Send us Fan Mail This week, Hilda and Rachael talk about their impressions after watching the first Hobbit movie for the first time in a long time. Overall, they're feeling good about it! Naturally, we talk about our favorite and least favorite hair and wig moments. We have a serious issue with the eagles' choice of landing pad for the company, but at least it provides an excellent review. Also enjoy a special bonus mini interview with the cutest Tolkien fan we've ever encountered.

Send us Fan Mail Hilda and Rachael discuss Amazon's Rings of Power Season 2 Episode 8 "Shadow and Flame." WE DID IT. We finally finished Season 2. While our eyes did a lot of rolling this episode, there were some standout moments. Durin vs Balrog = EPIC. Galadriel vs. Sauron = EPIC. Reveal of Narsil = EPIC. Reveal of Gandalf = EYEROLL. Isildur Love Triangle = WHAT. Lord of the Rings Name Drop = YIKES.

Send us Fan Mail Hilda and Rachael discuss the new anime Lord of the Rings film "War of the Rohirrim." Breaking news - we like something! There are definitely spoilers - so listen at your own risk.  Forth Eorlingas!

Send us Fan Mail Hilda and Rachael discuss Amazon's Rings of Power Season 2 Episode 7 "Doomed to Die." FINALLY one storyline to follow! This episode, we see the peak of Sauron's gaslighting and manipulation. The battle was cool I guess. Really only the horse kicking that orc in midair. Lots of subpar "epic" speeches. Celebrimbor descending into madness and then coming out of it (missing a phalange). How the heck are they going to wrap everything up in one episode? I guess we'll find out.

Send us Fan Mail Hilda and Rachael discuss Amazon's Rings of Power Season 2 Episode 6 "Where Is He?" The season is definitely heating up as they lead us into another battle! We have Adar getting serious about finding and destroying Sauron... with a little help from Galadriel. The Dune worm deems Miriel innocent! And we promise we are not slapping each other over and over in the beginning. We just could not get the claps N*Sync.

Send us Fan Mail Hilda and Rachael discuss Amazon’s Rings of Power Season 2 Episode “Halls of Stone.” Kevin and what’s her name are literally the worst. We finally felt something this episode - RIP Valandil. Sauron is deceiving left and right. Finally, don’t leave giant anvils hanging from ropes above your head.  This podcast is slowly turning into us just analyzing everyone’s hair.

Send us Fan Mail Hilda and Rachael discuss Amazon's Rings of Power Season 2 Episode 4, "Eldest." A whole lotta nothing happened, but we did find the Entwives!  Some other highlights:  Do we want a baby lamb now? Orcs are back to their evil ways.  More cameos, but this time from Pirates of the Caribbean?  What is the purpose of Theo? This summary is as jumbled as this episode was.

Send us Fan Mail Hilda and Rachael discuss Amazon's Rings of Power Season 2 Episode 3, "The Eagle and the Sceptre." This episode had so many cameos from the trilogy - we have Shelob, Dead Marshes, Eagles, and Ents(?). We continue our analysis of the hair of Middle Earth. Also - very much against our will, we were forced to witness orc affection?? And it made us very uncomfortable. All in all - an entertaining and action packed episode. What will Sauron do next?

Send us Fan Mail Hilda and Rachael discuss Amazon's Rings of Power Season 2 Episode 2, "Where the Stars are Strange." Can't stop won't stop talking about Cirdan's hair. Other than that - not much happens this episode - except Sauron shape-shifts into an....interesting being who doesn't appear to look to YouTube for makeup advice...

Send us Fan Mail Hilda and Rachael discuss Amazon's Rings of Power Season 2 Episode 1, "Elven Kings Under the Sky." We're back. And we're obsessed with Cirdan's hair. Sauron is such a hottie and a baddie. Nori and the Stranger are being followed by Mad Max? Also, why are the elves always in a state of fading?
