Leave your worries behind because Racing has won two games in one week! They’ve doubled their wins for the season in just three games, but is it sustainable? Brendan joins Tom & Kaitlyn to discuss Racing’s improved performance against the Houston Dash. The team’s losing streak was snapped, but they once again gave up a lead in the dying minutes of the game. What did the team do well? What do they need to do to protect their leads? Plus, what’s the front office doing about Emma Sears? Is it actually beneficial for anyone to keep her around? We ask all these questions & more on this week’s episode. This is a public episode. Racing returns to play with less than stellar results. A 4-0 drubbing in Portland isn’t fun for anyone, but Tom, Bekki, and Kaitlyn are more concerned about the radio silence we’ve seen from the front office throughout the break. The only hint of movement we’ve heard is Emma Sears wanting to leave and that’s not the kind of movement we were looking for! What happened to our scrappy, fight-until-the-end team? Is Kayla Fischer and 1,000 babies the solution to our problems? And, most importantly, how do you fight the apathy? This is a public episode. Racing has now lost its last 3 games, cementing the team’s last place position in the table. With only 7 points from their first 11 games, the team has a lot to think about heading into the extended World Cup break. Tom and Kaitlyn discuss what’s gone wrong, what changes need to be made, and why we still watch our favorite teams even when they’re playing poorly. This is a public episode.
