We got a two parter! We got a two parter! A story told in two, however Emerson and Jarred only cover part one of this epic saga, here. Helen wants to try out for the local orchestra but she doesn't have an instrument. Fay wants to try out for the local play but she's no Oprah. This is quite the gutsy story - fish guts! Also up for discussion is news of the day from the episodes release, February 11, 1993, courtesy of the Nantucket Inquirer and Mirror newspaper. In this episode of Wings, "Labor Pains" (S.04E.13), Lowell attempts murder, an issue that Jarred can't get over but Emerson and the rest of the world, don't seem to mind. Y'see, Lowell is angling for a raise by leveraging a job offer in Boston. Hilarity and premeditated, attempted murder ensue. Oh, we also meet Brian's blankey. In this episode of Wings, "What the Cabbie Saw" (S.04E.12), Brian and Joe reunite with an old classmate they bullied, whom is now a cop, and Lowell takes a turn running Helen's counter. Emerson and Jarred will talk about that, plus they'll also discuss what this episode was really about. Also up for discussion is news of the date of episodes release, January 14, 1993, courtesy of Nantucket's Inquirer and Mirror. Yes, Jarred's audio is bad this episode. He recorded with the gain too high. He did his best to clean it up and make it listenable. Sorry! Won't happen again, okay. OK?! MUSIC BY - EJ Fojas WRITE US: [email protected]

I just realized I mentioned Bob Lazar in this episode and this episode of Wings is from season 4 and Lazar worked at S4 at Area 51 - Whoa! But anyhoo, what we're here to do is talk about this episode of Wings, Exit Laughing, and what it's all about comes down to Helen dating one of Joe's old friends, and hes like a hunk and everything but Helen has just one teensy weensy issue with the dude that could complicate romance. Also Antonio wants his beauty rest but some neighbor is blowing leaves and waking him up, and Roy might just want to white night his little Italian friend. Emerson and Jarred are here to talk about every minute detail of the episode - way more actually than is necessary. Also, Jarred gets the Topogigio reference (you had to be there) but somehow even though it connects to him that that's an apt descriptor of Antonio it simultaneously flies over his head that Topogigio is Italian and Jarred thinks he's a bunch of other nationalities for some reason?! They're also reading news from the Nantucket Inquirer and Mirror and other sources from the day of the episodes release, January 7, 1993. If you make it through this 2 hour discussion of a 20 minute show you've earned your merit badge; send us a self addressed stamped envelope and we'll get that right out to you.
