Calling Your Energy Back to Yourself, with Nicolette Halladay
2026/10/22
Where has your energy been going today?
In this episode of 5 Minutes of Peace, Nicolette Halladay of Inspired Hearts Publishing guides us through a grounding meditation for stepping away from the noise, expectations, comparisons, unfinished tasks, and future worries that can pull our attention in so many directions.
Nicolette begins with slow, intentional breathing and a simple invitation: for the next few minutes, there is nothing to figure out. Instead, we can become present in our bodies and gently notice all the places our attention has traveled—the conversations we're replaying, people we're thinking about, outcomes we're trying to control, and expectations we're carrying.
From there, Nicolette invites us to imagine calling our energy back from everything outside ourselves and returning it to the body and heart.
Once we become quieter, she offers three questions for reflection: What feels alive for me right now? If I stopped worrying about what I should do next, what do I already know? And what is one small action I can take today that honors what I just heard?
The practice reminds us that we don't always need to see the entire path before taking a step. Sometimes we simply need enough quiet to recognize what feels true—and enough courage to act on it.
Nicolette closes with an affirmation to carry into the day:
“I call my energy back to myself. I trust what I know, and I am willing to honor what feels true.”

The Waters of Chalice Well: A Moment of Peace from Glastonbury
2026/10/15
In this unique episode of 5 Minutes of Peace, we invite you to simply pause... breathe... and listen.
The gentle sound you'll hear was recorded by Jenny and Mark Stinson during a visit to the historic Chalice Well Gardens in Glastonbury, England. Rather than words or guided meditation, this episode offers a few peaceful minutes immersed in the flowing waters of one of the world's most cherished spiritual sanctuaries.
Nestled at the foot of Glastonbury Tor, Chalice Well has welcomed pilgrims, seekers, and visitors from every spiritual tradition for generations. The Chalice Well Trust describes it as "Many Paths, One Source," honoring people of all faiths and beliefs while fostering a deep connection between humanity, nature, and the spirit of this remarkable place.
The gardens themselves offer a refuge from everyday life — a place where visitors are invited to slow down, reflect, and experience the beauty of the changing seasons. Throughout the grounds, the constant sound of the spring reminds us of life's continual flow.
One of the most meaningful symbols found throughout the gardens is the Vesica Piscis, an ancient form of sacred geometry representing the union of complementary opposites — heaven and earth, the divine feminine and divine masculine, what is emerging and what has already been created. It serves as a beautiful reminder that peace often arises through balance, harmony, and connection.
Whether you've visited Chalice Well yourself or are experiencing it for the first time through these sounds, may this recording offer a quiet invitation to become fully present. Let the flowing water wash away distraction, restore your attention to this moment, and remind you that peace is often found in the simplest gifts of nature.

Closing ReflectionSometimes peace doesn't arrive through conversation. Sometimes it comes through the sound of flowing water... the whisper of the wind... and a few quiet moments spent remembering that we are part of something much larger than ourselves.

Faith Over Fear: Finding Signs in Unexpected Places, with Naomi Psalm
2026/10/08
In this heartfelt episode of 5 Minutes of Peace, musician and artist Naomi Psalm shares a personal reflection about fear, faith, nature ... and an unexpected message discovered along the Boise River.
Naomi describes creativity as her passion and a way of co-creating with God, making music and art that might spark something within others and help them remember who they truly are. As a Florida native now living in Idaho, she also feels a deep connection to water and finds grounding, comfort, and inspiration in nature.
On one particular visit to the Boise River with her dog, however, Naomi wasn't feeling peaceful. She was overwhelmed by fear and worry, quietly asking for reassurance and wondering where God was when she needed that presence most.
As she tossed rocks into the river for her dog to retrieve, Naomi happened to turn one over before throwing it.
Written on the rock were three simple words:
"Faith over fear."
Among countless rocks along the river, she had picked up one carrying the exact message she needed in that moment.
For Naomi, it felt like an unmistakable reminder to stop allowing fear to direct her life and instead place greater trust in what she couldn't yet see. She brought the rock home, placed it on her mantle, and continues to use it as a daily reminder to choose faith.
Through this simple story, Naomi invites us to become more attentive to the world around us. Nature can provide space to quiet our thoughts, reconnect with ourselves, and perhaps notice the signs, synchronicities, and moments of meaning we might otherwise overlook.
Her reflection also offers a powerful reminder: What we focus on expands.
When our attention is consumed by worry, fear can seem to appear everywhere. But when we intentionally look for beauty, hope, possibility, and even a little magic, we may begin noticing those things too.
About Today's GuestNaomi Psalm is a musician and visual artist whose creative work is rooted in spirituality, connection, and her desire to awaken something meaningful within others. She describes her life's passion as co-creating with God through music and art, helping people reconnect with their deeper sense of self. Learn more at https://linktr.ee/naomipsalm
About the MusicNaomi also provided the soundtrack for her story: an original composition entitled “Celestial,” created in 528 Hz and featuring live sounds recorded in the Hawaiian jungle.
528 Hz is commonly included among the modern Solfeggio frequencies and is often referred to in spiritual and wellness communities as the “love frequency” or “miracle tone.” “Celestial” also incorporates theta-wave binaural beats, which are commonly used to support states of deep relaxation, meditation, and rest.
Together, the music and Naomi’s story create an immersive invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, and choose faith over fear.

