Weapon X? Check. Lies? NO. Just kidding, that was a lie. Check. DVD's? Check. But Yuriko prefers laserdisc. We got a Morph-erine episode so you know The Boyz had a fun time getting a little spooky down in some abandoned Brood-ish infested tunnels. Cody!?

Apocalypse Is On The Rise. But is the X-Boyz love of this season on the decline? Join the Boyz as they cover the many mistakes Xavier and Magnus make that lead to the inevitable ascension of their greatest foe. The Boyz talk diminishing returns on trying to recapture the emotion of “Remember It” and compare this episode’s handling of sidelined X-Men to the first two from this season. They also receive a special transmission from the future. You don’t wanna miss it!

The Boyz are back to discuss the first two episodes of the brand new season of X-Men '97. From Summers family bonding in an apocalyptic wasteland, to Jubilee X-ceeding all X-pectations, we cover it all. In this house, we NEVER skip the opening credits because they're sicker than a confederate drummer that gives you cancer.

We love fire AND we love ice. The X Boyz? They reunite. Travel back to the Victorian era as the Boyz cover some quite... sinister… origins in foggy London Town. Xavier and Gray ancestors, mutant experiments, Darwin and Jack The Ripper. And you better believe we talk Taco Bell. The Pulitzer Prize winning pod is BACK. And critics are calling it “one of the best things that’s ever happened to the world.” You don’t wanna miss it! (We're recording in a new location and had some mic / mix issues. They will be resolved in the next episode)

This episode was recorded in January 2025... It's been a while so excuse the outdated references. Thank you for sticking with us! Cannonball! We missed y’all! And we also missed our very special guest MaryElise Martin who joins us for her third time on the show as we discuss season 5 episode 8 of XMTAS: “Hidden Agendas.”  When a young Kentucky mutant (Cannonball) finds himself persecuted by his mining hometown and fiercely recruited by a suspicious military outfit, there’s only two southern charming x-men for the job — Gambit and Rogue. Nothing can touch us when we’re Baja blastin’!

We are dedicating this special episode to the brave firefighters in Los Angeles and those who have lost their property during the tragic wildfires in our beloved city. Please consider giving some of your Taco Bell money to a good cause, if you're able: https://www.gofundme.com/f/wildfire-relief-fund-2025?utm_medium=email&utm_source=product&utm_campaign=p_email_m_pd-9026-donation-tax-deductible-receipt&utm_content=internal We're interrupting our regularly scheduled season 5 coverage to bring you a VERY SPECIAL SURPRISE EPISODE. Join as The Boyz discuss the short-lived pilot episode of an X-Men animated show from 1989 -- Pryde of the X-Men(Link to watch the episode here). But this isn't any old cartoon. XMTAS wouldn't exist without Pryde and its many failures -- Aussie Wolverine in his ketchup and honey mustard suit, pervy godless Nightcrawler, Stan Lee monologues, and more! Not to mention Legendary Larry Houston and writer Legendary Larry Park both went on to work on our beloved XMTAS. But wait! There's more! This party has a special guest -- an X-pert who cherished his copy of Pryde on VHS as a child, Jacob Farmer. LET'S ROCK. USA! USA! USA! This week The Boyz (and special guest Content Dracula) are headed to war-torn Paris circa 1945. When a French scientist needs extracting from the clutches of Nazi fiends, it'll take a pair of "Old Soldiers" to save the day. Pre Weapon-X Logan is in full espionage mode along with everyone's favorite glory boy: Captain "Steve Rogers" America. And this odd couple deliver a thrilling episode that will knock your beanie off. If you thought excellent episodes of the show were dead and buried with a lackluster Season 5, Wolverine's here to desecrate that grave.

Gather round, children. It's story time this week on X-Boyz. Jubilee's trapped in a cave with some young students and decides to cook up a fantasy tale where she's the main hero for a change. Wolverine's a Troll-verine, Xavier's still problematic, and Gambit's voice sounds real dumb. It's wacky. It's goofy. And we've got special guest Keith Tripler here to help us break it all down. Some might say Jubilee isn't ready to carry her own episode. But we think our young lady has always been ready for all the adventures to have in this world.

Qué tal? Do you needa fajita? Because The Boyz are here to serve up a piping hot dish. This week they're covering Season 5 Episode 5 The Fifth Horseman (That's a lot of fives!). Beast starts a side hustle as an archaeologist who uncovers a plot to revive Apocalypse. Fabian Cortez makes his obnoxiously loud return. And when the episode is as rough as Jubilee's Spanish, The Boyz are gonna need all the help they can get. With the help of special guest Hunter Delaney, join the party as they cover X-Men and much much much much much much much more.  Fifth Horseman Recap starts @32:52 Hunter's links: Website Instagram The History of Hardcore (Graphic Novel)

Do you like your lettuce hot? Did you know the ground beef from Taco Bell is served out of a meat hose? Do you support A-list actors kissing in movies? The Boyz (and Girlz) are here to discuss a whole lot (and a little about X-Men too). Join as they cover Storm Front parts 1 and 2 featuring an intergalactic Hunk who arrives on earth begging Storm to save his home world and marry him while she's at it. Storm falls for the wrong guy and Wolverine ain't having it. And neither is our special guest Ali, who knows a little something about marrying a hunk herself.

IT'S SEASON FIVE! THE BOYZ ARE ALIVE! And they've got a whole lot of mutant mania to cover. Join Henry, Andrew, and John as they give their long-awaited Deadpool & Wolverine reactions before covering the fantastic two-part season five opener: The Phalanx Covenant. When the earth is on the verge of extinction from a techno organic alien entity that seeks to assimilate all mutants and humans alike, there's only one X-Man that can save us: our beloved Beast. And he's got a new best friend named Warlock to lend a hand (and a leg). New mutants! New menu items at Taco Bell! New X-Boyz!

It's the Season 4 (crunch)wrap-up and The Boyz are serving it to you Dumb Ass Style. That's right - we discuss Chipotle, Snowpiercer, WNBA and occasionally season 4 of X-Men the Animated Series. Thanks for hanging with us X-Fam. SEASON 5 COMIN' UP.

The Boyz wrap up the biggest, boldest season of XMTAS with Beyond Good and Evil pts. 3 and 4. You know who else is big and bold? Cable's son Tyler. There's wall-to-wall action, betrayals-on-betrayals and villain/hero team-ups where you'd least expect them. Beast punches a horse. Bishop and Cable shoot their guns a lot. And story producer Eric Lewald beats himself up for not getting to write the episode he planned for. (Stick around to hear what the ending would've looked like if this had been the finale of the series.)

Join the (nasty) Boyz as they take you for a ride through parts 1 and 2 of Beyond Good and Evil, the Season 4 finale that was nearly the series finale. These suckers are action-packed popcorn thrillers with all our favorite villains coming out to play. And there's time travel so you know Bishop and Cable are tagging in. Not to mention fan-favorite Psylocke makes her long-awaited debut. This Apocalypse arc is certain to be a primer for X-Men '97 season 2, so you don't want to miss it. And come on back next week for parts 3 and 4 as we (finally) wrap up the biggest season of XMTAS yet.

It's a very merry Morlock Christmas and the boyz are here to sing carols, open presents (at gunpoint), and spice up your bland hams. Wolverine's a scrooge. Ape's a table. Jubilee's an emotional wreck. And at long last Storm has to answer for her failure to serve as leader of our favorite sewer-dwelling mutants. So settle in with some warm cookies and a nice glass of orange juice. You might just discover the true meaning of Christmas: that ho ho home is wherever your family is. Stay tuned for a special near-death experience story at the end of the pod.
