We finally sailed Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Destiny, on a rare seven-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary and it delivered the exact kind of vacation we crave: less planning, more living. The Florida weather tried to run the show, but we still pulled off a packed Walt Disney World parks trip with plenty of snacks, storms, and hard-earned tips. Five parks. Three days. Were we crazy, lucky, or smart? Yes. We planned a Disney trip, then swerved hard and surprised the kids with two nights at the Helios Grand Hotel, the on-site hotel with a dedicated entrance right into Universal Epic Universe. From the moment we saw Celestial Park through those huge lobby windows, we knew this was going to be a different kind of vacation story.