Filling in Light to Feel Light, Guided Meditation with Tania Ho
2026/10/01
In this luminous episode of 5 Minutes of Peace, meditation guide Tania Ho invites us to slow down, settle into the body, and reconnect with the healing light within and around us.
Tania begins by encouraging us to release anything that feels heavy and gently shift our awareness away from the busy mind and into the heart center.
From there, she guides us through a beautiful visualization of golden healing light flowing from the universe and into the heart. With each inhale, we receive the light. With each exhale, we allow our own inner light to expand throughout the body.
The meditation then creates two grounding connections: one extending from the heart down into the heart of the Earth, and another reaching upward into the heart of the cosmos. Held between these two sources of energy, we are invited to experience ourselves as both grounded and expansive.
As the meditation continues, Tania encourages us to imagine golden light reaching every part of the physical body. The light then expands beyond the physical, filling our emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies and the energetic space surrounding us.
At the heart of the practice is a simple reminder:
You are a divine light being, and you are always supported from all directions.

The Wisdom Within, by Michele Lundstrom
2026/09/24
In this gentle and thought-provoking episode of 5 Minutes of Peace, intuitive shamanic channel Michele Lundstrom invites us to slow down, quiet the noise around us, and reconnect with the wisdom that already lives within.
Michele begins by reflecting on those moments when life feels overwhelming—when stress, fear, and exhaustion cloud our perspective. Rather than immediately searching for solutions outside ourselves, she offers a simple yet profound question:
"What am I consuming?"
Beyond the food we eat, Michele encourages us to consider everything we take in each day: conversations, media, music, books, social media, relationships, thoughts, and emotions. Every experience nourishes—or drains—our mind, body, and spirit. Just as our bodies digest food, our hearts and nervous systems are continually processing the energy of our daily lives.
She reminds us that slowing down is not simply about doing less. It is about creating space to release what isn't ours to carry and becoming more intentional about what truly nourishes us.
Throughout the reading, Michele highlights the power of curiosity. Rather than judging ourselves or rushing toward answers, she encourages us to gently explore our thoughts, feelings, and experiences with openness. Curiosity, she believes, is one of our greatest teachers because it brings us back to ourselves and opens the door to deeper self-awareness.
Michele also offers a reassuring perspective on intuition. Instead of arriving as dramatic flashes of insight, our inner wisdom often speaks quietly—a subtle knowing, a gentle feeling, or a calm inner voice that invites us to pay attention. Learning to trust that wisdom begins by slowing down long enough to notice it.
The episode concludes with an invitation to pause, listen to your body, and ask one simple question:
"What do I need?"
Perhaps the wisdom you've been seeking has been patiently waiting within you all along.

