This was a loose one, I'm afraid. From the late 1800s till at least 2008 people travelling a particular road in Dartmoor have been victim to a pair of ghostly hairy hands which force them off the road and into the curb. Or, at least, two or three people say that, a lot of people just crash their car and motorbike. Jackson is joined by dear friends Adam and Zammit to get to the bottom of things. They also fight about what constitutes a ruin, reminisce about the time Jackson got mogged in high school, and come up with some dynamite crime solving strategies. Remember, if you're gonna drink and drive, blame it on the hairy hands.

In 1909 William Howard Taft became the president of the United States. The previous president Teddy Roosevelt had the Teddy Bear named after him and people thought there should be a child's toy for Taft as well. The particular toy they picked, and the event they based it on, was crazy. Jackson is joined by Adam (or Poirot) and Zammit to get to the bottom of it. America has always been ruled by monster men and Taft is no different. Also, remember to avoid Mexicanized food and Pepper Sauces. Enjoy!

In 1991 two German tourists discovered the frozen body of a preserved Neolithic man. He was christened Otzi the Iceman and turned out to be one of the most well preserved bodies of ancient man ever discovered. They did not treat his body with respect. Jackson is joined by his good friends Joel Duscher and Zoe Bee to get to the bottom of things. How did Otzi die? Who was he? And is smoking inside good? Listen on and find the hell out.

Screw whatever Jackson had planned, someone left a half eaten croissant in the front office and no one is beyond suspect. Was it Zammit's wife who purchased it for Johnny Baby? Was it Jackson and he forgot? What is everyone's Bakers Delight order? Enjoy 40 minutes of cross examination and accusation as Jackson is joined by Zammit and Duscher to get to the bottom of the most important mystery JBSA has ever covered.

In the early 1920s Howard Carter uncovered the tomb of Tutankhamun. Then a lot of people died. Some people say these two things are related. Jackson is joined by his good friends Adam and Zammit to get to the bottom of it. This episode also features a baby and pretty much never gets on the rails. Zammit's wife makes an appearance too. If you love hearing babies smash things and touch the microphone this is the episode for you.

From 1987 to 1988 a man named Ed Walters claimed to have seen and photographed a bunch of UFOS. He definitely didn't. Jackson is joined by Joel Duscher and the irascible F**k Zammit to get to the bottom of this mystery. There's a lot of dog talk, things get pretty disgusting, but also we uncover a conspiracy maybe. Once again it is all revealed to be that perfect storm of a gullible public and a big time prankster. But it's pretty funny. Enjoy.

Since the late 1800s feet encased in footwear have washed up on the shores of British Columbia. Sometimes it's only one foot, sometimes it's both. Is this the result of some grisly serial killer? Or just ocean currents and basic decomposition? Why are the Joels so openly hostile to Jackson in this one? Join Jackson and his good friends the Joels to get to the bottom of it. There's also some Cryptid News in the middle of this episode and at one point it starts raining. Enjoy.

On July 8th 1881 James A. Garfield was assassinated by Charles J. Guiteau, he then suffered for over 70s days as his body slowly filled with pus. But who was Charles J. Guiteau ? Was he funny? The answer is yes. He is the most Plumbing the Death Star ass assassin to ever exist. A man of many failed ventures and mad ideas, his entire plan was the result of a bizarre scheme to secure himself a position as foreign representative in France. There's not much mystery here, I guess, unless you want to debate weather Garfield was killed by Guiteau or medical malpractice? Jackson is joined by the Joels in this one, it's good.

In 1770 Captain Cook quote unquote "discovered" Australia. But what if, actually, Portuguese navigators arrived before him? And what if they set up a secret colony near Broome, loaned the first nations inhabitants their word for turtle, dropped some keys, and then left for some reason? What if that huh? Well, that's the fringe theory proposed by several less than reputable historians. Jackson is joined by Adam Carnevale to get to the bottom of things and also to get very angry. Enjoy!

In the 1970s and 80s (and maybe even today) cattle farmers across the country discovered their livestock mutilated in a way that seemed beyond normal. Tongues and g******s had been removed with almost surgical precision, leaving behind mysterious bloodless corpses. What was going on? Was it aliens? Secret government experiments? Some kind of cow vampire? Jackson is joined by his dear friends Joel Zammit and Adam Carnevale to get to the bottom of it.

Some time during the colonization of Australia an Italian immigrant built a terraced winery on a mountain in Gympie, NSW. For the next hundred plus years this drove locals and pseudo-archeologists insane. Is the so called Gympie Pyramid anything other than a couple of weird rocks and an old vineyard? Jackson is joined by his good friends Joel and Adam to get to the bottom of it. Adam gets mad at psychics, Zammit falls down a kooky rabbit hole, and Jackson reminisces about an evening he spent listening to a pseudo-archaeologist detail his belief that Australia and Egypt used to be trade partners. It's a good un.

In 1923 Edward Leedskalnin built a castle in Florida comprised entirely out of nearby limestone. It's a very impressive feat, sure, but somehow over time it took on a mystical quality to the point where people were attributing to Leedskalnin all kinds of qualities and knowledges he did not have. Jackson is joined by Adam and no one else to get to the bottom of this frankly terrible man and his b******t castle. Also if you live near Coral Castle and send us merch we'd literally shit our pants in joy. Cheers xoxox

In this episode Jackson is joined by Zoe and Zammit to talk about the folkloric animals of the early American loggers. Johnny Baby is in this episode too and he's making all kinds of noises. He's yelling and it's very distracting in a way that I think you'll think is funny. This is also the second time I've uploaded this episode because I messed up the first time. It's been a long day people.

At the end of the Cold War secret Navy recordings of the deep ocean were released into the public. Alongside normal sea sounds was a mysterious 52hz noise that seemed to come from a whale of unknown origin. No other whale makes noise at this frequency, what's going on? Jackson is joined by his good friend Joel Duscher to get to the bottom of it. Is the whale just deformed? Is it an unknown species? Or is it a whale putting on a funny voice to prank oceanographers. And also a whale is basically a fish.

Starting in the late 1990s near a local locksmith a mystery vending machine from the 70s dispensed both normal and "mystery" soda to anyone willing to pay around a dollar. No one knew who stocked it, no one knew who owned it, and over time it became something of a local mystery. Jackson is joined by his good friends Adam Carnevale and Joel Zammit to get to try and figure out what the hell is happening. There's also a lot of discussion about depressions, recessions, and riding the rails. Enjoy!
