We are living in difficult times.  Roll reversals are in effect meaning parents are the children and children are the parents.  We are living in the "Gen Z" era.  The younger generation want "it" NOW!  Back in the day, during the late night newscast aired, the pre-roll audio began with "It's 10 o'clock, where are your children?"  Those days are long gone.  However, it would be great, if we could regain discipline and respect for each other. As a mortician/embalmer, I have prepared many teenagers and young adults from gunshots, stabbings, suicides, homicides, and natural causes.  Long story short, please discipline and monitor your loved ones.  It's not pleasant seeing your child on the preparation table and casketing them for a private and/or public viewing, followed by a funeral service, then burial.   Share your stories with me.  Email me [email protected].

Pre-Need is a 'Must Have!'  It will follow you to your demise/death.  If you obtain a Pre-Need in Texas, for example, and you move to New Jersey, what happens to your money, your pre-need?  Will you lose your money or pre-need?  No.  Regardless, if you purchased your pre-need from a funeral home or mortuary in your community, and you relocate to another city, the receiving funeral home or mortuary MUST accept the pre-need plan at the original cost.  However, if items are added to the original pre-need plan, those items will be charged to the new Funeral Purchase Agreement.
