Is It Anxiety or Intuition? Why You Feel Stuck, Can’t Switch Off… & My haunted house 👻
2026/10/02
Send us Fan Mail How do you know whether it’s your intuition talking… or anxiety? Why can you know exactly what you need to do and still feel completely unable to do it? And why is switching off so difficult when you’re exhausted? In this Q&A episode of Confusion to Clarity, I’m answering three questions around anxiety, overthinking, self-trust and nervous system regulation. We talk about the difference between anxiety and intuition, checking in with your head, heart and gut, why feeling stuck isn’t always about motivation, and what can sit underneath that constant feeling of needing to do “just one more thing” before you can finally stop. Work With Me I support clients around the world with anxiety, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and personal growth through online sessions. I Just need to… A 90-minute workshop for women who struggle to stop, switch off and rest without feeling like there’s always “just one more thing” to do. https://tr.ee/N3DIANSqjl Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/clarity_coaching_hypnotherapy?igsh=ZXZ6bWNxYWFodzIx&utm_source=qr Audios and support: https://pensight.com/x/claritycoachingandhypnotherapy 🧘🏼‍♀️Join my FREE monthly meditation group  https://chat.whatsapp.com/GtUAQFHgynyKTfTXG5zMR8 www.claritych.co.uk
The Case for Boredom: Why Your Mind Needs More Space
2026/09/24
Send us Fan Mail Does your mind feel constantly busy, even when you’re supposed to be resting? Maybe you’re scrolling more, struggling to concentrate, overthinking everything or wondering where your creativity has gone. In this episode of Confusion to Clarity, I’m exploring why our brains can become so overloaded — and why it isn’t simply about spending too much time on social media. Between work, family life, messages, emails, mental load, endless to-do lists and being constantly contactable, many of us rarely experience a moment where nothing new is coming in. And when we finally do get some space, we often automatically fill it with scrolling, podcasts, notifications or more information. I talk about the difference between physical rest and mental rest, why a fragmented day can leave you feeling as though you’ve achieved nothing, and how constant input can affect your attention, creativity, intuition and ability to hear your own thoughts. You’ll also learn some simple, practical ways to create more mental space, including reducing unnecessary input, getting open loops out of your head, using Morning Pages or a brain dump, keeping a “done” list, deciding what genuinely needs your attention and deliberately creating small pockets of time where you simply allow yourself to be. If you’ve been feeling mentally overloaded, distracted, overwhelmed or like your brain never really switches off, this episode will help you understand why — and give you some practical ways to release some of that pressure. Lost Your Manifesting Spark? Here’s How to Reconnect
2026/09/11
Send us Fan Mail Have you lost your connection to manifesting, not because you no longer want more, but because fear, exhaustion and real life have taken over? In this episode of Confusion to Clarity, I explore what happens when anxiety, stress and a dysregulated nervous system leave your mind more practised at imagining what could go wrong than what could go right. This is a grounded approach to manifestation—without toxic positivity, ignoring reality or forcing yourself to believe something that feels impossible. I’ll be talking about: How stress and survival mode disconnect us from possibilityHow to carry out a simple manifestation auditUsing gratitude without dismissing what feels difficultWhy visualising an ideal ordinary week can be so powerfulCombining mental rehearsal with small, practical actionI also share a gentle seven-day manifestation reset to help you regulate your nervous system, reconnect with hope and self-trust, and begin moving from fear towards possibility. If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from what you truly want, this episode will help you create a small opening and begin again without pressure. Too Tired to Start Again? The Reset Before the Reset
2026/08/29
Send us Fan Mail I sat down to record an episode about having a September reset…better routines, clearer goals, more structure and finally feeling as though I had hold of the reins of my life again. But the most honest place I could begin was this: I feel drained. What do you do when you know something needs to change, but you feel too exhausted and overwhelmed to change it? When you are already carrying the mental load of work, family, decisions, uncertainty and everybody else’s needs, even a positive reset can feel like another demanding self-improvement project. In this episode of Confusion to Clarity, I explore the difference between being unmotivated and being depleted and why high-functioning women can look as though they are coping while quietly running on empty. Because functioning is not the same as having capacity. Sometimes the problem is not that you need more discipline, a stricter routine or another list of habits. Sometimes you are tired because you have been carrying too much for too long. In this episode, we explore: Why exhaustion is not a character flawThe hidden mental and emotional load that drains our energyHow uncertainty and identity transitions can leave us feeling stuckWhy adding more habits can make overwhelm worseThe difference between stabilising and giving upHow small, dependable promises can begin rebuilding self-trustI also guide you through four gentle places to begin: Stop, Simplify, Protect and Begin. This is not a plan for becoming a completely different person by Monday. It is an invitation to put something down, make life a little lighter, protect what restores you and choose one small anchor that helps you feel steadier. If you have been telling yourself that you are lazy, behind or failing when the truth is that you feel burnt out and overwhelmed, this episode is for you. Perhaps your reset does not need to begin with doing more. Perhaps it begins with understanding what you have been carrying and giving yourself permission to put some of it down. Listen now and discover what your own reset before the reset could look like. “If You’re Overthinking Everything: How to Calm Anxiety and Regain Clarity”
