A Little Life Recap + What God Has Been Teaching Us
2026/10/01
In this episode, Maia + Blakely are sitting down for a good old-fashioned life recap - chatting about everything from pregnancy + wedding updates to moving, unexpected changes, loss, and all the little things happening behind the scenes lately.
And somewhere along the way, the conversation gets a little deeper (as it usually does). We’re sharing what God has been teaching us through seasons that haven’t always looked how we expected - from learning not to use surrender as a bargaining chip, to trusting that good things take time, to seeing how God meets us in the waiting, the loss, the change, and the really sweet things too.
Our hope is that you leave feeling a little more connected to us, but also encouraged to connect with the people God has placed around you. Call your people. Ask the deeper questions. Let them into what you’re walking through.

A Healthier Relationship with Social Media - with Siece Campbell
2026/09/10
This week, Blakely sits down with friend, influencer, and follower of Jesus, Siece Campbell — who might not be your typical influencer. While Siece has built a platform online, so much of her mission is actually about helping people get OFF their phones and back into the life God has placed right in front of them.
Siece shares honestly about her own relationship with social media, recognizing when it was becoming an idol, and what it has looked like to continually lay her platform and influence back at the altar. They talk about creating healthy boundaries with our phones, taking Sabbaths from social media, being intentional about what we consume, and finding practical ways to choose presence over scrolling.
Siece also shares the story behind the Analog Bag she created — a bag designed to help people put down their phones and rediscover offline hobbies and rhythms — which has since been featured in Vogue, Marie Claire, Business Insider, and more.
This conversation isn’t about deciding that phones or social media are “bad.” It’s about asking a bigger question: Is the way I’m using them helping me run the race God has set before me?
If you’ve ever felt distracted, consumed, or a little too attached to your phone, this episode is full of practical boundaries and honest encouragement to help you put your phone back in its proper place, be present in the life God has given you, and ultimately become a better disciple of Jesus. 🤍

Motherhood Hot Seat: w/ Maia's Mentor!
2026/08/29
As Maia gets ready to step into motherhood, she’s sitting down with her mentor, Rebekah Anderson, and asking her ALL the questions that have already been on her heart as she prepares for this new season.
How do you stay present in the season you’re actually in instead of always worrying about what’s next? How do you know which voices and advice to listen to when everyone seems to have an opinion? When do you ask for help? How do you stay close to your husband when so much of your attention is going toward your kids?'
Some of these questions come straight from things Maia is already wrestling with, and others came from YOU when we asked what you wanted to hear about motherhood!
More than anything, this conversation is a reminder that you don’t have to enter motherhood—or walk through it—with everything figured out. There is room to need help, room to learn as you go, and even room to be weak. We can invite God into every part of motherhood and trust Him to give us what we need for each new day.
Because maybe the goal isn’t to become a mom who never feels weak, but to become a mom who knows where to go in her weakness. “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 🤎
Whether motherhood is right around the corner, years away, or you’re already in the thick of it, we hope this episode feels like sitting down with a mentor and being reminded that you were never meant to figure it all out on your own.

Pregnancy After Loss
2026/08/14
After being open about her miscarriage in past episodes, Maia sits down to share about a season she’s currently walking through: pregnancy after loss.
Going into this pregnancy, Maia feared that anxiety would taint something she had prayed so deeply for-that instead of experiencing joy, she would spend nine months waiting for something to go wrong. But what she’s found is that the fear and uncertainty have actually become a beautiful invitation to depend on God more deeply and let trusted people into the places she can’t carry alone.
In this episode, Maia shares honestly about some of the struggles that have come with pregnancy after loss-from telling people she was pregnant again to navigating anxious thoughts when different symptoms or situations arose.
She also shares some of the practical things that have helped her fight fear along the way: finding a “fighting verse” to come back to, being intentional about the voices she allows into her mind and heart, guarding what she consumes, and having trusted people she can process the very real parts of pregnancy with without leaving the conversation feeling more fearful or anxious.
This episode isn’t about pretending fear doesn’t exist. It’s about learning that when it does come, we don’t have to walk through it alone. We can invite God in, invite His people in, and continue choosing truth one moment at a time. 🤎

For When You're Weak
2026/08/01
This episode is a little different. 🤎
You're listening in on a phone call between Maia and her dear friend, Lauren Snyder - a woman with such a vibrant faith and someone who continually points others back to Jesus. What started as a simple conversation quickly became one we knew we wanted to share with you.
Together, we talk about what it looks like to be weak... to not have the right words, not have it all together, and not know what to pray. Through Romans 8:26–28 and 2 Corinthians 12:9, we unpack the beauty of bringing our weakness to God instead of trying to tie a bow on every situation. Sometimes, in our desire to "be okay," we miss the sweetness of simply being God's daughters - fully known, fully loved, and welcomed into His presence exactly as we are.
Maia also shares how walking through miscarriage reshaped the way she approaches weakness and her relationship with the Lord, while Lauren vulnerably shares how her journey with brain tumors has continually taught her to depend on God's strength instead of her own. Though their stories are different, both point to the same truth: God's grace truly is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness.
We also talk about the importance of bringing trusted people into our weakness. As Christians, we're not called to hide our struggles but to let others walk alongside us. When we bring things into the light, we experience greater freedom, encouragement, and a tangible reminder that we were never meant to do this life alone.
If you're in a season where you feel weary, uncertain, or like you have to hold everything together, we pray this honest conversation reminds you that you don't have to. God meets us in our weakness, and often, He does so through the people He's placed around us. *and maybe He will let you blow your nose in His shirt LOL