At the Threshold: An Equinox Meditation, with Stephanie Curd
2026/09/22
In this special Equinox episode of 5 Minutes of Peace, Stephanie Curd invites us to pause at the turning of the season and consider what balance means in our lives right now.
As the sun moves into Libra and light and darkness meet in almost equal measure, Stephanie uses the Equinox as a natural moment for reflection. Where has your energy been going? Where have you been giving deeply or carrying more than you realized? What might be asking for your attention, and where are you ready to create more space?
Stephanie guides us to imagine standing at the edge of a path, with the months already traveled stretching behind us. There have been things we created, lessons we learned, conversations and changes that shaped us, and experiences that required more of us than expected. Before moving forward, she encourages us to simply acknowledge that we have made it here.
From that place, the meditation turns toward what we want to carry into the season ahead. Perhaps it is a stronger relationship, a dream that still matters, a boundary we have learned to hold, or a new version of ourselves beginning to emerge.
Stephanie offers two questions to carry into this seasonal transition:
What has grown in me this season that I want to keep tending?
What would bring greater balance into my life this season?
There is no need to force the answers. Give yourself a moment to listen and allow whatever comes forward to be enough.
About Today’s GuestStephanie Curd returns to 5 Minutes of Peace to guide us through this seasonal reflection on balance, intention, release, and trust.
Her meditation reminds us that a change of season can become a meaningful opportunity to notice where we have been and choose more intentionally where we want to place our energy next.

Closing ReflectionAs Stephanie reminds us:
I can trust the next steps as they appear. I can choose where my energy belongs.
May you release what feels complete. May you carry forward what continues to grow. And may you enter this next season with intention, balance, and trust in yourself.

Moving Forward: Finding Strength Through Life's Obstacles, with Michaelbrent Collings
2026/09/17
In this inspiring episode of 5 Minutes of Peace, international bestselling author and screenwriter Michaelbrent Collings shares a deeply personal story of resilience, reminding us that obstacles don't have to define our future.
Michael recounts the unexpected twists in his own journey — from leaving a successful legal career to care for his wife during a serious illness, to rebuilding his life as a writer after losing his job during an economic downturn. Along the way, he also faced profound personal challenges, including major depression, suicidal thoughts, psychotic episodes, and even waking one morning unable to move from the neck down. Despite these hardships, he continued creating, writing, and finding purpose.
Rather than offering shortcuts to success, Michael shares three practical principles that have helped him continue moving forward. First, he encourages us to focus not on being the most successful person in the room, but on being the kindest and most professional. Kindness builds relationships, creates opportunities, and leaves a lasting impact far beyond any achievement.
His second lesson is to embrace curiosity. Michael believes one of life's greatest strengths is the willingness to admit, "I don't know," and then ask questions with genuine interest. By remaining open to learning, we continue to grow, adapt, and discover possibilities we might otherwise miss.
Finally, he reminds us of the importance of surrounding ourselves with supportive people—and becoming that source of encouragement for others. In difficult seasons, a caring community can make all the difference, offering strength, perspective, and hope when we need it most.
Michael closes with an uplifting reminder: you've already overcome more than you may realize, and with perseverance, kindness, curiosity, and support, you are capable of going even farther.
About Today's GuestMichaelbrent Collings is an international bestselling author, award-winning screenwriter, and speaker known for his suspense novels, screenplays, and inspiring message of perseverance. Through his writing and personal story, he encourages others to navigate adversity with courage, compassion, and lifelong curiosity.

Designing Your Life from Within, by Jazz Musician John Novello
2026/09/10
In this episode of 5 Minutes of Peace, acclaimed jazz keyboardist, composer, author, and mentor John Novello reflects on the remarkable journey that led him from a small-town musician to performing alongside some of the biggest names in contemporary music — and the inner guidance that shaped every step along the way.
John shares stories from a career that includes serving as musical director for A Taste of Honey, performing with legendary artists such as Al Jarreau, The Manhattan Transfer, Donna Summer, and Rita Coolidge, and discovering that success is often born from unexpected moments. A chance snowstorm in Erie, Pennsylvania, brought a renowned record producer into the lounge where John's band happened to be performing, resulting in his first record deal. Although that opportunity unexpectedly dissolved, John explains how what felt like failure ultimately redirected him toward an even greater purpose.
Throughout the episode, John encourages listeners to trust the subtle guidance of intuition. He recalls a vivid childhood memory at just three years old when an inner voice prompted him toward music—an experience he now recognizes as the beginning of a lifelong relationship with what he calls "The Invisible Architect."
Rather than seeing intuition as something mystical or reserved for a select few, John describes it as the quiet wisdom that continually guides us toward our life's purpose. Whether we call it our higher self, divine guidance, or inner knowing, he believes this voice is always inviting us to become the fullest expression of who we were created to be.
John also explores one of the central ideas from his bestselling book: that lasting change begins within. Instead of focusing on changing external circumstances, he encourages us to examine our thoughts, beliefs, and inner dialogue. As our inner world changes, our outer world naturally begins to reflect it.
The episode concludes with an invitation to pay closer attention to those moments of intuition, curiosity, and inspiration that often appear throughout our lives. They may be pointing us toward a path we haven't yet imagined—but one that has been waiting for us all along.

