Wayne C. Doty, is a Florida death row inmate whose life of violence spans two brutal murders and a shocking request for execution by electric chair—the only prisoner in the state to make that choice.    Serving a life sentence for the 1996 fatal shooting of night watchman Harvey Horne II during a drug-fueled robbery at a Plant City manufacturing plant,  Doty escalated his crimes in 2011 by stabbing and strangling fellow inmate Xavier Rodriguez to death alongside accomplice William E. What began as a shooting in a refinery parking lot quickly escalated into a deadly firefight, claiming the lives of Deputies Brandon Nielsen and Jeremy Triche, while wounding two others.