Bringing God Into Our Daily Lives
2026/07/24
What does it actually look like to walk with God every single day - not just on Sundays or during your quiet time?
We hear phrases like "bring God into your daily life" or "walk with God every day" all the time - but what does that actually look like in real life? How do we practically do that?
In this episode, we're unpacking what it means to invite God into the ordinary moments of your day. We talk through three practical ways we've learned to stay connected with Him: prayer, God's Word, and praise/worship. We also share simple habits that have helped us pray throughout the day, grow in understanding Scripture, worship in the middle of everyday moments, and involve God in the little decisions that often go unnoticed.
Our hope is that this conversation leaves you feeling encouraged and equipped to stop seeing your relationship with God as something reserved for one part of your day and instead begin walking with Him in every moment.
We're so grateful you're here. 🤎

Let's Talk "Summer Bods"
2026/07/18
When the weather is hot, so is the pressure. From "getting summer body ready" to constantly comparing ourselves online, it can feel impossible to escape the messages telling us we need to look different.
But what if the battle isn't actually about our bodies?
In this episode, we're having an honest conversation about body image, comparison, and the enemy's attack on our uniqueness and our lives through the lens of Psalm 139. We talk about questions like: What would you say to the woman feeling immense pressure to look a certain way this summer? How can we actually remember God's truth about our bodies and live it out? What do we cling to when we're walking on the beach feeling insecure? And how do we respond when conversations with friends become centered around criticizing our bodies?
Throughout the conversation, we share practical ways to guard what you're consuming, stop overanalyzing your appearance, and remind yourself that you are so much more than what you look like.
If you've ever looked in the mirror wishing you were different, compared yourself to someone online, or felt like your value was connected to your appearance, this episode is for you. We're so grateful you're here. 🤎

Wrapping Up Our Relationship Series: Q&A Style!
2026/07/09
After weeks of talking all things singleness, dating, breakups, and marriage, we're wrapping up our relationship series by answering YOUR questions!
We received SO many questions (thank you!!), and in this episode we're sitting down for a true rapid-fire Q&A covering topics like: how to practically "date God," ways to put yourself out there and meet guys, feeling behind because you've never been in a relationship, getting over someone you still love, discerning a hard season vs. a relationship to walk away from, balancing friendships while dating, long-distance relationships, difficult in-laws, and more!
Some of these questions point back to conversations we've already had throughout this series, while others gave us the chance to go a little deeper. Our prayer is that wherever you are-single, dating, engaged, or married- you leave feeling encouraged to pursue relationships in a way that honors God and brings you closer to Him.
If we didn't get to your question, don't worry! Be sure to check out our "Relationships" highlight on Instagram where we've organized all of the episodes from this series by topic. There's a good chance we answered it there! And if something is still on your heart after that, we'd love for you to send us another message.
Lastly, a little heads up! You may notice the audio sounds a little different than normal in this episode (and for the next couple episodes). Our SD card decided to fail on us, after trying everything to fix it we ended up having to use our backup audio. We almost didn't share these conversations, but we truly felt the content was too encouraging and helpful not to. Thank you for giving us a little grace through the imperfect audio- we promise our normal setup will be back soon!

2026/04/24

They also talk about communication and healthy expectations in your sex life—why it matters and how openness builds deeper intimacy. And they cover navigating friendships in marriage—finding balance, staying rooted in community, and encouraging each other to invest in life-giving relationships.
This episode is full of real talk, practical tools, and reminders that strong marriages aren’t built on perfection—they’re built on intentional communication, grace, and growth.

I’m Engaged! Now What?
2026/04/17
Blakely and Maia sit down to talk all things engagement—not just the excitement, but the purpose behind the season.
In a culture focused on the wedding day, they share why engagement is really about preparing for marriage and the life you’re building together. From heart posture and expectations to premarital counseling and practical conversations, they unpack what intentional preparation can look like.
They also get honest about the emotional highs and challenges of engagement, the importance of staying rooted in God, and the reality that marriage doesn’t fix everything—it takes two committed, growing people.
This episode is a reminder to not spend more time preparing for your wedding than your marriage, and to truly make this season count.

