Field Notes: The Condign Report & the Plasma Theory of UAP
2026/09/22
Send us Fan Mail Welcome to Field Notes — shorter Fortean Winds investigations built around a single document, case, study or piece of research we think deserves attention. For the first Field Note, RamX returns to Project Condign, the massive classified UAP study conducted for the UK's Ministry of Defence using thousands of sighting reports collected over decades. The report contains an extraordinary sentence: “That UAP exist is indisputable.” But its conclusions weren't crashed spacecraft or extraterrestrial visitors. The authors instead explored whether many UAP could represent poorly understood atmospheric plasma phenomena—charged formations capable of unusual movement, apparent shape changes and potentially even effects on human perception. That leads into some of the strangest material in the report: correlations with meteor activity, electromagnetic effects, apparent triangular and cigar-shaped objects, possible neurological effects on witnesses, and speculation about whether some classic encounter experiences could originate in the interaction between unusual electromagnetic environments and the human brain. RamX also looks at the famously redacted sections of Condign. Newly uncovered material complicates the assumption that those black bars concealed extraordinary discoveries: some apparently hid little more than unverified speculation about rumored classified aircraft. None of that makes Condign a solved case. The report itself struggled to explain how the proposed plasma phenomena could remain coherent for the durations witnesses sometimes reported. And that's precisely why it's worth revisiting. The classified material may be less interesting than the science that wasn't classified at all. Field Notes is where RamX and Bones can quickly share research we don't want sitting in a folder waiting for a full episode. Let us know if you'd like to hear more of them. The Evidence Problem: UAP Disclosure, Nazca & Buga
2026/09/08
Send us Fan Mail Before recording this episode, RamX sat in on a briefing about a question the UAP community rarely asks: If disclosure happens, how should you actually tell people? The Sol Foundation's new disclosure study is using a nationally representative discrete-choice experiment to test how Americans respond to different messengers, evidence, verification methods and disclosure scenarios. The project comes as Sol leadership participates in the government's UAP Science Advisory Council and advocates a phased approach to disclosure.  Then RamX and Bones return to two physical cases Fortean Winds has followed for years: the Nazca bodies and Colombia's Buga Sphere. With the Nazca material, some specimens and claims have fallen apart under scrutiny. Others remain more difficult to explain. The episode looks at the independent forensic work, the unusual anatomy attributed to the specimen known as Maria, and the scientific testing that could move the case forward. Then there's the Buga Sphere. Claims surrounding the object include seamless construction, unusual internal structures, exotic materials, extreme age and mysterious surface symbols. Some observations deserve further investigation. Others don't survive basic scientific scrutiny—and several of the most dramatic claims still lack the independent laboratory work, documented methodology and chain of custody needed to establish them. Across disclosure, Nazca and Buga, Fortean Winds keeps arriving at the same wall: Who actually holds the evidence? Scans, press conferences, testimony and extraordinary claims all come downstream from access. If physical evidence exists, independent researchers need to be allowed to examine it, replicate the findings and publish the data. Don't get ahead of the evidence. But don't stop following it either. The Few and the Secret: Following the Money Behind the Network State
2026/09/01
Send us Fan Mail The first episode followed the wealth, ideology and theology of a new technological elite. The second followed their plans into the physical world—from network states and charter cities to governments willing to trade pieces of sovereignty for investment. Now Fortean Winds follows the money home. In the final chapter of the Cadre & Cathedral trilogy, RamX and Bones examine the documented financial and political relationships connecting Peter Thiel, JD Vance, Palantir, Próspera, Freedom Cities and the broader network-state ecosystem. The trail leads through campaign financing, government contracts, political patronage, religious nationalism and parallel attempts to build semi-autonomous jurisdictions both overseas and inside the United States. Then the investigation takes an unexpected Fortean turn. Following the intellectual roots of accelerationism leads to Nick Land and the Cybernetic Culture Research Unit—and eventually to Aleister Crowley, whose ideas were explicitly explored by that movement decades before the Dark Enlightenment and network-state projects emerged. The connection isn't a secret Crowleyan conspiracy, and we don't pretend that it is. It's stranger than that. Different people, separated by decades, repeatedly arrive at a remarkably similar structure: concentrated authority, founder rule, acceleration, and a small group empowered to shape the future for everyone else. Crowley put it rather more bluntly: “Let my servants be few and secret: they shall rule the many & the known.” Three episodes. One emerging architecture. Wealth → Ideology → Territory → Power. Cloud First, Land Later: Building the Network State
