Ep. 172- Braves Bounced by Dodgers; Offensive Flaws Undeniable
2026/10/10
The 2026 Braves season is done after winning the NL East division, but coming up short once again in the playoffs. The pitching staff has a lot to be proud of, overachiving in a lot of ways after dealing with several injuries in spring training. The story of the team's demise rests mostly with the offense, that once again underperformed, marked by poor plate discipline and going totally silent in the playoffs. Alex Anthopolous has a lot to do to improve the team in the offseason, but this will be made more difficult with the impending lockout.
Ep. 171- Kerr and Fuentes Heroics Help Braves Beat Dodgers in Game 2
2026/10/06
After the Braves chose to hold off Chris Sale until game 3, many decided the Braves had no chance in game 2 against the vaunted Dodgers. But October can bring many surprises. This time, Ray Kerr, Didier Fuentes, and the rest of the Braves best relievers teamed up to halt the Dodgers offense. Michael Harris did his part on offense, and Braves did just enough to secure a game 2, 3-2 victory and even up the NLDS series, as things head to Atlanta next. Chris Sale and Yoshinobu Yamamoto will square off in game 3, while Tyler Mahle and Tyler Glasnow will go in game 4.
Ep. 170- Braves Finally Beat the Phillies

With a raucous Atlanta crowd behind them, the Braves finally solve the Phillies and punch their ticket to the NLDS to take on the Dodgers. An early home run from Michael Harris II and a heroic start from Ray Kerr set the tone early, and the Braves never surrendered the lead from there. Ozzie Albies and Matt Olson added big home runs later in the game, while Chris Sale made a surprise relief appearance to close out the game. This Braves team came through when it mattered tonight!

Since the 2021 World Series title, the Atlanta Braves have experienced postseason heartache, including three consecutive game 1 losses in 2022, 2023, and 2024. With one swing, Austin Riley kept the Braves from dropping a fourth straight game 1. In the Bottom of the 8th inning, he sent a Jhoan Duran fastball over the right center field fence for a three run homer. Join for a breakdown of game 1 and how it all sets up game 2 on Wednesday.

Ep. 167- Braves Win the NL East Title By Overcoming Big Obstacles
2026/09/22
For the first time since 2023 the Braves have won the NL Eastern division title. They did so despite suffering major injuries to their pitching staff. Key position player injuries and underperformance throughout the year also set the team back. Yet, through it all, the team did enough to keep the Phillies at bay and get back to the playoffs. Chris Sale, Matt Olson, and company deserve a lot of credit for the success they authored this season. Well done.
Ep. 166- Prospect Update: Braves' Wealth of Outfield Prospects
2026/09/18
In a year's time, the Atlanta Braves farm system has gone from a bottom 5 system to a top-half of the league system. Much of that is due to the strength of its outfield prospects. 12 of the Braves' top 30 prospects are outfields, including their top 2 prospects, Eric Hartman and A.J. Gracia. But it doesn't stop with those two guys. Braves fans should be excited for the near future.
Ep. 165- Braves Take Series Against Phillies; Magic Number at 9
2026/09/14
The Braves won a magical extra inning game on Friday against the Phillies, and followed that up with a laugher on Saturday. Despite dropping the finale on Sunday, the Braves enter the final stretch of the season up 5 games on the Phillies, and feeling good. This team has some offensive flaws, but their clubhouse culture and pitching help them find success.
Ep. 164- Acuna and Riley Lead the Comeback vs. Philly
2026/09/07
Ronald Acuna and Austin Riley, who have struggled so mightily this season lead the Braves to a major comeback win against the Phillies on Sunday. Ep. 162- Close Wins and Long-Term Pitching Questions
2026/08/31
The Braves have won 7 straight games, but offensive questions remain. Sean Murphy has started to hit again, but the offense as a whole is sputtering. Meanwhile, the current starters are doing their part and more, but long-term pitching questions loom with the injuries to Schwellenbach and Waldrep.
Ep. 161- Stider Returns, but Braves' Bats Go AWOL
2025/04/17
Despite a few good signs from Austin Riley and Sean Murphy, the Braves offense reached a new low in Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays. The offensive performance spoiled the return of Spencer Strider, and leaves fans wondering if this team can ever get it going.
