Evil eye and the phantom sh*tter
2026/10/21
It’s suddenly freezing, the hot water bottles are out, and Terrie and David are back at it — starting with Jake the dog basically running the whole house schedule like he pays rent. There’s full-on sideline parenting chat (are they WAGs, MAGs, or just “mads”?) as Sydney smashes camogie and stage school… while Terrie’s Halloween ghosts get taken out by the “southern wind” (according to David the human compass). Plus: Terrie’s big TV moment filming TK Maxx’s Make It Iconic with the iconic Michelle Visage, a Jason Derulo “ick” debate, teachers on strike, a terrifying coffin story, phrase origins, and a listener dilemma about raising “three kids”… capped off with a phantom s*****r revelation.
Monday hangovers and plagues
2026/10/11
Terrie’s running on about 20% with a brewing chest infection and the fear, while David is somehow 100% and looking for answers… starting with a full interrogation of Terrie’s “quick” Monday night out. There’s margaritas, the Pussycat Dolls in the 3Arena (with suspiciously empty seats), losing the girls like it’s The Walking Dead, a taxi-driver McDonald’s run, and the absolute horror of waking up still covered in tan and body shimmer. Then it takes a turn into plague-lab TikTok rabbit holes, a creepy unsolved(ish) Malahide murder from 1926, and why Monster before bed is too much. Plus: Sydney turning five with a killer-whale/shark party, stage school nerves, and a lovely listener email on parent guilt and how two feelings can be true at once.
The Juggle is real!
2026/10/04
Terrie brings Sydney into town for a YSL beauty event… and ends up rattled by how unsafe Dublin City feels after seeing drug use in broad daylight, sparking a proper chat about safety, addiction, and why supervised injection centres might actually help.Plus: the Next PR trip to London, David’s first-ever fashion brand shoot (hello, Blue Steel), celeb-name confusion, Netflix “Monster” chat, and the tired-parent reality of zero binge-watching.And of course, Sydney steals the show at the end.
That Government Leaflet Had Us Panicking
2026/09/27
Terrie’s back with the girlies’ tan, a brand‑new iPhone, and absolutely zero access to her emails — while David tries to survive the chaos (and the dressing gown pile-up) in peace. Then it’s full-on “shit magnet” territory as Terrie recounts a mid‑flight collapse, getting dragged into nurse mode, dodgy onboard oxygen, and Ryanair having the cheek to charge them for water after the drama. Plus: Terrie meets Michelle Keegan and goes full starstruck, David scuffs the car, Terrie wipes out in her brand‑new YSL heels, and they somehow still make it to The Traitors finale… before the Government’s “leaflet of doom” sends them spiralling into bunker chat.
Vaso bagel
2026/09/22
David’s “lucky to be here” after his second venesection… and Terrie is absolutely not letting him away with claiming he didn’t faint. From sore needles and oxygen tubes to the ongoing “vaso vagal” (or “vaso bagel”) debate, it’s chaos from the first minute. Then it’s puppy heartbreak as foster Eddie meets his new family, and the pair admit fostering is way tougher when Jake isn’t impressed. Plus: a listener email about workplace jealousy and taking the high road, a quick rant about Trump’s Ireland visit, Terrie getting mistaken for 27, and the random petrol-station drama that ends the episode.
It was never about me
2026/09/13
It’s a proper kitchen-table catch-up this week as Terrie and David go from Irish surnames and dodgy glasses, to the absolute headwreck of top-up phones, loud chewing, and trying to get five minutes’ peace in a house full of kids and dogs. They recap the Stellar Awards (arriving last, of course), share the “good news segment” about pets finally being allowed on public transport, and get into the big one: social media for kids, digital footprints, and why platforms should be doing more. Plus, Miles’ first birthday teddy bear picnic, and Terrie’s thought‑provoking message from a single mam that turns into a lesson in grace — before a maddening NSPCA waiting-room story that explains exactly why shelters are bursting.
Curveball
2026/09/06
David’s back from Portugal sounding “bunged up” but feeling weirdly fresh — because he’s officially in his “granddad hours” era: loads of water, the odd 7Up, and not writing himself off for once. The pair chat sober-curious life, balance, and why nights out hit different now. Then the episode takes a turn as they open up about David’s health scare: a 40th-birthday blood test, high iron, genetic testing, and his first venesection. It’s honest, a bit heavy, and a big reminder to be proactive and advocate for yourself. Plus: the foster puppies are still running the house.
We fostered puppies !
2026/08/31
Terrie has officially upped the ante… and David is in bits. One minute they’ve three kids, the next it feels like five — because Terrie has brought home not one, but TWO foster puppies from the NSPCA. They’re seven weeks old, adorable puppies and suddenly David’s packing for Portugal while Terrie’s bracing herself to solo-parent the full zoo. Also on the menu: the Brown Thomas carpark scrape that’ll cost a small fortune, a chaotic night that turns into 4am shots with The Weeknd’s security, and the big “sober curious” chat—are they finally giving up the drink?
Our last holiday with the kids??
2026/08/23
Back from Portugal and absolutely banjaxed, Terrie and David sit on the couch doing a full post-holiday debrief: too much travel, too many jobs, a front door full of packages, and the strong realisation that the kids mightn’t see another holiday till they’re 16 or 17.They get into the chaos of “family holidays” — the constant complaining, naps getting ruined, apartments vs hotels, and why the heat nearly finished them.Plus: the Faro Airport queue from hell with private-jet VIP drama, Terrie’s Aldi “supermarket sweep”, a chaotic birthday dinner, and David’s mysteriously purple finger.

Stockholm Syndrome & a Midnight Torch Check
2026/07/18
Terrie and David are back and it kicks off with David diagnosing himself with full-on “Stockholm syndrome” after a proper barnie in the car — plus a quick foot update nobody asked for. Then it takes a turn when Terrie tells the story of a random man trying to take a selfie with Sydney, the awkward aftermath… and the slow‑mo fall that had her losing sleep for days. They get into the reality of being a parent in 2026: lost kids at festivals, dads bringing daughters into toilets, and what’s actually appropriate. Also on the agenda: Dermot Kennedy at the Aviva (third attempt, nearly missed it), teething chaos, a new mattress/skip saga, and David absolutely losing it over the six‑week hose ban.
Curly Toenails, Phone Credit & Pure Exhaustion
2026/07/12
Terrie and David are back, absolutely shattered after a 3-hours-there-4-hours-back family spin to Roe Valley — and David’s still raging that nobody offered to drive while he tried to “keep everyone alive” on the motorway. There’s car-charge stops, Myles turning into a demon the second he wakes up, and Sydney proving she’s Terrie's ride-or-die… while also being fully ready to call 999 because “the guard knows me.”They chat hormones, being type A vs type “can’t exist,” Love Island drama (justice for Charlene Murphy), and a listener dilemma about jealousy in friendships.Plus: curly toenails, foot-rot accusations, and the chaos that is Terrie’s “makeup room” dump.
Back from the cruise
2026/07/06
Terrie and David are back from the cruise and giving you a rundown on the absolute carnage — from the *massive* Legend of the Seas (20 floors, drones, YouTubers with security, and a buffet so good they barely left it) to why they’re already plotting a Caribbean one next year. They get weirdly deep about how a ship that weighs 248,000 tons can even float… and then swing straight back into reality: Myles is crawling, head-banging for reactions, and Jake is apparently “getting a bit senile”.Plus: the Ryanair seat scam rant, the motion-sensor toilet door disaster, and Rome in a heatwave nearly ending the marriage over a €5 bottle of water.