2026/08/13
Send us Fan Mail Life feels overwhelming when your brain decides everything needs solving right now. In this episode of Confusion to Clarity, we explore why anxiety and overwhelm can create a false sense of urgency,  leading to overthinking, decision paralysis, mental overload and trying to predict problems that haven’t even happened yet. We’ll look at the difference between problem-solving and anxious looping, why regulating your nervous system can help you think more clearly, and the powerful questions: Does this need my attention right now? And is this actually mine to solve? You’ll also learn why self-trust doesn’t mean having all the answers. Sometimes it simply means being able to say, “I don’t know yet and I trust myself to handle what comes next.” If you’re feeling overwhelmed, overthinking everything or putting pressure on yourself to have life figured out, this episode is your permission to stop chasing certainty and create some space for clarity instead. Regulate first. Solve second. 🌿 Work With Me I support clients around the world with anxiety, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and personal growth through online sessions. What Your Younger Self Couldn’t Have Known | Healing Regret, Anxiety & Self-Trust
2026/07/31
Send us Fan Mail In this episode, we explore why it’s so easy to judge your past self with the knowledge you have today and how that keeps anxiety, regret and self-criticism alive. You’ll learn why your younger self made the decisions she did, how fear and survival shaped your choices, and how self-compassion can help you rebuild trust in yourself. If you’ve ever thought “I should have known better,” this episode will help you see your story through a kinder, more healing lens. 2026/07/16
Send us Fan Mail Have you ever noticed that by the time the holiday finally arrives, you already feel as though you need a break? For many women and mums, travel anxiety is not simply about flying, unfamiliar places or leaving home. It is the overwhelm of planning the journey, checking passports, packing for everyone, organising the pets, buying everything the family needs and feeling responsible for making sure the entire trip runs smoothly. In this episode, we  explore the hidden mental load behind family holidays and why something exciting can quickly begin to feel like another enormous project to manage. why travel overwhelm can be mistaken for anxietywhy the build-up often feels harder than the holiday itselfhow overthinking, checking and trying to prevent every problem increase stressthe difference between somebody helping and genuinely taking ownershipwhy mums often feel responsible for everyone else’s enjoymenthow to let go of perfection, share the mental load and build greater self-trustYou can feel grateful for the holiday and overwhelmed by everything involved in making it happen. You can be excited and anxious at the same time. Why Your Mind Keeps Proving You Right: How Self-Talk Shapes Anxiety and Beliefs
2026/07/10
Send us Fan Mail What conversations have you been having with yourself lately? Not just the ones you have with your partner, your children or your friends, the ones inside your mind.  In this episode of Confusion to Clarity, I explore how the words and stories we repeatedly rehearse can shape our beliefs, influence our nervous system and change the way we experience our lives. This isn’t about positive thinking or pretending difficult things don’t happen. It’s about becoming aware of the internal conversations that have become so familiar, we’ve stopped questioning whether they’re actually true. We’ll explore: Why familiar thoughts can begin to feel like factsHow your inner voice affects anxiety, confidence and self-beliefThe role of the Reticular Activating System in filtering what you noticeHow confirmation bias encourages your mind to collect evidence for old storiesWhy your brain may overlook moments of calm, success, love and connectionHow neuroplasticity allows you to create new patterns over timeI also share one of my favourite reminders: Your nervous system doesn’t ask, “Is this true?” It asks, “Does this feel familiar?” This episode will help you become curious about the stories your mind has been trying to prove  and begin noticing the evidence that may have been there all along. Because the conversations you repeat don’t just shape how you feel. They shape what you notice, what you believe and what you expect from yourself and the world around you.  Work With Me I support clients around the world with anxiety, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and personal growth through online sessions. 2026/07/03
Send us Fan Mail Why does your mind keep reopening old conversations, relationships and decisions you’ve already thought about a hundred times? In this episode of Confusion to Clarity, I explain why your mind behaves like a detective that refuses to close the case—not because you’re broken or going backwards, but because your subconscious is still trying to keep you safe. You’ll discover: Why your brain keeps searching for “one more clue.”How anxiety and overthinking become protective habits. Why familiar stress can feel safer than moving forward. How rebuilding self-trust helps your mind finally close the file.If you’re tired of replaying the past, second-guessing yourself or feeling stuck in overthinking, this episode will help you understand what’s really happening beneath the surface—and how to move forward with more confidence and clarity. 💻 Work With Me I support clients around the world with anxiety, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and personal growth through online sessions. Why Relationships Change When You Finally Choose Yourself!
