show Maria and the Mennos — wherein a young Filipino-Canadian woman tries to maintain her own identity after moving in with her Mennonite in-laws.

She also studied with The Village Conservatory and has done several intensives, including the Rise Musical Theatre Intensive.
