The Gympie Pyramid
2025/11/29
Some time during the colonization of Australia an Italian immigrant built a terraced winery on a mountain in Gympie, NSW. For the next hundred plus years this drove locals and pseudo-archeologists insane. Is the so called Gympie Pyramid anything other than a couple of weird rocks and an old vineyard? Jackson is joined by his good friends Joel and Adam to get to the bottom of it. Adam gets mad at psychics, Zammit falls down a kooky rabbit hole, and Jackson reminisces about an evening he spent listening to a pseudo-archaeologist detail his belief that Australia and Egypt used to be trade partners. It's a good un.

Coral Castle
2025/11/14
In 1923 Edward Leedskalnin built a castle in Florida comprised entirely out of nearby limestone. It's a very impressive feat, sure, but somehow over time it took on a mystical quality to the point where people were attributing to Leedskalnin all kinds of qualities and knowledges he did not have. Jackson is joined by Adam and no one else to get to the bottom of this frankly terrible man and his b******t castle. Also if you live near Coral Castle and send us merch we'd literally shit our pants in joy. Cheers xoxox

Fearsome Critters (Featuring Johnny Baby)
2025/10/24
In this episode Jackson is joined by Zoe and Zammit to talk about the folkloric animals of the early American loggers. Johnny Baby is in this episode too and he's making all kinds of noises. He's yelling and it's very distracting in a way that I think you'll think is funny. This is also the second time I've uploaded this episode because I messed up the first time. It's been a long day people.

The 52hz Whale
2025/10/17
At the end of the Cold War secret Navy recordings of the deep ocean were released into the public. Alongside normal sea sounds was a mysterious 52hz noise that seemed to come from a whale of unknown origin. No other whale makes noise at this frequency, what's going on? Jackson is joined by his good friend Joel Duscher to get to the bottom of it. Is the whale just deformed? Is it an unknown species? Or is it a whale putting on a funny voice to prank oceanographers. And also a whale is basically a fish.

The Capitol Hill Mystery Soda Machine
2025/09/19
Starting in the late 1990s near a local locksmith a mystery vending machine from the 70s dispensed both normal and "mystery" soda to anyone willing to pay around a dollar. No one knew who stocked it, no one knew who owned it, and over time it became something of a local mystery. Jackson is joined by his good friends Adam Carnevale and Joel Zammit to get to try and figure out what the hell is happening. There's also a lot of discussion about depressions, recessions, and riding the rails. Enjoy!

J. Fred Muggs
2025/09/12
In the 1950s a pet store held a "Name that Ape" contest to find a brand new name for an ape taken from Cameroon, little did they know this would kick of the illustrious career of famous Hollywood Ape J. Fred Muggs. He bit a bunch of people and caused many problems on set, which is not surprising because he is a chimpanzee. Jackson is joined by his good friend Joel and Joel to get to the bottom of this ape's beautiful life. Jackson is fighting for his life in this episode, he gets so yelled at. You shouldn't treat an ape like a man. Enjoy.

Khamar-Daban Incident
2025/08/22
In 1993 a group of mountain climbers attempted an expedition along the peaks of the Khamar-Daban. Two days in disaster struck, with many of the hikers bleeding from their eyes and mouth, eventually leading to death with only one survivor. Jackson is joined by his good friends Adam and Zammit to try to get to the bottom of what happened. Was it as simple as altitude sickness? Nerve gas? Who can say. They also dedicate the first quarter of the episode to an argument and yelling, par for the course.

Giant Sharks
2025/08/15
Throughout history people have claimed to have seen sharks that far exceeded our current understanding of how big a shark can get. But did they ever really? Or do people just not know how big a shark is? Jackson is joined by his good friends Zammit and Adam to try to get to the bottom of this mystery. They get deep into it on this episode, Adam even finds a translation of a French Cryptozoology book and Zammit gets mad at our current use of measurements. It's a heater.

John Titor
2025/07/11
In 1998 a man called Art Bell's Coast to Coast to explain the ins and outs and of timetravel. In 2000 he returned, calling himself John Titor and posting on a time travel centric forum, claiming to be a member of the 177th Temporal Reconnaissance Unit in the year 2034 who had been sent back in time to the year 1975 to collect an IBM 1500. That's a lot to take in. Jackson is joined by his beautiful friends Joel Zammit and Adam Carnevale to get to the bottom of things. Was John Titor a real time traveller? A con artist? Someone trying to create an early arg? And why, why oh why, did he pick an incredibly yonic military insignia?

The Thanksgiving Day Disaster
2025/06/20
In 1900 at the 16th and Folsom grounds Stanford and Berkley university faced off against each other in a friendly football match. They also charged one dollar a ticket. This would spell disaster for 22 (or 23) sportsfans who climbed onto the roof of a nearby glass factory instead of paying. Jackson is joined by his good friend Adam to get to the bottom of how this most obvious and by the numbers accident occurred. They also talk heaps about Shirley Temple at the end, like, ten whole minutes, maybe more.

The photograph became so famous that the father of Cryptozoology decided to investigate. Jackson is joined by his good friends Tom Reed and Adam Carnevale to get to the bottom of it. They also take a brief detour into Tom's Sports Corner, and stop about a quarter way through to eat dinner. It's a good episode I promise.

Jackson is joined by his good friends Joel Duscher and Adam Carnevale to get to the bottom of it and see if they themselves can get their grubby little hands on some tasty gems. Or maybe to get distracted by another treasure hunt involving cases of Canadian Club that's actually far more interesting. Who knows!

The Sinking of the Cap Trafalgar
2025/04/18
Jackson has given up the reigns in this episode and handed them over to Adam Carnevale for another episode of Adam Armies America. In 1914 the German Navy had the genius idea to disguise the pleasure cruiser SMS Cap Trafalgar as the British pleasure cruiser the RMS Carmania to discretely join British fleets and ambush enemy ships under the cover of night. It went about as wrong as you could possibly imagine. Adam is joined by Jackson and Zammit to get to the bottom of what exactly went wrong and also to explore the concept of boat dome and sinking with the fishes. Enjoy.

What a horse! Listen on and find out what made him so special and also to be reminded of a simpler time when pornography and chocolate were rare.
