Can God Still Use Me?
2026/10/20
We tend to remember David with a slingshot in his hand. His full story is a little more complicated.
This week, Jeff and Chris walk through the life of King David: shepherd, giant killer, fugitive, king, worshiper - and a man whose choices caused tremendous harm. Why does the Bible include the ugly parts of its heroes’ lives? And what does being “a man after God’s own heart” actually mean?
With plenty of back-and-forth along the way, they explore the waiting years, the dangers of unchecked power, and David’s response when he’s confronted with his sin. It’s an honest conversation about repentance, consequences, and a faithful God who works through broken people.

Where is God in a Broken World?
2026/10/13
A few dad jokes turn into a pretty big conversation this week: why does the world feel so far from the way it should be?
Jeff and Chris head back to the beginning in Genesis 1-3, where the Bible starts with a good creation before things unravel. Together, they explore freedom, temptation, shame, and our tendency to question whether God really knows what’s best for us.
They also follow the bigger story of a God who keeps pursuing people, even when they hide from Him—and who promises that brokenness won’t have the final word.
It’s a conversation about the mess we’re living in, the choices we make, and why there’s still reason to hope.