2026/08/25
Send us Fan Mail They aren't just talking about replacing institutions anymore. They're building alternatives. In part two of Fortean Winds' investigation into the Cadre and Cathedral, RamX and Bones follow the network-state movement from Silicon Valley theory into physical territory. The idea is called “cloud first, land later.” Build the ideology online. Assemble a wealthy and committed community. Coordinate economically. Acquire territory across existing countries. And eventually seek recognition as something approaching a new state. This episode traces that idea through Balaji Srinivasan's The Network State, Patri Friedman's Seasteading movement and Pronomos Capital, Honduras' Próspera, Praxis, and the Network School experiment that moved from Malaysia to Kazakhstan after Malaysian regulators revoked its license. But the deeper the investigation goes, the stranger the project becomes. Religion isn't merely appearing alongside the network-state movement. Some of its advocates explicitly recognize shared faith and moral commitment as technologies for creating communities strong enough to survive where purely economic relationships fail. And beneath the promise of escaping governments lies a fundamental contradiction: Network states still need states. They need land. Courts. Visas. Property rights. Security. Infrastructure. And ultimately, governments willing to surrender or delegate pieces of their own sovereignty. What begins as an attempt to exit the nation-state may actually be something more practical: A search for nations willing to sell themselves in pieces. Part two of our three-part investigation. Cadre & Cathedral: Wealth, Myth and the New Ruling Class
2026/08/18
Send us Fan Mail In Dark Territory, we asked what happens when the signals go out—when institutions lose credibility, certainty disappears, and the only thing left is the method. Now we follow the tracks. In this episode, RamX and Bones examine a specific faction of the ultra-wealthy technology class and ask a simple question: What do they actually want to build? Starting with the extraordinary concentration of wealth during the pandemic, Fortean Winds traces the ideas moving through the network around Peter Thiel, Curtis Yarvin, Marc Andreessen and others: the "Cathedral," counter-elites, corporate sovereignty, network states, charter cities and Yarvin's proposed "honeycomb of cadres" prepared to step in when existing institutions fail. Then it gets stranger. Private networks connect money, technology, defense and political power—while increasingly theological language begins appearing around the project. Peter Thiel lectures on the Antichrist. Technology becomes entangled with prophecy. Political and economic ideas acquire the language of cosmic struggle. The pattern Fortean Winds finds is remarkably simple: Wealth → Ideology → Myth. This isn't about trading one authority for another. It's about staying in Dark Territory long enough to see what's actually being built. Dark Territory & the Guthrie Ransom Notes
2026/08/04
Send us Fan Mail What do you do when the signals disappear? Railroad crews call it dark territory—stretches of track with no signals, no dispatcher, and no easy answers. The train still moves. The rules simply change. In this episode of Fortean Winds, RamX and Bones explain why they aren't walking away from difficult investigations, even as many prominent voices publicly question their own judgment and step back from the search. The discussion then turns to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie and the recently released ransom notes that have drawn national attention. Using forensic linguistics, evidentiary tiering, and behavioral analysis, RamX demonstrates how the same investigative framework developed for UAP research can be applied to a real criminal investigation. This isn't about solving the case. It's about showing how disciplined analysis works when certainty is impossible. When the signals stop... The method becomes the map. AI, Consciousness and the Phenomenon with RamX
2026/07/21
Send us Fan Mail What happens when artificial intelligence is used to study the phenomenon instead of simply talking about it? After months of requests from listeners, RamX sits down for an unscripted conversation about the AI research behind Fortean Winds. From the AI Grimoire Analysis and the Enochian Watcher Project to unexpected conversations, pattern recognition, consciousness, and the limits of artificial intelligence, this episode explores what happened when modern AI was applied to centuries of occult literature and anomalous research. This isn't a discussion about AI hype or the future of technology. It's a behind-the-scenes look at the experiments that influenced several Fortean Winds investigations and the questions they raised about intelligence, perception, and the phenomenon itself. Topics include:  AI Grimoire Analysis  The Enochian Watcher Project  Pattern recognition and occult texts  Artificial intelligence and consciousness  AI hallucinations vs. genuine insights  The role of AI in anomalous research  Lessons learned from the experiment If you've ever wondered how AI became part of the Fortean Winds research process, this is the episode. The Encounter Architecture: UFOs, DMT & Every Encounter Tradition
2026/07/07
