2026/09/29
I’ve been seeing many discussions on Threads about maternity leave planning for small businesses. And it’s interesting to see everyone’s viewpoints on whether you should take maternity leave as an entrepreneur. Since this was my second time being pregnant as a business owner, I figured it would be helpful to share my experience with not taking maternity leave and planning for a 3-month leave. If you’re currently pregnant or planning to get pregnant while running your business, definitely listen to this episode. I give you some things to think about when it comes to maternity leave while running your business, and I share some things I did to make this last maternity leave peaceful and profitable. Side Note: I recorded this before I returned from my leave. Originally, I planned to take the full 3 months, but I decided to return a month early and took on 3 new clients for September. In this episode, I'm giving you all the tea on: While all small businesses should prep for maternity leave, even if you don’t plan to officially take oneWhy I regret not taking a maternity leave the first time I was pregnant while running my businessWhat I did to prep my clients, marketing, and income for maternity leave Resources Mentioned in Today's Episode: Evergreen Marketing AcceleratorPodcast Like a Business Owner Podcast Launch CourseInterested in learning more about my new offer, DFY Threads for Podcast Growth? 305. Why Most Podcast Launch Courses Set Business Owners Up to Fail
2026/05/26
There are many podcast launch courses out there, but most set business owners up to fail. A lot of these podcast launch courses focus on the how of podcasting, and that’s where the support ends. When you are starting a podcast as a marketing and sales asset, you need more than the how of podcasting. You need a strategy that will help you connect with podcast listeners who are a good fit for your offers and convert them into your offers.
