David hosts a new season of Survivor from his terrible little island.  Can David and Marco put aside their differences to play the game together? Who let Infested Karen from Book #19 drink a beer as a reward? Does KA Applegate enjoy stabbing all of her literary creations in the back a little too much? Can the tyrannosaurus rex from Megamorphs #2 be trusted not to eat everyone else on the island? The Animorphs finally arrive at the secret Yeerk base. Marco and Cassie bear witness to something horrific. The kids trainhop their way home.  Why does this book have so many good ideas, and yet seem to have nothing to say in the end? Does Book 25 deliberately echo Book 11? Is Marco/Cassie possibly the Animorphs pairing with the least chemistry? Why couldn't Derek be the new Animorph instead of David? And will any of these plot threads matter in future books? The Animorphs flee into the Arctic. Marco gets delusional. Cassie is forced to be the moral authority.  Ax shares the ominous story of The Five.  Do any of the Animorphs remember why they're even on this mission? Is Tobias getting funnier, or does Marco the narrator just make everyone funnier? How does the Five's backstory compare with that of the Howlers? Are grizzly bears more dangerous than this book makes them out to be? Is skiing a kind of scooting?  Support the show Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/anidorks @anidorkspod on twitter!  Send questions to [email protected] Hey! Marco goes on a date. Erek the Chee arrives with bad news about satellites and swimming pools. Visser 3 frolics in a field. A Taxxon eats itself.  Do the Andalites have innate psychic abilities? Can the Chee swim? Does anything that happens in these first few chapters actually matter? And is our first ghostwriter... actually pretty good at this?  Support the show Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/anidorks @anidorkspod on twitter!  Send questions to [email protected] Hey! We close out the KA Applegate era of the series and catch our breath before venturing into the spooky, uncharted territory of ghostwritten books.  Heads up-- we're taking a summer break! We will return in early September with Book 25.  Support the show Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/anidorks @anidorkspod on twitter!  Send questions to [email protected] Hey! Anteaters arrive. Cells explode. The kids go skydiving into the Gardens.  Should Ax be guarding the morph cube if he never checks behind him? How small is too small? Are the Helmacrons just a parody of petty adult politics? Have the AniCoolKids finally course-corrected from their Andalite Chronicles detour? And how will Chapman face the schoolchildren after this?  Support the show Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/anidorks @anidorkspod on twitter!  Send questions to [email protected] Hey! The Animorphs redirect the Helmacrons to a new enemy: Visser 3! Cassie, Marco, and Tobias get even smaller.  Where does the morph cube get its energy from? Why was 90s media so obsessed with storylines involving shrinking? Does Ax enjoy making every dad in this series uncomfortable? And does Marco enjoy the Helmacron politics a little bit too much? The Helmacrons arrive on earth in search of the morphing cube. Cassie shrinks.  Are the Helmacrons descendants of the Nesk from Megamorphs 2? What part of the Yeerk is the drill? How do the Helmacrons have the technology to detect morphing power but the Yeerks do not? Is Cassie secretly the shortest Animorph? The Animorphs stage a trap within a trap. Tobias learns the truth about his father. Rachel throws a birthday party.  Was Elfangor's letter more for him than it was for Tobias? Were Visser 3 and Elfangor madly in love? How much did the Ellimist in terms of getting this letter to Tobias? Did Elfangor broadcast his dying screams to the whole neighborhood? And can Eddy, Miranda, and Chris make it through this cursed episode before the heat completely melts their brains?  Support the show Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/anidorks @anidorkspod on twitter!  Send questions to [email protected] Hey! Tobias and Rachel clear the air. Aria saves a kid. Toby chooses to fight back.  Is the character of Tobias liminal all the way down? What is the correct way to approach a child playing in traffic? Just how many layers are there to this conversation between Tobias and Rachel? Does Toby have too much power as a seer? And is being a werewolf a good enough excuse to get out of jury duty? Tobias and Rachel visit the world's saddest petting zoo. They they return to rescue a baby Hork Bajir.  Does Visser 3 enjoy being Aria? Can the Animorphs claim implied consent from Ket Halpak for using her morph after dunking on Hork Bajir intelligence all book? How many Tobias books are even left in this series? Is Marco crushing on Jake's authoritative side? Does Crazy Helen hang out at Frank's Safari Land? Tobias visits the free Hork-Bajir and learns that their longterm goals do not necessarily align with those of the Animorphs. Then he and Rachel hitch a ride on the roof of a cop car.  Will the Animorphs ever become more reluctant to kill Hork Bajir Controllers?  Is this the most hormonal book this far in the series? Does anyone refer to George Washington as a liberator? Can a bird be a little spoon? Is Farscape just store-brand Star Trek?  Support the show Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/anidorks @anidorkspod on twitter!  Send questions to [email protected] Hey! Hungry Tobias feuds with another hawk attempting to seize his meadow. Then Tobias has to figure out how to pass as himself in order to meet with a lawyer who claims to have knowledge about his past.  Is Book 23 the most queer-coded book yet? Why is it so difficult for Tobias to ask for help? Would Marco respect Tobias' hunting method of sparing the mother rabbit and feasting on her babies? Is Tobias inherently not human because his father is Elfangor? And is Miranda correct that this book secretly about accepting oneself as a bottom?  Support the show Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/anidorks @anidorkspod on twitter!  Send questions to [email protected] Hey! We discuss the news of a possible Ryan Cooler-produced Animorphs series and do a very special David trilogy edition of a mailbag episode to dig into listener thoughts and questions about the worst Animorph ever. Is morphing clothes always a conscious act? Will we ever get a prom book? What about a spooky book? Why is Rachel asked to endure so much more suffering than the other Animorphs? How do siblings even work? Are only children sort of their own middle sibling?  Support the show Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/anidorks @anidorkspod on twitter!  Send questions to [email protected] Hey!