Changing the Story You Tell Yourself, by the late Dr. James Doty
2026/09/03
In this episode, renowned neurosurgeon, author, and compassion researcher the late Dr. James Doty shares the remarkable true story that changed the course of his life. (He shared his story in an interview with Mark in 2020.)
Growing up in difficult circumstances, Dr. Doty recalls being a 12-year-old boy filled with anger, fear, and hopelessness, convinced he had no future. Everything began to change one summer afternoon when he wandered into a small magic shop and met an extraordinary woman whose kindness would alter his life's direction.
She greeted him with a genuine smile, treated him with dignity, and created a sense of psychological safety that allowed him to be seen—not as a troubled child, but as someone with unlimited potential. Over the following six weeks, she introduced him to practices that were virtually unknown in the West at the time: mindfulness, self-compassion, and the power of reshaping the stories we tell ourselves.
Dr. Doty explains that our minds naturally cling to negative experiences, creating an inner narrative that can limit our lives. By learning to replace thoughts like "I'm not good enough" with beliefs rooted in self-worth and possibility, he began to see both himself and the world differently.
He describes how changing his inner dialogue transformed every aspect of his future—from believing he could attend college and medical school to becoming a Stanford neurosurgeon, entrepreneur, founder of Stanford University's Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education, and author of the bestselling memoir Into the Magic Shop.
Throughout the conversation, Dr. Doty reminds us that mindfulness and self-compassion are not simply feel-good practices—they literally help us access our innate capacity for resilience, purpose, and connection. As we become kinder to ourselves, we begin to recognize that everyone carries a story, everyone experiences suffering, and everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive.
He closes with a powerful reminder that each of us has the opportunity, every single day, to make one person's life a little better.
Dr. James R. Doty was a neurosurgeon, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. He founded the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE) at Stanford, an internationally recognized center exploring the science of compassion, mindfulness, and human flourishing.
His bestselling memoir, Into the Magic Shop: A Neurosurgeon's Quest to Discover the Mysteries of the Brain and the Secrets of the Heart, has inspired readers around the world with its message that compassion, intention, and self-belief can transform lives.
Although Dr. Doty has since passed away, his work continues to influence medicine, neuroscience, education, and the growing field of compassion research.

The Mirror Meditation: Awakening Presence Through Your Own Reflection, with Michael Monk
2026/08/27
In this contemplative episode of 5 Minutes of Peace, spiritual teacher Michael Monk introduces listeners to one of the foundational practices from his Awakening Course — a meditation he calls The Mirror Meditation.
Michael explains that we are all reflections of one another, making every encounter an opportunity for greater self-awareness. In this guided practice, he invites listeners to use his face as a mirror, gently focusing on both of his eyes with equal attention. This balanced way of seeing is designed to quiet mental activity, harmonize the brain's two hemispheres, and encourage a deeper state of presence.
As the meditation unfolds, participants may notice subtle shifts in perception. Some experience changes in light, color, or the appearance of an aura. Others may observe facial features seeming to soften, change, or even dissolve. Michael emphasizes that these experiences are simply invitations to relax, remain present, and become more aware of the energy that surrounds us.
Perhaps the most meaningful part of the practice comes after the meditation itself. Michael encourages listeners to repeat the exercise while looking into their own reflection. By meeting ourselves with openness instead of judgment, we begin to cultivate a deeper relationship with our own inner wisdom and intuition.
His closing reminder is both simple and profound:
"Remember to love what you see."
It is an invitation to approach ourselves with compassion, curiosity, and acceptance—recognizing that peace begins by seeing ourselves with new eyes.
About Today's GuestMichael Monk has been teaching spirituality, metaphysics, and energy mastery since 2011. Through meditation, intuitive development, and consciousness practices, he helps students cultivate greater presence, spiritual awareness, and personal transformation.

