Many of us can get frustrated because it seems like God isn't moving. We pray, we wait, we trust, and wonder if anything is happening. All of us are so surrounded by noise… News, social media, financial pressures, political arguments, endless notifications, and daily distractions.  If it ever seems too depressing, to frightening, too overwhelming… Just plain too much, then I think you'll find peace in this week's message. How are you building your life? Maybe a better question is, "What are you building your life on?" If you ever feel uncertain about what the foundation of your life is - Image, Money, Popularity, Possessions, Pleasing people, Prestige, etc. (Most of us have) - Then this week's message is for you: This is what I know. Jesus wants you to thrive, not strive! The challenge can be that there are so many things that are contending for our attention! Jesus also reminded us that we will have storms in our lives. He was crystal clear. He didn't say, "If we will have storms," he said, "When we have storms!" I want you to be rooted, built-up, and not ripped off, when the storms come! One thing that I know, and God's word tells us, is whatever fills our minds eventually shapes our lives. If you have fearful thoughts, you're going to act fearfully.
