I Was Nearly Scammed Out of £1,000 – Please Don’t Ignore These Red Flags
2026/02/23
In this episode, I’m sharing something that feels a little embarrassing… but important. This week, I came within one click of losing £1,000 to a very convincing online scam. As someone who runs online businesses and considers herself fairly tech-savvy, I genuinely didn’t expect to get caught this close. From a fake email and live chat, to a follow-up phone call from overseas, the whole experience was sophisticated, familiar, and almost believable. It was only at the final moment — when asked to approve a £1,000 payment to a stranger — that my gut instinct finally kicked in. In this episode, I talk about: How the scam unfolded step-by-stepThe subtle red flags I nearly ignoredWhy even confident, capable women can be vulnerable onlineWhat I did immediately to protect myselfHow to support elderly relatives who may be at greater riskPractical tips to spot suspicious emails and activityIf this episode stops just one person from making a costly mistake, it will be worth sharing — even if I do feel like a bit of a “plonky head.” Please pass this episode on to anyone who might benefit. Awareness is powerful. Lots of love,  Beth x
A Gentle Reminder - You're Amazing Just The Way You Are
2026/02/16
Hi, I’m Beth — and this episode is a little different. The other day I was looking for a podcast that didn’t tell me to do more, achieve more, or optimise everything. I just wanted something gentle that said: You’re okay. Just as you are. So today, I’m giving you that reminder. You don’t have to track every step, follow every rule, or strive for perfection. You’re allowed to pause. You're allowed to sit with where you are in life right now and just "be".  I share why it’s okay to embrace your quirks, your tangents, your imperfections, and why sometimes simply being is enough. If this episode resonates, save it for a day you need it, share it with a friend, and consider following the show on Apple Podcasts. You are amazing — just as you are. Lots of love,  Beth 🤍

Imposter Syndrome in Women: Why You Feel This Way (& How to Stop It Holding You Back)
2026/02/02
Imposter syndrome in women is far more common than we realise — especially among capable, high-achieving women. In this episode, I gently unpack imposter syndrome, why it shows up, and why so many women quietly feel like they don’t belong — even when the evidence suggests otherwise. I talk about why imposter syndrome isn’t a personal failing, how our internal self-talk can lag behind external success, and how to work with these feelings without letting them silence you or make you play small. In this episode, I explore: Why imposter syndrome in women is so commonThe gap between external validation and internal dialogueHow fear, visibility, and old narratives fuel imposter syndromeHow to create distance from self-doubt without dismissing itWhy confidence and growth can coexistIf you’ve ever felt like you’re “about to be found out,” this episode will help you respond with clarity instead of fear — and remind you that you’re not alone. Why Midlife Is the Perfect Time to Unplug, Unsubscribe & Let Go (And How To Do It!)
2026/01/26
Midlife is so often framed as a time to add more — more routines, more supplements, more goals, more self-improvement. But lately, I’ve been craving the opposite. Less noise. Less pressure. Less clutter. More space, calm, and freedom. In this episode, I’m sharing a simple framework that’s helping me simplify life in midlife — built around five small but powerful shifts, all starting with “UN.” Inspired by the Chinese Year of the Snake, the transition into a new life phase, and ten years of running my work online, I explore how letting go — rather than adding more — can be deeply supportive at this stage of life. In this episode, I talk about: Why unplugging is essential for calming our nervous systemsHow unsubscribing and unfollowing can dramatically reduce mental clutterWhat it really means to untangle overcomplicated routines and emotional obligationsWhy unloading physical clutter (and old identities) feels different in midlifeHow creating space allows us to unleash a more aligned next chapterThis episode is for any woman who feels overstimulated, overextended, or quietly pulled toward a simpler way of living — without needing to overhaul her entire life. As a takeaway, I invite you to choose just one “UN” to try this week and notice how it feels in your body. Less effort. More ease. A lighter way forward. If this episode resonates, I’d love you to share it with a friend who may be feeling the same pull to simplify.