The Soul Cleansing Breath, with Luminara
2026/08/20
In this episode of 5 Minutes of Peace, spiritual teacher and meditation guide Luminara leads listeners through a deeply restorative visualization known as the Soul Cleansing Breath. This simple yet profound practice is designed to help release tension, restore inner balance, and cultivate a sense of peace that extends beyond ourselves into the world around us.
TCOInfinity.com
https://www.youtube.com/@thecentreofinfinity5865
https://www.facebook.com/thecentreofinfinity
IG: @Luminaraesthercylne
Luminara introduces the concept of Clear Light — a state of pure, balanced awareness that exists beyond the polarity of light and darkness. Rather than focusing on opposing forces, Clear Light is described as a calm, centered presence, "clear like a diamond," offering a space of harmony and renewal.
The meditation begins with slow, conscious breathing, inviting listeners to relax the body, soften areas of tension, and trust the natural process of letting go. With each inhale, participants visualize a beam of Clear Light entering through the crown chakra and filling the heart center. As the light expands throughout the body, each exhale releases streams of that same Clear Light into the surrounding space.
As the practice unfolds, those streams of light gradually extend farther—from the room, to the home, across the city, around the globe, and finally throughout the universe. In this way, the meditation becomes not only a personal cleansing practice but also an offering of peace, healing, and compassionate intention to all beings.
The meditation concludes by gently returning awareness to the physical body, leaving listeners with a renewed sense of serenity, spaciousness, and connection. Luminara reminds us that even a few mindful breaths can help us release what no longer serves us and reconnect with the deeper peace that is always available within.
Luminara is a meditation teacher, holistic hypnotherapist, and spiritual guide who helps others explore expanded states of awareness, personal healing, and conscious living. Through her work, she encourages people to connect with their own inner wisdom while cultivating greater peace, balance, and clarity. Standing on the Mountaintop, with Regyna Curtis
2026/08/13
In this reflective episode of 5 Minutes of Peace, author and soul rhythm guide Regyna Curtis invites us into a beautiful metaphor for personal growth, self-discovery, and the natural rhythm of life's seasons.
Regyna's Website
@atmaitri on Instagram
Regyna's Facebook page
Drawing from her Charting Your Course system, Regyna describes standing on a mountaintop after a long and meaningful journey. It is a place of quiet reflection—a moment to pause before rushing toward the next goal. From this elevated perspective, we are given two extraordinary gifts: hindsight and foresight.
Looking back, we recognize the challenges we've overcome, the wisdom we've gained, and the resilience we've developed. Looking ahead, we begin to see more clearly what will truly support us on our next adventure—not just what we hope to accomplish, but who we are becoming along the way.
Rather than encouraging constant striving, Regyna reminds us that every season has its purpose. Before beginning something new, we are invited to honor what has already been completed. There is value in celebrating our accomplishments, integrating the lessons we've learned, and allowing ourselves the rest that naturally follows meaningful effort.
She also offers an important reminder that the journey isn't finished simply because we've reached the summit. Just as climbing a mountain requires intention, so does the descent. Moving back into everyday life with presence allows the wisdom we've earned to become part of who we are, preparing us to meet the next season with greater authenticity and confidence.
This thoughtful reading encourages listeners to slow down, appreciate how far they've come, and trust that rest, reflection, and integration are essential parts of every meaningful path.
About Today's GuestRegyna Curtis is a Soul Rhythm Amplifier, founder of At Maitri, and creator of the Charting Your Course system. Breathe Into Your Heart, with Polis Xinaris
2026/08/06
In this calming episode of 5 Minutes of Peace, mind-body-spirit wellness coach Polis Xinaris offers a simple meditation designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and cultivate positive emotions — no matter what challenges your day may bring.
Polis begins by inviting listeners to create a quiet, intentional space, perhaps with a favorite object, crystal, or candle as a gentle point of focus. Through a guided breathing practice of slow, steady inhales and extended exhales, he demonstrates how conscious breathing can quiet the mind, relax the body, and bring us fully into the present moment.
As the meditation deepens, listeners are encouraged to place both hands over the heart and become aware of its natural rhythm. Polis beautifully illustrates the connection between the heart and the mind, inviting us to imagine a pathway between them. With each breath, our awareness expands, allowing our thoughts, emotions, and inner wisdom to become more fully aligned.
From this place of inner connection, he encourages us to embody the qualities we most want to experience—gratitude, love, joy, excitement, and happiness—not as distant goals, but as feelings we can choose to cultivate in the present moment.
The meditation concludes by gently returning our attention to the object before us, grounding ourselves in the here and now while carrying these uplifting emotions into the rest of the day. Polis reminds us that peace is not something we have to search for — it can begin with a single breath and a willingness to become present.
About Today's GuestPolis Xinaris is a mind-body-spirit wellness coach dedicated to helping people create greater balance, resilience, and inner peace through mindfulness, meditation, and conscious awareness. Healing Forward: Breaking Generational Patterns with Conscious Living, with Queen D. Michele
2026/07/30
In this thought-provoking episode, Queen D. Michele invites us to consider how personal healing can become a gift not only to ourselves, but also to future generations.
Drawing from her experiences as a retired educator, light worker, and creator of an innovative social-emotional learning curriculum, Queen D. Michele shares three powerful "nuggets" that have shaped her life's work.
She begins by reminding us that many of the systems surrounding us often measure success by productivity and output rather than by the quality and purpose of our lives. Her invitation is to reclaim our time, our attention, and our authentic path, recognizing that each of us has the freedom to live with greater intention.
Her second reflection explores the growing understanding that trauma can be passed from one generation to the next. Yet alongside that reality comes hope. If emotional wounds can be inherited, she believes healing can move through generations as well. The journey begins with awareness—recognizing inherited patterns, accepting their existence, and opening ourselves to the possibility of transformation.
Finally, Queen D. Michele reflects on a profound lesson she discovered while piloting her social-emotional learning curriculum in middle schools. She observed that meaningful emotional growth cannot simply be taught through information alone. Instead, authentic guidance comes from those who have undertaken their own journey of self-awareness and healing. As she beautifully summarizes:
"The unconscious can't teach consciousness."
Rather than seeing emotional intelligence as a subject to master, she encourages us to view it as a lifelong personal practice—one that strengthens families, communities, and future generations.
This episode is a gentle reminder that every step we take toward greater awareness creates new possibilities, not only for ourselves, but for those who follow after us.

