Ep. #482: Denying the Power Thereof, 2Tim. 3:4-9
2026/10/26
Send us Fan Mail   Today, we discuss how Paul warned Timothy that modern believers would become lovers of pleasure, and be diverted by entertainment, amusement, and technology. These distractions weaken fellowship, stewardship, worship, and faithfulness. Paul described people who only had a form of godliness, were easily led astray, and were ever learning yet never reaching the truth. The main issue is how they resist the gospel like Jannes and Jambres did. This episode will challenge you, but we feel that you will enjoy studying the Word of God with us today!
Ep. #481: Q&A #48, Once Saved Always Saved
2026/10/19
Send us Fan Mail   In our 48th Q&A, which is also our 4 year anniversary of doing these fan-favorite episodes, Bro Donnie and Bro Sam refute the Once Saved Always Saved doctrine. Scripture repeatedly warns real believers can fall away, be cut off, or suffer judgment. Passages like Hebrews 6, 2Peter 2, John 15, Romans 11, and others show salvation is conditional, which means it is based on believing loyalty. These brothers define apostasy terms, covenant analogies, blotting out, and use many other examples to contradict this dangerous doctrine. We believe this study will get everyone’s attention, so come study God’s Word with us today!
Ep. #480: Pleasure or God? 2Tim. 3:3-4
2026/10/12
Send us Fan Mail   In today’s study, we go over the passage where Paul explains that in the last days people will be selfish, heartless, covenant breakers and totally untrustworthy. They will slander others, lack self‑control, act fiercely, despise good, betray loved ones, behave rashly, be arrogant, and love pleasure more than they love God. These sins destroy relationships, corrupt churches, and reveal hearts ruled by “self” rather than Christ, whose goodness the world continues to reject. We feel this episode is one that will bless you, so come study God’s Word with us!
Ep. #479: What Happens When You Love Yourself, 2Tim. 3:2
2026/10/05
Send us Fan Mail   In this episode, we dig in to where Paul explained that the sins that happen in the end‑times stem from self‑love. They lead people to covetousness, boasting, pride, and self‑pity. These things produce blasphemy, disrespect toward God and others, and rebellion against parents and all authority. As self‑will grows, people become unthankful and unholy, losing reverence for God and living profanely. Each trait reflects a heart centered on “self,” and it also reveals the moral collapse that will take place in the last days. Come and study God’s Word with us today!
Ep. #478: Taken Captive at his Will, 2Tim. 2:23-3:2
2026/09/28
Send us Fan Mail   In today’s episode we see where Paul instructed Timothy to avoid foolish and unlearned questions because they produce strife. He said that the servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle, skilled in teaching, patient, and meek when correcting those who oppose the truth. The main goal of we are to push for is that God grants them repentance because such people must be recovered from the snare of the devil. We began the 3rd chapter towards the end of this study, and we discussed how the last days will bring perilous times that are very similar to what we’re seeing right now. We’d love for you to come study God’s Word with us today!
Ep. #477: The Lord Knows Them That Are His, 2Tim. 2:16-22
2026/09/21
Send us Fan Mail   In this study, we discuss Paul warning Timothy to shun profane and vain babblings, which lead to ungodliness and destroy faith. This led us to talk about Hymenaeus and Philetus, whose false teaching was spreading like a canker, or gangrene. Despite all of these things, the foundation of God stands sure, sealed by His knowledge of His people. When we claim the name of Christ, it then becomes our duty to depart from iniquity. All believers must purge false influences, become honorable vessels, flee youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness. We feel this episode is just for you, so come study God’s Word with us today!
Ep. #476: Q&A #47: Questions about Healing
2026/09/18
Send us Fan Mail   In today’s episode, Bro Donnie and Bro. Sam tackle a listener’s deep questions about divine healing, including: Is it God’s will to heal? Is healing part of His revealed will? Why did Jesus sometimes not heal—was it unbelief? Does “by His stripes we are healed” mean physical or spiritual healing? Can sinners be healed? Does faith function mentally or through trust? Does belief affect how many healings we see? Is God testing our faith when we pray? If you have ever wondered about any of these things, this episode is for you. We invite you to come study God’s Word with us today!
Ep. #475: Study: Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth, 2Tim. 2:13-15
2026/09/14
Send us Fan Mail   In this powerful episode, we discuss how Paul taught that even when believers falter, Christ remains faithful and cannot deny Himself. He then warned us against unprofitable words because they subvert hearers from the truth. Paul told us to study so we will be approved unto God, able to rightly divide the truth. Studying scripture implants the Word within us, protects us from deception, strengthens us in doctrine, equips us with a testimony, and ensures that we truly know Christ through knowing His written Word. Come study God’s Word with us today!