Send us Fan Mail What if UFO encounters, near-death experiences, mystical visions, shamanic journeys, and DMT experiences aren't separate phenomena at all? What if they're describing the same underlying architecture? In this episode of Fortean Winds, RamX presents the findings from an original comparative research paper examining thousands of encounter reports spanning centuries of human history. Drawing on peer-reviewed research, historical accounts, UFO case literature, neuroscience, religious experience, and clinical studies of DMT, this episode explores an unexpected convergence across independent traditions. Despite differences in culture, belief, geography, and historical era, witnesses consistently report: • autonomous intelligences  • direct thought-to-thought communication  • environments described as "more real than reality"  • profound personal transformation  • encounters that permanently alter worldview Rather than arguing for a single explanation, Fortean Winds asks a simpler—and perhaps more important—question: Why do independent experiences produce the same structure? This episode explores what RamX calls The Encounter Architecture—a recurring pattern that appears across UFO encounters, near-death experiences, mystical states, folklore, and DMT research. If the similarities are real... What are they actually pointing toward? They Walk Among Us
2026/06/02
Send us Fan Mail On May 28th, the White House posted those four words alongside a mock UFO disclosure website complete with declassified-style headers, glowing green text, and a call to report suspicious "aliens." But the aliens weren't extraterrestrials. They were immigrants. In this episode of Fortean Winds, RamX and Bones examine a month of extraordinary developments spanning UFO disclosure, the Epstein files, influence operations, political power, and the ongoing war for perception. The Pentagon's PURSUE program released dozens of new UAP files, including military footage of anomalous objects and federal witness reports that remain unexplained. At the same time, a highly publicized "disclosure" campaign culminated in a political messaging operation that many in the UFO community saw coming—and Fortean Winds predicted weeks earlier. The discussion then turns to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, the growing fallout from newly released records, the political destruction of Congressman Thomas Massie, and the mechanisms by which powerful institutions protect themselves. Finally, RamX and Bones explore allegations from insiders who claim modern political movements operate less like ideological coalitions and more like perception-management systems designed to manufacture consent and shape public reality. This episode is not about left versus right. It's about signal versus noise. Because sometimes the most important question isn't whether information is true. It's who benefits from you seeing it. Topics Covered  The White House "They Walk Among Us" campaign  Pentagon PURSUE UAP Release #2  Orb-on-orb military footage  Managed UFO disclosure  The Epstein Files Transparency Act  Thomas Massie and accountability politics  Influence operations and narrative management  Ashley St. Clair's insider allegations  The War for Perception framework  The occult, secrecy, and institutional power The signal is real. The Missing Profile: UFOs, Fairies, and Vanishing People
2026/05/12
Send us Fan Mail What if the modern UFO abduction phenomenon is only the latest version of something much older? In this episode of Fortean Winds, RamX and Bones trace a startling pattern across centuries of documented encounters involving missing time, unexplained disappearances, and the sudden removal of people from ordinary reality. The journey begins in 1759 rural Sweden, with the officially recorded case of Jacob Jacobsen — a young farm laborer who vanished for four days after walking down a road that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. When he returned, he remembered only minutes. From there, the pattern repeats. Witnesses describe:  sudden unnatural silence in forests  invisible thresholds  missing time  vanished companions  physical displacement  fragmented memory  encounters shaped by the cultural language of the era Fairies in the 1700s.  Aliens in the 1900s.  The same profile in both. The episode connects historical records, modern abduction cases, the Monica Reza disappearance, and witness testimony spanning more than 250 years to ask a difficult question: Are we dealing with different stories… or the same phenomenon wearing different masks? This is not an argument for one interpretation.  It is an argument for a pattern. And the consistency may be the evidence. Missing & Unexplained: When Scientists Disappear
2026/04/21
Send us Fan Mail People go missing every day. Most are found. This episode isn’t about those cases. In this installment of Fortean Winds, RamX and Bones examine a category of disappearances that defy conventional explanation — cases where individuals vanish near witnesses, leave no physical trace, and remain unresolved despite extensive search efforts. At the center of this discussion is the case of a scientist who disappeared under conditions that meet a strict anomalous threshold:  Last seen within seconds  No scent trail  No body  No evidence of movement  Large-scale search with no result Fortean Winds Framework: Follow the evidence. The Mondaloy Chain: What the Record Actually Shows
2026/04/14