THE Boundaries Convo
2026/04/10
Blakely and Maia sit down for an honest, sister-style conversation about boundaries—what they are, why God gives them, and how they reflect His design for our lives and relationships.
They talk about how Scripture gives us clear direction before marriage, calling us to flee from sexual immorality and to honor what God has made sacred. This isn’t just about sex, but about guarding our hearts, minds, and bodies from anything that pulls us outside of His design. At the core of it all, they remind us that boundaries are not meant to punish us—but to protect us.
The girls share what this has looked like in their own lives, opening up about past failures, lessons learned, and the ways God has met them with grace. They also walk through practical questions to ask yourself and conversations to have in relationships so you can pursue clarity, honesty, and alignment.
They gently address the weight of shame that can come with this topic, reminding listeners that no matter your past, God’s redemption is always available. But they also speak to the importance of taking sin seriously—recognizing it, surrendering it, and choosing to walk in freedom moving forward.
Ultimately, this episode is a reminder that God’s design is good, His boundaries are loving, and it’s never too late to start walking in obedience. He is not here to punish you—He’s here to protect you, restore you, and lead you into something better.

Hard Launch: Deciding if He's "The One"
2026/04/03
Blakely and Maia sit down for an honest, sister-style conversation about the “hard launch” moment in dating—is he actually the one?
They share what this looked like for both of them and unpack what it can look like to process this question with intention, reminding you that the timeline can look different for everyone. They also talk through how this stage can sometimes bring you to the hard but honest realization that he may not be the one.
The girls gently dive into the tension of wondering whether a lack of peace is about the person, or if it’s coming from fear—like fear of commitment, vulnerability, or past hurt.
They share the importance of slowing down, noticing what keeps coming up, and inviting in wise counsel—people who know you well and can help you process with clarity and truth.
Ultimately, this episode is a reminder that you don’t have to rush the answer. You’re allowed to take your time, ask honest questions, and invite the Lord into the process—trusting Him to give you the discernment you need and lead you to people that will help!

Soft Launch: Intro Into Dating
2026/03/27
Blakely and Maia sit down for a fun, honest, and sister-style conversation about the beginning stages of dating aka the ‘soft launch’ stage.
The girls dive into what it actually looks like to start dating with intention—without overcomplicating it or sucking the joy out of it. From those early stages of figuring out if you even like someone, to discerning whether it’s worth continuing, they unpack the balance between wisdom and just letting things unfold.
They talk through practical green flags to look for, red flags to be aware of, and how to stay grounded in your values while still enjoying the process. But the conversation doesn’t just focus on the other person—they also turn the lens inward, encouraging you to assess yourself too: Are you dating with clarity? Are you inviting God into the process?
With a strong emphasis on building Godly relationships and dating intentionally, Maia and Blakely remind listeners that dating doesn’t have to feel heavy or pressure-filled. It can be thoughtful and fun. You can ask meaningful questions, grow in self-awareness, and still laugh, and enjoy the experience.
Whether you’re brand new to dating or just trying to approach it in a healthier way, this is your invitation to step in with both intention and joy.

I’m *still* Single AND Thriving
2026/03/19
Maia sits down with her best friend Isla- who some may remember from the In This Together podcast- for a candid, fun, and encouraging conversation about singleness at 27.
Filled with lots of laughs and real moments, Isla opens up about grieving the expectations she once had for her life, the tension of waiting, and what it looks like to surrender those desires to God daily. She shares how singleness hasn’t always been easy, but how the Lord has been gently reshaping her perspective along the way.
Isla is a beautiful example of what it looks like to hold both joy and sadness at the same time—learning you can fully enjoy the season you’re in while still carrying unmet desires and longings.
As she continues to trust God with her future, she’s learning to dream with Him, pursue the life in front of her, and not wait on a relationship to start fully living. Instead of holding back, she’s choosing to step into joy, purpose, and freedom right where she is.
This episode is equal parts honest and lighthearted—full of encouragement, truth, and plenty of laughter for anyone navigating singleness and learning to trust God with their story. Follow us on @overflow.thepodcast for more updates on our relationship series!
Singleness: What God Taught Her in 40 Years of Waiting
2026/03/13
In today’s episode, Blakely sits down with dear friend and role model Holly Scurry Todd for a powerful and deeply honest conversation about singleness, waiting on God, and learning to surrender your timeline.
Holly shares what it was really like walking through 40 years of singleness—the hopes, the disappointments, the moments of trusting God, and the times she admits she tried to take matters into her own hands. Like many of us, her journey included seasons of questioning, wrestling, and wondering what God was doing in the waiting.
But as Holly looks back now, she sees that those years were far from wasted.
During that season, God was shaping her heart, deepening her dependence on Him, and using her life in extraordinary ways. Instead of sitting on the sidelines, Holly stepped into the calling God placed in front of her—helping launch ministries that are now impacting families across the world, rescuing people from slavery, and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
Together, Blakely and Holly talk about how to be present in singleness, how to trust God when your story looks different than you expected, and what it means to let God “romance your heart” in a way that ultimately satisfies deeper than any relationship could.
This conversation is honest, encouraging, and full of wisdom for anyone walking through a season of singleness, waiting, or learning to trust God more fully with their future.
More than anything, this episode is a reminder that God is always working in the waiting—and He wastes nothing.