2026/01/12
Have you ever noticed how your energy feels magnetic one day and completely flat the next — even when nothing obvious has changed? In this episode, I explore energy in all its forms — physical, emotional, and spiritual — and how it quietly shapes how we feel, think, and show up in the world. This is a gentle meander into noticing your energy, understanding why it dips, and learning how to protect and replenish it without guilt. I share personal stories, everyday examples, and simple practices to help you work with your energy rather than constantly fighting it. In this episode, I explore: What energy really is (beyond just feeling tired)How emotional energy spreads between peopleWhy overwhelm is simply energy spread too thinHow to notice energy dips before they spiralGentle ways to recenter your energyHow to protect your energy without being selfishThis episode is for you if you’ve been feeling scattered, depleted, or overly affected by the energy around you. 10 Quiet Beliefs That Were Shaping My Life (Without Me Noticing) - How To Question The Ones Shaping Yours
2026/01/05
🎧 Short Description: In this episode I  explore 10 common beliefs about success, worth, and happiness that we often accept without questioning—and how pausing to notice them can help you feel more content, confident, and present today. 📖 Full Show Notes (SEO Optimized): Have you ever noticed how much of life we live on autopilot, believing things without ever questioning them? I had one of those moments recently while scrolling through my camera roll: the photos that made me smile weren’t achievements, awards, or milestones—they were ordinary, messy, human moments with friends, family, and nature. It made me realise that the life I thought I was striving for was already here. In this episode, I reflect on 10 common beliefs that quietly shape our lives—from “striving equals worth” and “contentment comes after achievement” to “external validation matters” and “I’ll enjoy life later.” I share how these beliefs can limit us and how asking simple questions like “Does this truly serve me?” can shift perspective and create more joy in everyday life. I also explore practical ways to reclaim presence, trust yourself, and celebrate what’s already here. We talk about learning from younger generations, embracing ease instead of struggle, wanting less without losing ambition, and appreciating your body as a source of experience, not a problem to fix. This episode is an invitation to pause, reflect, and notice the joy that’s available in ordinary moments. 💡 Key Takeaways: Striving doesn’t equal worth.Contentment lives in the present, not the next milestone.Internal validation is more reliable than external praise.Your body is a gateway to experience, not a project to fix.Choosing “enough” can be freeing without being unambitious.🔗 Resources & Links: Listen to my episode on internal validation and self-worth: Internal Validation: How to Build Self-Worth When Praise Starts to Fade Connect with me on Instagram: @bethgoodrham ✨ Why Listen: If you’ve ever felt pressured to strive, chase validation, or wait for “later” to enjoy life, this episode offers gentle, actionable insights to pause, question old beliefs, and rediscover the joy and presence that’s already around you.
You Don’t Need a New Diet — You Need Personalised Data : How a glucose monitor reveals what works for your blood sugar, mood & energy
2025/12/29
In this episode, I’m diving into one of the most fascinating health tools I’ve ever used: a continuous glucose monitor (CGM). After following a low-sugar, low-carb lifestyle for 2.5 years, I wanted to know exactly what was happening inside my body — and the results were eye-opening. I’m sharing: Why I wore a CGM for 14 daysWhy blood sugar stability mattersThe real difference between calories and glucose spikesThe surprising food experiments I ran (cream slices, brownies, nuts & Prosecco!)What I learned in Week 1 vs Week 2My official resultsAnd how you can use this data to support your own energy, hormones, mood & metabolism — no keto requiredIf you want to go deeper, I’ve linked to my full blog post with all the graphs, plus my 7-day low-sugar, low-carb meal plan to help you get started easily. Internal Validation: How To Build Self Worth When Praise Starts To Fade
2025/12/22