Signs of Love: A Story of Synchronicity and the Afterlife, with Tammy Young
2026/07/23
In this heartfelt episode of 5 Minutes of Peace, author and medium Tammy Young shares an unforgettable true story from her book, Afterlife Bonds, reminding us that love doesn't end when someone leaves this world.
Tammy recounts traveling to California for the funeral of her brother, Matt. Already emotionally exhausted and overwhelmed, she found herself navigating unfamiliar roads without working GPS, worried about arriving late for the evening visitation. After pulling into a busy shopping center to regroup, she discovered that the visitation had been postponed because Matt's casket had been delayed.
As the stress of the moment melted away, Tammy glanced at the car parked beside her and was astonished to recognize her niece, Christina. Neither had planned to meet there. Both had arrived independently, and both were amazed by the seemingly impossible coincidence.
Reflecting on the experience, Tammy believes it was far more than chance. Knowing her brother's playful personality, she felt certain that Matt had orchestrated the encounter as one final practical joke—while also providing comfort, reassurance, and connection during a difficult time.
Through this remarkable story, Tammy invites us to remain open to the possibility that our loved ones continue to accompany us in meaningful ways. Sometimes their presence is felt through memories. Sometimes through unexpected moments of peace. And sometimes, through extraordinary synchronicities that remind us love continues beyond the physical world.
Whether you view these moments as coincidence, intuition, or spiritual guidance, Tammy's story encourages us to notice the unexpected, trust our inner knowing, and remain open to the mystery that surrounds us every day.
