In a scene nearing the end of the movie, the mother of the Freeling family, Diane, is dragged into the in ground pool, where she is surrounded by skeletons floating to the surface. At this time, in Hollywood, it was said to have been cheaper to fly in ACTUAL human skeletons, instead of buying synthetic. And, that scene would be believed to be the catalyst to what some would deem The Poltergeist Curse, because what would follow would be a series of untimely, horrific and downright strange deaths of actors who were involved in one or all of the Poltergeist films.  This case does involve severe domestic assault and the death of a child, so please listen with care. Send us a text Following the horrific killings of 6 members of the DaFeo family in 1974, a new family; The Lutz's would move into the same home at 112 Ocean Avenue in Amityville New York. What would follow would be 28 days of horror, according to the Lutz family.  Was everything that happened over that short period of time brought on because of the horrific murders of the DaFeo family, was there something dark about the house, long before- and did the house itself play a part in the murders? Or was this all just a house in which something horrible had happened, and the Lutz's saw its potential to earn some extra money by telling their story of demonic hauntings, red eyed pigs, and a haunting so terrifying that they would be forced to flee in the middle of the night, leaving behind all of their possessions. This is the story of The Amityville home. Send us a text In 2016 Tex McIver would claim that he had been holding his gun in the back seat of his Ford Expedition, due to his nerves of being in a bad part of Atlanta Georgia when he drifted off to sleep. After being jolted awake his gun would discharge, firing into the back of the passenger front seat, where his wife Diane was sitting. Diane would later succumb to her injuries, and then the question would arise, did Tex intentionally shoot Diane, or was it all just a horrible (albeit, wildly irresponsible) accident? Send us a text In 2018 Canadian pop rock band Hedley was at the height of their career, that was until a twitter user made a post asking for anyone who has had an inappropriate or uncomfortable experience with the band, to come forward and share their story, and with in a short period of time, she would already have over 60 people sharing their first hand stories, which ranged from, somewhat inappropriate to actual assault, the bands management team would drop the band instantly, almost as if they had been waiting for this day to come. Within the first 2 hours, the media had already decided that this was the result of two kids who were bullied, who listened to Marilyn Mason, and who were apart of something called 'The Trench Coat Mafia' and in reality, none of that was true. The Parents of school shooter Ethan Crumbley would go down in history as the first parents to be charged with Involuntary Manslaughter, following the devastation that was brought on by their son on November 30th, 2021, after Prosecutor; Karen McDonald would question, what, if anything they knew about what their son was planning. The gross negligence that she would discover would leave her without a choice but to charge them. Send us a text Trigger warning for, all of the things! child abuse, child death, domestic violence, suicide* In 1971 it was determined that a 4 month old baby boy had lost his life in a horrible accident, that involved, his nearly 2 year old sister, Tracey, having thrown him from his crib resulting in a head injury. As his sister grew up, she had never known the true cause of her little brothers death, and her mother Kathie had often given her conflicting stories. It was not until Tracey was older, with children of her own that she thought to request baby Matthews medical records, and that was when she learned the devastating news that she was listed as the reason for his passing. Many things did not add up for Tracey, but when she watched her own 18 month old daughter struggling to pick up a gallon of milk that they had just brought home from the store, she couldn't help but wonder how, at such a young age she was able to do what she was being accused of. To lift a 4 month old high enough to get him out of a crib, just did not add up.