In this episode, I’m exploring internal validation — the quiet confidence that comes from trusting yourself instead of relying on praise, approval, or other people’s opinions. It's a skill that many of us were never taught! If you’ve ever felt unsettled by a comment, comparison, or expectation (especially in midlife), this one is for you. This feels especially important at this time of year. Christmas has a way of thinning the skin, even if you’re generally confident. A comment lands harder than it should, a comparison sneaks in, or suddenly you’re questioning yourself. This episode is about learning how to steady yourself from the inside — without relying on anyone else to turn the heating back on. In this episode, I cover: What self-worth really is (and why you don’t have to earn it)The difference between external and internal validationWhy so many women are conditioned to seek approvalHow to strengthen internal validation in practical, everyday waysWhy midlife can be a powerful time for strength, clarity, creativity, and reinventionIf you’ve ever felt knocked off balance by someone’s opinion, a family dynamic, or your own inner critic, I hope this episode helps you come back to yourself. 2025/12/08
In this episode, I help you ditch the “I’ll start again in January” mindset and show you how to step into the new year already feeling strong, grounded and proud of yourself — not frazzled or starting from scratch. Why Getting Dressed Feels Harder Now — And How to Make It Easy Again
2025/11/24
Years ago, when I was styling, I worked with lots of women older than me. There were some things they said that I didn’t fully get at the time: “I feel invisible.” “I only wear jeans, I can’t imagine wearing anything else.” “I’ve lost my confidence.” Back then, I could sympathize, but I couldn’t truly relate. Fast forward a few years… and now I do. There are days I feel the same way myself, and that’s exactly what I want to talk about today: why getting dressed can feel tricky as we age, and how to make it simple, enjoyable, and confidence-boosting again. I share five practical style secrets that have helped me — and countless women I’ve worked with — feel put together every day without spending a fortune or exhausting ourselves: Mindset matters. The right outfit is the one that makes you feel good, not perfect. Even a cozy jumper and jeans can feel empowering if you add a little sparkle or a piece of jewelry that makes you smile.Dress for your lifestyle. Spend more on everyday essentials that keep you comfortable and happy, rather than splurging only on special events. Think jeans you love, sneakers that feel amazing, or a coat that keeps you warm and dry.Know what you love. Style is about knowing what makes you happy, not chasing trends. Pull inspiration from anywhere — interiors, nature, magazines — and prioritize fabrics and fits that feel good against your skin.Create simple systems. Organize your wardrobe so your favorites are visible, rotate pieces regularly, and let go of items that no longer spark joy. Even small changes can make getting dressed effortless.Find your unique style details. Bow, frill, puff sleeve, gold buttons, a particular color — your personal “signature” can be subtle, but it makes you feel intentional and put together every day.If you’ve ever felt like your wardrobe is overwhelming or uninspiring, this episode is for you. These small shifts — in mindset, systems, and knowing what you love — can make getting dressed feel joyful again. You deserve to feel seen, confident, and comfortable in your clothes every single day.
Weight Lifting vs Life at a Gentler Pace: Finding the Harmony Your Midlife Body Needs
2025/11/17
Have you ever felt torn between enjoying a peaceful yoga session, a mindful walk, or time in the garden — and feeling like you should be in the gym, lifting weights and tracking protein? This is one of the biggest tensions for women in midlife. In this episode, I explore the midlife paradox: the pull to slow down, rest, and embrace mindfulness versus the push to stay strong, build muscle, and prioritize your health through weight training for women. How do we honor both needs without feeling like we have to choose one over the other? We’ll dive into why this tension exists, practical ways to integrate mindful movement with weight training for women, and tips for creating a lifestyle that supports both calm and strength. You’ll discover how slowing down doesn’t mean giving up, and building strength doesn’t mean losing your softness — both can coexist beautifully. While this episode is designed for you, it’s also something I’m navigating myself. Over the years, I’ve learned that mindful rest and intentional strength training aren’t opposites; together, they create resilience, vitality, and balance. By the end, you’ll feel empowered to embrace both sides of the paradox — cultivating mindfulness while protecting your body and health through weight training for women. It’s about creating a midlife rhythm that works for your energy, your body, and your lifestyle.
