AMC premieres Rise of the 49ers, a limited 4-part docuseries, exploring the dramatic and iconic run of the San Francisco 49ers during the ‘80s and early ’90s. Black Public Media and Maryland Public Television have joined forces to present the inaugural HBCU Week NOW Student Film Festival. Ten films were selected and winners, each received a $5,000 award and a slot in the streaming film festival.