2026/06/24
Send us Fan Mail Have you ever noticed that when you stop chasing, fixing, over-giving or carrying everyone else, something starts to shift? Maybe a friendship feels different. Maybe a relationship changes. Maybe people who were used to having unlimited access to your time, energy and emotional support suddenly seem uncomfortable. In this episode of Confusion to Clarity, I’m exploring why relationships often change when you finally choose yourself. We’ll talk about what happens when you stop people pleasing, stop over-functioning and start paying attention to your own needs for a change. I’ll also explain some of the psychology and nervous system science behind why certain relationship dynamics develop in the first place—and why your growth can sometimes feel uncomfortable not only for you, but for the people around you. In this episode, we’ll explore: ✨ Why relationships can feel different when you stop doing all the emotional heavy lifting ✨ The link between anxiety, people pleasing and over-responsibility ✨ What happens when you pull your energy back from one-sided relationships ✨ Why some people grow with you and others resist the changes ✨ The impact boundaries can have on your emotional wellbeing ✨ Why choosing yourself isn’t selfish, even if it feels uncomfortable ✨ Three practical ways to start reclaiming your energy without guilt If you’ve been feeling exhausted, overwhelmed or frustrated because relationships seem to change when you start putting yourself first, this episode will help you understand what’s really happening. Because sometimes the healthiest thing we can do isn’t give more. It’s stop giving away parts of ourselves that we need to keep. 💻 Work With Me I support clients around the world with anxiety, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and personal growth through online sessions. “Why Knowing What To Do Isn’t Enough (And What’s Really Keeping You Stuck)”
2026/06/10
Send us Fan Mail  You Know What To Do, Why Are You Still Stuck? You’ve read the books. You’ve listened to the podcasts. You’ve watched the videos, saved the posts and spent hours analysing your thoughts, behaviours and patterns. So why do you still feel stuck? In this episode of Confusion to Clarity, we’re exploring a frustrating experience many high-functioning women face: knowing exactly what needs to change, yet struggling to actually make that change happen. Whether it’s setting boundaries, leaving an unhappy relationship, overcoming anxiety, prioritising yourself, stopping people-pleasing or making an important life decision, awareness alone is often not enough. Understanding the problem is only the beginning. Real transformation happens when we begin participating in a different way of thinking, feeling and behaving. In this episode, you’ll discover: ✨ Why self-awareness doesn’t automatically create change ✨ The difference between awareness and participation ✨ Why so many intelligent, capable women remain stuck despite years of personal development work ✨ The hidden reasons we avoid taking action, even when we know what needs to happen ✨ How anxiety, fear and nervous system responses can keep us trapped in familiar patterns ✨ Practical steps to help you move from insight into action If you’ve ever found yourself thinking: “I know what I need to do, but I just can’t seem to do it…” This episode is for you. Because transformation doesn’t happen when you learn something new. It happens when you begin participating in your own growth.  💻 Work With Me I support clients around the world with anxiety, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and personal growth through online sessions. When Did This Become Normal? The Hidden Mental Load Women Carry
2026/06/02
Send us Fan Mail Have you ever felt exhausted, overwhelmed or resentful… despite doing everything “right”? Maybe you’re the one who remembers the school dates, organises the holidays, manages the diary, notices when something needs doing, keeps everyone else going and somehow still shows up for work, family and life. From the outside, you look like you’re coping. Inside, you’re tired. In this episode, we explore a hidden experience many high-functioning women carry: the emotional exhaustion of feeling like you’re carrying life alone. This isn’t about blaming men or criticising relationships. It’s about acknowledging the invisible mental and emotional load so many women have normalised for years and the impact it’s having on our nervous systems, our wellbeing and our relationships. We discusses: ✨ Why emotional loneliness can exist even when you’re surrounded by people ✨ The invisible mental load many women carry every day ✨ Why being “the strong one” often comes at a cost ✨ The connection between anxiety, overwhelm and emotional responsibility ✨ Why modern women are often expected to work like they don’t have children, whilst parenting like they don’t work ✨ How years of over-functioning can lead to burnout, resentment and nervous system exhaustion ✨ Three practical ways to begin creating more balance and support in your life If you’ve ever found yourself thinking: “I can cope with hard things… I’m just tired of carrying everything.” Then this episode is for you. Because strength isn’t supposed to mean permanent exhaustion. And sometimes the first step towards change is simply realising you’re not the only one who feels this way. 🎧 Listen now and discover why so many women are feeling emotionally overwhelmed and what you can start doing to lighten the load. 💻 Work With Me I support clients around the world with anxiety, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and personal growth through online sessions. Why High-Functioning Women Feel Exhausted Holding Everything Together.
2026/05/21
Send us Fan Mail In this episode, I’m talking about the hidden exhaustion so many high-functioning women carry every single day. The mental load. From anxiety and hypervigilance to nervous system overwhelm and emotional burnout, this episode explores why so many women struggle to truly switch off,  even when nothing is technically “wrong.” I also talk about:  • high-functioning anxiety  • emotional overload  • relationship and family mental load  • hypervigilance and overthinking  • why rest can feel uncomfortable  • the nervous system and survival mode  • practical ways to start reducing emotional overwhelm If you’ve been feeling mentally exhausted, emotionally drained or like your brain never fully switches off, this episode will help you feel seen, understood and less alone.