Send us Fan Mail Everyone covering the missing scientists story is drawing a circle around nine names and calling it a pattern. A circle isn't an argument. When you sort the cases by actual evidentiary standard — documented, traceable connection to a classified program, yes or no — what survives is narrower than what's being circulated. Two cases anchor it. One thread connects them that almost nobody has examined, because it runs through patent filings and federal contract databases rather than social media. The thread is a classified nickel-based superalloy engineered for oxygen-rich rocket engine environments. It was developed under Air Force funding. The materials scientist who built the foundational science is dead. The engineer who made it producible is missing. The general who held classification authority over the programs it went into is missing — and disappeared eleven days after a presidential UAP declassification order. That's not a circle. That's a chain. Tonight RamX and Bones lay out the evidentiary sort: which cases hold, which don't, and why. The Mondaloy chain, traced through public patent and contract records. The institutional silence pattern across JPL, NASA, Caltech, and the Pentagon. The timing bracket. The classified congressional SCIF briefing nobody can talk about. And Burchett's statement this week — the most direct thing anyone with briefing access has said publicly: "We will not have UFO disclosure. They don't want it out. Too deep. Too strong." The gap is the point. We show the receipts. Aliens, Epstein, and the Gap in the Record
2026/03/26
Send us Fan Mail There are two kinds of mysteries:  The ones where nothing is there…  and the ones where something is there—but we don’t understand it yet. The problem is, people treat those the same. In this episode of Fortean Winds, we examine two completely different domains—UAP disclosure and the Epstein records—and show how they reveal the same analytical failure: moving past the evidence too quickly. On the UAP side, the data already tells us something real is happening. Objects are tracked across multiple systems, behaving in ways that remain unresolved. But instead of staying with that signal, the conversation jumps to conclusions—interdimensional beings, hidden civilizations, ultimate explanations. On the Epstein side, the record does not disappear. Travel, financial activity, testimony, and infrastructure all remain visible across the late 1990s and early 2000s. But one layer—the email layer—drops out between 1999 and 2001, before becoming dense and continuous after 2002. That is the anomaly. Not why it happened.  Not who caused it.  Only that it exists. This episode does not attempt to solve either mystery. It does something more difficult—and more useful: It stays with the structure of the evidence. We walk through:  The measurable gap in Epstein’s email record and why it matters  How cross-dataset comparison reveals signal through absence  The recurring pattern of UFO “disclosure” promises vs actual evidence  The tension between political incentives and institutional control  And how speculation consistently overwhelms both cases Across both stories, the same rule applies: If you skip the pattern and jump to the explanation, you lose the signal. There is a real phenomenon in the sky.  There is a real gap in the record. The causes remain unresolved. And that’s exactly where the analysis should stop—  and where the investigation should begin. Manufacturing the Untouchables: Epstein and the Protection System
2026/03/12
Send us Fan Mail Jeffrey Epstein didn’t become “untouchable” by accident. In Episode 51 of Fortean Winds, RamX and Bones examine how powerful figures can operate inside overlapping systems of protection — where intelligence adjacency, defense secrecy, institutional incentives, and narrative noise combine to shield accountability. Using Epstein as a case study, this episode explores how protection ecosystems form. Not through a single conspiracy or handler, but through the alignment of incentives across institutions that benefit from silence, opacity, and risk avoidance. The discussion explores:  • Intelligence-adjacent relationships surrounding Epstein’s network  • The defense-intelligence revolving door and the growth of classified spending  • The Pentagon’s repeated audit failures and structural accountability gaps  • How secrecy, budgets, and narrative noise create protection-by-ecosystem This episode isn’t about proving a hidden mastermind. It’s about understanding how systems can produce figures who operate as if they are untouchable. If protection is the outcome of incentives, the real question becomes: Who benefits from the system working exactly as it does? And how about some links? The PsyOp Framework: How Reality Gets Weaponized
2026/02/24
Send us Fan Mail What is a PSYOP — really? In this milestone Episode 50 of Fortean Winds, RamX and Bones break down official U.S. military doctrine on Psychological Operations (PSYOP), information warfare, and cognitive influence — then apply it to modern media, social networks, and even UFO disclosure. From Joint Chiefs doctrine (JP 3-13.2) to digital botnets, memetic warfare, and algorithmic amplification, this episode explains how perception itself has become the battlefield. Are UFO narratives being used as distraction, narrative management, or strategic belief shaping?  Is modern disclosure organic — or structured? This is not speculation. It’s a field manual. If perception is the battlefield, then PSYOP is the weapon.