Ep. #474: Sermon on the Mount Part 4, Matt. 5:33-48
2026/09/07
Send us Fan Mail   In today’s study, our 4th in the Sermon on the Mount Series, we discuss how Jesus teaches us that believers must be truthful, avoiding manipulative oaths and living with integrity so vows become unnecessary. He connected swearing, lying, broken marriage vows, and bearing God’s name in vain. He teaches us against revenge, rather urging forgiveness, generosity, and love toward our enemies. Christ calls His followers to mature holiness, reflecting the Father through truthful speech, mercy, and our godly treatment of all people. You sure don’t want to miss this episode, so come and study God’s Word with us today!
No Friday Sep. 4th Episode!
2026/09/04
Send us Fan Mail   This quick excerpt is to just let our dear listeners know that there will not be an episode today, and that today's Part 4 of the Sermon on the Mount Series will come out this coming Monday, and then we will be back to 2Timothy again for the following Monday... we are sorry for any inconvenience. God bless you all!
Ep. #473: He Can’t Deny Himself, 2Tim. 2:5-12
2026/08/31
Send us Fan Mail   In today’s episode, we dive back in where we left off, as we were studying Paul’s 3 analogies of a soldier, an athlete, and a husbandman. He used these to show believers that we must labor, strive lawfully, and endure to receive the reward. He used powerful Greek terms to highlight our need of disciplined effort. He urges Timothy to consider and remember Christ’s resurrection, noting his own suffering for the Gospel. Paul spoke of dying, suffering, or denying Christ, and these terms will determine whether we live with Christ, reign with Him, or if we will deny Him. We feel certain you will be blessed by today’s topics, so come and study God’s Word with us today!
Ep. #472: Being a Good Soldier, 2Tim. 1:13-2:4
2026/08/24
Send us Fan Mail   In today’s study, we see where Paul urged Timothy to hold fast the sound doctrine he received, keeping it through the indwelling Spirit. We see the contrast between the ex-believers in Asia who turned away, with Onesiphorus who was a loyal helper of Paul. We also discuss how Paul encouraged Timothy to rely on the strength in Christ’s grace, to commit these things to faithful men who will teach others, and to endure as a good soldier. A soldier who avoids being entangled by the world. This passage, (and this episode) emphasizes steadfast doctrine, spiritual strength, loyalty, and disciplined Christian living. We believe it is a must listen for everyone, so come study God’s Word with us today!
Ep. #471: Q&A #46 with Bro. Sam Hewitt
2026/08/21
Send us Fan Mail   In today’s episode, Bro Donnie and Bro Sam answer 5 listener questions, and they ranged from interesting to very difficult. They were asked why Jesus didn’t come before He did; whether tongues must be real languages and how to discern authentic Holy Ghost experiences; whether believers can feel shame at Christ’s appearing; whether the Hebrew man who exposed Moses altered Israel’s history; and how Pharaoh’s magicians turned their rods into serpents. You don’t want to miss this episode, it is jam packed with biblical information, and good-natured camaraderie… come on and study God’s Word with us today!
Ep. #470: Is the Faith in You? 2Tim. 1:1-12
2026/08/17
Send us Fan Mail   In today’s study, we see how Paul opens this book, affirming his apostleship and the promise of life in Christ. He expresses his love for Timothy, recalls his sincere family faith, and urges him to stir up his spiritual gift. He reminds us that believers are given power, love, and a sound mind… not fear. Timothy is not to be ashamed of Christ’s testimony, recognizing salvation and our callings come by God’s purpose and grace. He encourages us by telling us that Christ abolished death, and it for this cause Paul, who has been appointed to preach, is suffering. He knew Jesus would keep what he had committed to Him. We invite you to come study God’s Word with us today!
Ep. #469: Rich in Good Works, 1Tim. 6:17-21
2026/08/10
Send us Fan Mail   Today’s study is our last one in 1st Timothy, and we discuss the charge Paul gave Timothy to instruct the rich not to be high‑minded or trust in uncertain riches. We should rather trust in God who gives us all things richly to enjoy. He stressed our need to do good, be generous, distribute to those in need, and communicate our blessings, which lays a foundation for eternal life. We should also keep what is committed to us, avoiding profane and vain babblings, while rejecting false knowledge, because some have erred from the faith over these things. We believe this si a wonderful finish to a wonderful book… come study God’s Word with us!
